Colonial Ace Hardware

These dudes rock, my car died out front and they had 2 staff members come out and help me get it out of the road. They gave me advice on solutions for my car problems, tried to jump my car, and wouldn’t even let me pay them back for their troubles.

The staff here are amazingly helpful and this location has a decent selection when you don't want to make a trip to the big orange or blue stores.

This store has THE GREATEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Nathaniel was the most helpful person I have come across in the city. I felt like I was in a small town getting top notch advise from a guy that ran a family hardware store for 3 generations. Very professional. Give Nathaniel a raise or a promotion. Help like that needs to be kept happy

Stopped here in need of some nuts and bolts for my wheelchair that was falling apart. I had NO CLUE what I needed, yet the staff was very efficient in helping me determine what I needed. Michele and Glen took great care of me to make sure I got everything I needed. Most helpful staff at a hardware store that I have ever experienced. Stop by and get what you need today!

I LOVE Ace Hardware- especially this particular location, which is where I routinely shop. I went in today because I was having a problem with my sink sprayer and I was hoping that one of the employees could either help with the issue I was having (it wasn't fitting on my hose) or, sell me a sprayer that would fit (I should mention I brought in all of the parts).

Well, I ran into Mike, asked him if he knew anything about plumbing and he said yes. I pulled out the parts I had, told him my issue and he tried his best to put the thing back together (I had messed it up when I tried at the house so it was in a few pieces). He had some trouble, and I just asked if perhaps they had an in-tact part I could buy? Your store did not (mine is a Moen and apparently not 'multi fit'). So, he continued to try to figure out mine, the one I brought in; he even went up to the counter where there was a flat surface to try even harder to figure the darned thing out! Well, he DID! He took a good deal of time, care, and concern with me, and I am wholly grateful. He was SO nice and totally solved my issue to where I did NOT have to hire a plumber, which means a lot since money is tight for me (and all of us!) these days.

I then asked him if he could make me a key (the other reason I came to the store) and he did.
Employees who are friendly and helpful like Mike are the very reason I just LOVE Ace Hardware, and will continue to patronize the store, always! SOOO much better than the 'larger' hardware stores, you know the ones- which I try to avoid at all costs unless you guys don't have what I need- but most times, you do. Ace is ACE for hardware needs- especially for truly HELPFUL advice along with the purchased items. Thank you so much! Give Mike some props, too. He was a delight. :-)

They are well stocked and if they don't have it, they'll point you to an ACE that has what you're looking for.
They are *friendly* and *helpful* which is something that I can't find in any of the 'big' stores. When I had a project I needed help with, I came to this Colonial ACE Hardware, and 'Berkie' helped me solve my problem and walked me through what to do, and pointed me directly to the supplies I needed. I'd found a perfect clothes rack, but it didn't roll! Berkie helped me figure out how to get wheels on it, and now it rolls and is MUCH more useful!!

Always have most anything I need in stock. And they make keys there STILL.

I ordered a Stihl FSA 57 string trimmer from them...... they said it would be there the next day.... it was and the folks who worked at store could not have been more pleasant and knowledgeable.... it was a pleasure doing business with them.

We received excellent service from Michelle who helped us with some new hardware for a project, as well as finding some replacement screws for dad's walker - yes, he is an old Marine and yes, he doesn't like asking for help. Well done!

We went to this Ace today just to pick up an item that wasn't in stock at our usual Ace. We decided to cruise the aisles while we were there and within 30 seconds Nathan asked if he could help. After we were done exploring we flagged down Nathan just to tell him that this was the nicest Ace store we'd ever been to. Extremely well-organized and well-lit and made it easy to spot ideas that we hadn't thought of. Everyone we ran into was eager to help. It was actually kinda fun and we're likely to go the extra couple of miles next time just because it was so pleasant. Nathan seemed very proud of the store and pleased with our feedback.

A HUGE shoutout to Nathan and Jessie for going over and beyond to help my wife and I fix an unexpected leak we found in our Food Truck whilst being on-site for a food event. We immediately drove our Truck to the Store where both Nathan and Jessie happily assisted us and got us back on track for business. Thank You very much to you both, we appreciate such impeccable service.

Tools Ace Hardware they're all over town they are absolutely the best place to find everything you need for those Home Improvement fix it up whatever type little projects. I shop them all over town and I'm rarely disappointed they really know how to run a hardware store

This is my go to place for almost everything! The staff is helpful and quick to ask if I need something and when I do, they know right where it is in the store. It is a great store and does not have an overwhelming amount of choices for things but still have everything you would need.

Everyone of the team members were not only inviting and helpful but they really took time with me and my family this evening.. I came in looking for a power drill. While Glen and Nathan helped me with the power drill search Stella was at the front being a sweetheart to my daughter and fiancé .. Great service.. it’s hard to find especially around the holidays because most people rather be home with their families.. But I left Ace with a big smile!! And an invite to a car club!

Definitely coming in again!

I have no experience whatsoever buying tools, pipes, etc. so when a friend asked if I could buy specific hardware and pipes from this store, it was a bit overwhelming with the walls of various selections. However, the team over at Ace did a wonderful job for making everything simple and when I returned with what I bought, it was exactly what my friend needed. Friendly store and great service, I would 100% shop here again

Truly “The Place With The Helpful Hardware Folks”! They are incredibly well staffed, and you won’t be in the store 5 seconds before someone offers knowledgable assistance. The store is much bigger than it appears from the outside and not only do they have all hardware needs covered, they also offer extras like pool and pet supplies. Highly recommended!

They have about anything you could want. Much better than the Ace hardware on Aloma.

This Ace Hardware is one of the throw backs. Everyone in there is so nice and goes out of their way. I simply went in to have a copy of my car key made ( Since Ace is "The Place", the only place so I've been told, and hard learned on my own, that can actually make working "chip" keys that actually work to start your car. Anyways I had someone greet me and send me in the right direction and then an associate started helping me until "the key guy" showed up and gave me step by step instructions on how to quickly program it. I spent 25%-35% of what the dealership wanted and I have a perfect copy. Thanks Ace Hardware Folks

They have FRIENDLIEST and most helpful staff. No matter what you look like or where you come from, this team treats everyone like a valuable customer. I could have stayed and chatted all day. There is nothing like a business that cares about every customer. I WILL shop here vs the “big box” hardware stores In the future.
