Spectacular staff, drinks were perfect, and the food was gourmet. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants an elevated Convington experience.

I ordered the Espresso Martini (which also comes with whipped cream if you'd prefer) and the Wild Mushroom Meatloaf.

We also had our family's wedding rehearsal dinner there. It was beautiful.

Love, love, love CP! Bar-fly regular! I'm adding pictures from a recent family dinner where CP accommodated ~13 people and service was outstanding as well as the food and drinks! Everyone was incredibly happy and loved one of "my favorite places." 😁

The service was phenomenal. The bar is amazing. Drinks were very well made and bartenders are great! The food we had was good. They obviously have a chef who cares about the food being served. However, as of right now I believe Mystic Grill has a slight lead on the taste department for their meals. That being said, City Pharmacy is great and is obviously enjoyed by a lot of people.

Excellent food and table service. Ansley was great! Drinks were unique and well done. The prime rib and scallops were both on point! First time here but will be back for sure.

Amazing food. We shared the fried risotto balls, crabcake, Brussels, and truffle fries. My companions both had salads for entrees and I the 3 meat meatloaf with veg and potatoes. Every thing was excellent. The cocktails were phenomenal as well. Excellent service. I do recommend reservations as we were unable to get a table the night prior.

Wife has been wanting to try this place for a minute now. We were not disappointed. Everything was top notch. Service. Food. Ambience. Price was a bit high, but the overall experience justified the price point for me. Will eat here again for sure.

Always enjoy my meal and experience when I dine at CP. the servers are all very knowledgeable and positive and the food is spectacular. Wide verity on the menu as well. Must try for special occasion or date night!

This place was unexpectedly good. We really enjoyed our date night with great food, good service and a nice atmosphere. Sit at the bar if you can, it's like having dinner and a show. We had the salmon croquette, steak, meat loaf and the flourless tart. Omg everything was delicious. Also, My husband's different cocktail drinks were the best!

We didn’t have a reservation and got a sit at the bar, in a company of nice bartenders. Great atmosphere and tasty food. Chicken with risotto was delicious with amazing sause. Good cocktails and mock tails. Overall great service and experience.

Food was delicious. Atmosphere was cozy but up tempo. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had the shrimp appetizers, and for dinner the stuffed trout with wild rice, and the chicken with mashed potatoes. Very good dinner!

From the time you walk through the door to the time where you're pushing away from the table, nothing but EXCELLENCE! The service is second to none and the food is always phenomenal! We love us some City Pharmacy!

Pro tip: MAKE RESERVATIONS! Even during the weekdays, you'll fare much better if you have a reservations!

Chelsea is the absolute best! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the service, food, and atmosphere. Chelsea made our time at the bar enjoyable while sharing City Pharmacy’s history. A+ in our book. Will definitely be back for more.

This vibe was truly an experience. Friendly faces and comfortable atmosphere. Ashley our server was wonderful. You can talk she loves what she does. It’s so hard to find service, but we were so pleased at the restaurant experience. The food was great. I got the chicken and waffles and their recipe was delicious! I would love to come back soon.

This restaurant is an unexpected treat- I wish I lived closer.
It's right on the corner of historic downtown Covington, the walk up is already lovely, but from the first glimpse of this restaurant you know it's something special. I've come for just drinks at the bar or a whole evening with friends and both were amazing.

Besides the excellent food and drinks, the atmosphere is what really sets this place apart. The manager/owner? can often be seen walking the floor, straightening chairs and setting things in order, but he doesn't have to. Every server has been so great and friendly, always knowledgable about the menu, with the right balance of interaction and giving us space. All the details come together to make a cool, elegant, interesting bar/restaurant that I feel happy bringing my wife to on a date night. I only wish I had another closer to where I live, I'd be there every week.

I stopped in today to enjoy a quiet brunch on a date with myself. Lol. My server was Mark. He was very pleasant and patient. Everyone I encountered seemed pleasant. The restaurant was setting up for a semi-private event. But, it didn’t disrupt the regular service and experience. Now, let’s talk about the food. It’s brunch time and it was my first time experiencing their brunch service. The bacon was made perfectly! I believe it was baked which is the way I prefer. It’s a thick cut and very tender. Chicken sausage was a little too bland for my taste. I also prefer a more seared sausage. The BBQ Shrimp and Grits were good, but I’d prefer the gouda grits alone. The BBQ sauce and sausage were sweet and i prefer a more savory shrimp and grits. I like to get out of my comfort zone, so I tried it anyway. I would definitely get the gouda grits again without the accompaniment of the shrimp, sausage, and gravy. They were creamy and well made with enough gouda to flavor without overpowering the grits. Finally, the coffee was good. I tried it black first to check its standalone flavor. I could definitely drink it black. It’s strong with a nice flavor profile, but not bitter. I definitely recommend you try this restaurant. I don’t drink, but they appear to have an extensive wine and beer list.

This is my MOST recommended restaurant East of Atlanta!

As I always say to everyone I meet looking for a great upscale dinning experience, "Go to City Pharmacy!". The food is farm to table, the Chef is present in the kitchen, the drinks are amazing, and the vibe never gets old. The servers are well trained and fun.

My favorite dish for brunch is the Smoked Salmon Toast and an espresso martini made in house with locally roasted espresso.

Definitely a must go for anyone looking for an upscale, well thoughout dinning experience!

Ok Vampire Diaries fans!! I know you must go to Mystic grill but do yourself a favor and just take photos outside and then hop on over to City Pharmacy. The peel and eat shrimp are the stuff of dreams and I will be dreaming of them for weeks with that yummy tarter sauce. Get the pound and share it with a friend it’s plenty for a light lunch before your trolley tour. But me being the foodie I am both times my friend and I went I had to have more than just the shrimp. I also had the salmon croquette with drunken honey mustard.. now it maybe $14 for one but it’s worth it; it’s spicy with a bit of sweetness from the drunken honey mustard. I got a repeat of the exact same thing the 2nd time we went just this time I also had the soup of the day which was pork and potato and to me it was more of a chili but it was also a little spicy but soo filling and yummy! My best friend got the fried green tomatoes and they came with pimento cheese on top and they were very tasty as well. Guys you must pop in at least once! Do it!

What an adorable place! Georgia, who waited on us, was attentive & helpful, still allowing us to enjoy our date evening. The dinner was just great. We each got the tomahawk chop and shared a side of roasted carrots. The peach chutney with the chop was a perfect pairing!
These chops were cooked perfectly. We enjoyed the entire evening.

Such a neat place! The menu is very detailed and the food is amazing! The watermelon salad was delicious! The drinks are really neat because they are called prescriptions. The staff made sure we always had water and they were so kind. I got the herbal remedy drink and it was very yummy!

Made a quick stop around 5pm. Our server was Georgia. She was friendly and got everything to us quickly. We loved the atmosphere, drink was good and fish and chips were great.
