Had a great time at the Flagler Beach Historical Museum! When I entered I was greeted by two very welcoming people. Then I was given a tour of the museum. The tour was amazing! I learned so much about our town's rich history. One of the many cool things on display was this city of Flagler Beach flag taken into orbit aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour on a flight to the International Space Station in December 2001. Both of the volunteers were very knowledgeable about the history and had amazing stories about Flagler Beach. The museum was also very clean and very well organized. They also have a gift shop where you can purchase books about our local history, postcards, etc. I highly recommend both residents and tourists to stop by the museum and learn about our rich history!

What a hidden gem! How great to be able to see all the history of Flagler beach. We actually got to physically touch mastodon teeth bones! Most museums only let you look! The gentleman overseeing the museum was so informative and so friendly.

I do like small museums like this tells me about the history of the Town how was founded. What I like the most is seeing all the historic photos off before Flagler became what it is now.

If you like Flagler Beach you'll love Flagler Beach Historical Museum. It's nicely put together, small but filled with many displays. Lots of interesting photos, documents, historical and modern. The volunteers are knowledgeable and also love Flagler Beach so you'll have a great visit. Enjoy and don't forget to buy a book or treasure to remind you of your visit.

You will find this unique museum very interesting and the docents pleasant and helpful about the museum, the city of Flagler Beach and surrounding areas.
Not disappointing. The admission is free but donations accepted.

The museum was open during my family's visit over the Labor Day weekend, and Flagler Beach was a familiar destination for my mother back in the 1930's. She enjoyed looking around and chatting with the staff about locating various places from the past. The exhibits cover archaeology items like fossils of mastadons, mammoths, and giant ground sloths, and historical events like a Lindbergh flight in 1931 that my mother remembered.

A small open floor plan building is preserving the pictures, documents and artifacts that make up the history of this sea side community. A helpful volunteer allows us to hold a 20,000 year old Mastodon tooth!

I have lived in Flagler County for over 40 years and it's really cool to see all the photos of the area way back then - It's good we have this museum in town for the young folks.
