This place has a really cool walkway. It ends at the intercoastal and you can get some of the best Sun set pictures

We decided to stop and check this park out today. There is a picnic shelter with bathrooms by the parking lot.
We strolled all along the elevated boardwalk which is about 1/2 mile long. The opposite end came out right behind the Flagler Beach Public Library. There is also a nice park in that area.
It was a very pleasant walk, however, there is no shade so it can be hot!
Part way down the initial part of the boardwalk, there is an opening on each side leading to another trail. We’ll have to explore that another day!

It's a nice trail to walk on. My favorite things to see were the tortoises. If you do go, just make sure not to touch them, leave them be.

Absolutely beautiful and very well taken care. The boardwalks were in fantastic shape. Hard to believe this place is right in the middle of downtown. I followed a trail on the app AllTrails, but there is another hiking trail as well. Boardwalks are mostly in direct sunlight, but there are benches and shades on other parts of trail.

Gopher tortoises galore! Love this place! I always see cardinals when I'm here. Huge pavilion! The scenery is beautiful, though there are a lot of dead trees. Found a baby gopher tortoise, which I was excited to see since most do not survive. Someone left a note in a tree, that was interesting!

Relatively big park right outside of town. Extensive walkways that look new. Mangrove forests. Full of wildlife like Anhingas and gopher turtles. Can spend 1-2hrs walking around

Peaceful, beautiful park. There are wooded trails & boardwalks. See the intracoastal, gopher tortoises & lush vegetation. There are clean bathrooms, a picnic area & free parking.

Fun place to burn some energy with all the walkways, but ended up hanging out with the turtles at the beginning for most of the time

A lovely oasis of calm in the interface between the Intracoastal Waterway and the barrier island on which Flagler Beach resides. There's plenty of wildlife to see if you take your time to observe: Birds (herons, egrets, ibises, vultures and others), mullet, occasional manatees, crabs, etc. (I've never seen an alligator there, but others have told me they show up every now and then. Don't worry, you'll only see them from the boardwalks, so there's no danger.)
There's a combination of elevated boardwalks and sandy trails winding through the preserve, and two observation/fishing decks at the Intracoastal Waterway ends of the boardwalk. My favorite time to visit the preserve is at sunrise. It's a great way to get your day off to a nice start.

Nice place to go for a walk. Could use some repair. The metal bridge has area's in need of Welding. Some of the sidewalks are a little uneven. But a very nice area. Really love this place.
