Riverside Cafe

The Riverside Cafe has a beautiful view of the Indian River Lagoon, great food, great service and a fun, vibrant atmosphere. They offer a really inviting All You Can Eat Sunday Brunch Buffet complimented with All You Can Drink Bloody Mary’s or Mimosas! With live music and great prices this is definitely a hot spot. I would highly recommend for a good time and great meal.

Was recommended by multiple members of the Vero Beach Foodie Facebook Group to try the grouper at this place from the as a place a visitor could get "local" foods they might not find outside of the region.

Well oiled system to handle waiting (buzzers and a recommendation to go see the under-bridge pier).

Broad menu. Fair prices for the volume and value of the dishes. Competent wait staff. Food perfectly cooked. Ice cold raw oysters served with nice presentation; giant loaded nachos dish easily enough for four people to chow down on. Cup of chowder is actually a cup (appetizer) size. Picky Eater Companion gobbled it up with only one complaint - a few big chunks of clam! Grouper picatta was delectable, with summer squash and zucchini with flavored rice, well worth the higher end of the price range (market price). Waitress may have been merely encouraging me when I was waffling on my decision when she said that's the best item on the menu; but I think she may have been serious. Fish and chips didn't have a drop of grease. Batter was puffy with a slightly crispy outer layer with no uncooked gummy texture below. No hint of old oil. One order can serve 2 people with a bit of an appetite or 3-4 people eating USDA serving sizes. Cole slaw was crisp with a mild bite to it.

Place and parking lot were packed on a Wednesday night. Live music added to the somewhat overpowering noise level of diners talking, laughing, and a few singing along). This is a place to bring out your gregarious, joyful voice; not your quiet, cozy, hushed tones.

Nice water and bridge views from the deck. Tell front end where you'd like to be seated if it matters to you. The water adjacent to the deck is lit from underwater, illuminating the dozens of fish who visit in hopes of snagging some fish food, dropped by customers who drop 50 cents into the fish food dispenser.

Always a great place to eat and the food is delicious. Your right on the Intercoastal so the landscape and view is amazing. I also hang out on weekend nights and the service from the bar is always good, not to mention they have security guards that are very proactive....

We were in Vero for an appointment at around 4 pm. The night before, we googled places to eat in Vero Beach and we chose Riverside Cafe based on the location, menu and the positive reviews. It turned out to be a good decision 😁! The view is spectacular as well as the food! We started with the oysters rockefeller. They were soooo good! I would drive from Palm Bay anytime just for those oysters...yum! For entrées, I had the grilled cheese sandwich with beefsteak tomatoes and 5 different cheeses along with fries. Both were very tasty! My husband had a salad with grilled chicken and a balsamic vinaigrette. He said it was good! Overall we had an enjoyable experience, will definitely be back!

Had a delicious lunch here with family after a swim meet in Fort Pierce. We were seated right away along the river. I had the Tuna nachos which were some of the best I've had and the tuna was plentiful. Also had a cold blue moon to accompany it. My son had the soft shell crab sandwich and loved it and the wife had a blackened Mahi sandwich - also loved it. The fries I stole off there plates while they enjoyed the view were hot and yummy. Our server was very friendly and efficient.

Awesome local restaurant/bar on the intercostal. They have dock space to pull right up on your boat. Very diverse menu with something for everyone, the food is always great. They have a huge bar with about a dozen TVs, great spot for NFL Sunday. At night it becomes more of club with a live DJ.

All the food but the potato salad was amazing. The potato salad seemed to be lacking flavor

The Tuna Nachos dish is out of this world delicious! Fresh tuna over a bed of seaweed salad and crispy wontons. The wasabi and soy sauces were so tasty.

After church, we went for the Sunday Brunch Buffet. It is fabulous! All the wait staff are kind and attentive. We plan on making it a weekly visit!

