Kids Peace

I worked at kids peace as a teacher for 2 years 2011-2012. I enjoyed and learned so much from working with the kids and staff there. It was a different type of experience but it prepared me to be one of the best teachers and administrators in my career.

If I'm gonna be real I was there for like a year and a half. Probably would have been doing the same things or worse if I didnt end up there. Much love to Mrs.Tanya and Mr.Jacob

I was there for 10 months and it was horrible. But the staff there are really loving and caring.

Bad place you have to watch your back every second I got attacked by staff and clients don't recommend going there

BEDBUGS! Not a place I recomend FOR FEMALES. I was there for 7 months on the Martha Berey unit for females and it has been INFESTED with bed bugs since I got there . The staff say they “spray” but that’s a lie the bugs are still there . The Ray Charles and Ivan Allen units for boys seem ok . The therapists are great but you only see them once a week . The pictures of the place is photoshopped , it looks great on the outside and front lobby but wait untill you get on the units , they’re DISGUSTING . Parents , please do not send your GIRLS here . It’s HELL

From the information gathered from someone who has stayed there, most of the residents are too aggressive, and this makes the place very dangerous. According to them, one time, 2 staff got their arms broken by the residents, on the same day. I will be requesting that this go under investigation by specific services and the police, to increase the safety of everyone there.

i did not like my stay its lock down hell. also they photoshoped the heck out of that photo i laughed my A** off when i saw all that grass also shoutout to the best staff that might , might not, and arnt their still Mr.Woody , Mr.Kieth, Mr.West, Ms. Gleeson (the teacher), Ms. Terisa, Ms.uh (forgot her first name but could never forget her last "Brown"), Mr.Jason, and last but not least R.I.P Mr.David

If there was less then one star I'd give it . Working for this place WAS horrible . don't apply here unless you have the patience of a god and want to work really hard for hardly any money and be treated like you don't matter . Worst experience of my life . Not sure if I'm legally allowed to talk about the experience at this place or not , so I'll leave that out . Just know this is one of the most awful places to work . You don't matter at all here like the training makes you feel like you do at first .

I was there from June 12th - October 17th. I wouldn't wish anybody to go there, not even my worst enemy
