When we unexpectedly lost someone, we truly wanted the kindhearted, thoughtful, understanding staff at Guil-Rand Funeral Service to care for our beloved husband and Dad. Brian made himself available for any call we needed to make and so graciously accommodated some not so usual requests to make sure our loved one was completely honored in his final moments before burial. When the casket was discovered to be damaged, he immediately called and arranged for another to be delivered, and it was! When the casket spray was not as it was intended, he again made a call and someone was there in moments to make it right, and that they did! It is very obvious that Brian makes personal sacrifices to care for strangers, who become family, in the worst of times in their lives; and for that he deserves all the success he can handle. I contacted Brian at Guil-Rand after unexpectedly losing my mother. I needed to have her brought back home and wasn't sure how to do any of this. Brian gave me the reassurance that he would take care of everything and not to worry. He went several hours away to pick her up and bring my mom home with dignity and respect. The team was there for my mom and the family during this time of sorrow showing much care and kindness. After the funeral Brian came to the hospital due to my brother having a medical emergency just before the service began. He was concerned about him. That speaks high volumes as to the type of person he is. I would definitely choose Guil-Rand again if the need arises. Brian and his team are priceless.

There are not enough or the right words to describe the sense of peace and comfort and ease from Brian Hill and the staff who have have touched our hearts during a most unexpected and difficult time. Each one had touched my family in more ways than we can count. There is so much to say about how truly special they have made this experience. OMG...this company has been amazing through the passing of my mother and my sister. The first time I met Brian, I knew that there was something special about him. He cares about people. They don't try and take advantage of you while you are grieving. I felt confident in leaving my loved ones in their hands. From start to finish, I was extremely pleased. Everything was geographically convenient from the funeral home, to the Chapel and the cabin at the cemetery for the repass. Oh, the view at the cabin. It was so beautiful. I will recommend them to ALL my people and friends.

It was a very tough time to go through, and Guil-Rand worked very hard to take the burden off of us, those that are in mourning and grief.

They orchestrated an absolute beautiful visitation, funeral mass, burial, and celebration of life for my mother. All details were handled with care and elegance. All four events turned out very well, and many friends and family members commented to us about how wonderfully it all went and how great of a job Guil-Rand did.

At a time when our family was distraught and surprised by our fathers passing, GuilRand was there for our every need. Gentle with the not so pleasant details of arranging his memorial in a calm and quiet atmosphere and very fair financially, they were patient with every aspect of our decision making up to and just before the service with last minute changes or arrangements. We never heard the word “no” or “we can’t”.
Burial site arrangements in another state would otherwise be a stressful undertaking but they fulfilled our very last request of laying our father to rest with dignity and honor.