Can't say enough good things about this place, I've never had a bad experience and the one time my son had a "bad experience" the waitress allowed us to move after a table cleared out so he could be closer to the water to see the giant catfish.

🍤 Jumbo shrimp ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Most of the time when you order at other restaurants it's hardly larger than something you'd buy at Publix but when I ordered it here it was like the size of chicken tenders! (Photo uploaded)

🐔 Buffalo chicken sandwich ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - big and filling, plenty of sauce & plenty of mess.

🥨 Pretzel appetizer ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - same you'd expect at a pretzel place, lightly salted, dipping sauce and fresh. One of my son's favorites and this thing is definitely a 3-4 person appetizer.

🐙 Kalamari ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - no complaints same as most places around Vero, lightly breaded and fresh. We were coming here weekly for a period of time until we all got tired of eating this appetizer and slowed our visits 😆. Whatever we didn't finish I would cut up into smaller pieces and we feed it to the catfish (they go wild for it).

🍣 Tuna nachos ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - not sure how often this is available, my wife has only attempted to order it twice and we've been successful once. She ate it as a meal and never complained, very healthy portion of tuna easily another 3-4 person appetizer.

Kids 🍔 hamburger ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐- he's never complained and had it more times than I care to count

🍰 We had a peanut butter chocolate cheesecake thing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (don't recall the name, photo uploaded) its the one with caramel and chocolate drizzle that's missing half of it because I could barely get a photo before it was devoured 😂.

Anyways every waitress we've had has been kind and courteous, we actually started coming there every week because of our second visit. Can't recall the waitress name but she was so awesome and the best waitress we've had in years. I'm actually sad we've never had her again since all the times we've returned for the food and view; I forgot about that interaction until now. Guess we'll be seeing y'all soon again 🤣

My mom and I stopped in here as I saw it recommended in a blog from a local. It is right on the water. We saw dolphins from our table! The menu was fantastic, it was hard to choose. And our waitress, Sarah, treated us amazing. I have not had such amazing and attentive service in a long time! Definitely recommend! Sarah, you rock!

Great food. It should be featured on triple D. Fresh oysters. Fabulous hush puppies. Grouper Rueben is to die for, and now one of my favorite foods. Tuna nachos were amazing. Friendly staff. I almost didn't want to review as I don't want it too crowded.

Awesome food!! We had steamed clams, Bang Bang Shrimp, Blackened Mahi sandwich and the chicken tenders and fries. Everything was hot, and came out pretty quickly, and taste amazing!! They were busy (we went on a Friday night) so we had a little wait but it was worth it (we waited because we wanted to sit outside). Our server wasn't very personable but she was quite busy and the food was good so it didn't really matter. Definitely recommend and we will absolutely be back

Lunch on the water at its finest with amazing service and scenery. Surrounded by the ocean and boats, this little joint boasts some amazing dishes. I highly recommended the steak frites and fries as a excellent blend of local class and down home cooking. The service was quick and friendly although our neighboring table didn't have quite the same experience.

I have been coming to Florida from Alabama and I have eaten here everyday. It amazes me how clean the bathrooms are and how wonderful the place smells. It always smells so clean and fresh. You want a clean place to eat and enjoy the clean investment this is your to go to place. I highly recommend this establishment.

Very good food, good service and Florida vibes, it's right by the bridge and they have lights so you can see the fish under the dock. The restaurant is loud friendly and the bar usually has a band, good place to catch the game, great place to meet others

Great food. Highly recommend the Big zcrabby sandwich and Greek salad and ultimate grilled cheese. We sat outside and it's right on the waterfront

I ordered Margaritas, the bang bang shrimp was fresh and delicious, the steak entree with rice was very good too. Pretty good food, good visuals, nice drinks. Our server was so sweet and pleasant. I also was able to see dolphins and fish, great brunch for me.

Excellent food, prices and service. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

This place has a fish camp kind of vibe. Definitely had good food , great service and cool view of the water. Will definitely return.
