Brooklyn Water Bagel

Never knew this place existed. Delightfully surprised by their kindness, patience, and generosity. The employees of this bagel shop went out of their way to explain menu choices. The manager sincerely wanted you to feel important, treating you as a welcome guest. I was able to try a few of the many styles and flavors of drinks that were available. My friend, who was from NY, enjoyed the names of the items that brought back memories of their home. That even led to conversations with other people in the restaurant which also reminded me of the New England community atmosphere where you could hear how much the people loved the area that they lived, even though they were from different states. It made me feel like I was home. I felt welcome. It's was like I was a friend with perfect strangers.

Can’t say enough how well this place is ran. The employees are always welcoming you with smiles, and great vibes. Very great food as well. I get the Brooklyn it’s just so good the eggs are fluffy and bacon is great. Coffee is refillable as well. Very great breakfast place to eat.

I LOVE a good bagel. It’s a comfort food for me. This place does not disappoint! Authentic NY style bagels, served exactly how I love them. The COFFEE is also exceptionally good. I would not say that Brooklyn Water Bagel has kept pace with the creativity of the better mom and pop bagel shops of the city, however. Bagel and smear flavors were a bit pedestrian, but very well executed. They do it right! Pastrami and egg sandwich was great, as was my favorite everything bagel sandwich. Go. Well worth it. Don’t expect to try something new, but do expect it to be executed perfectly.

My first time here. The restaurant was clean and the staff who took my order was personable and polite.

I took a star off the review for two reasons. The first is that when ordering another team member started running a wet dry shop next to the cash register and it very difficult to place the order and confirm it was correct. The second reason for the lack of a star was the manager slid the bag containing my order across the counter at me and walked away. It’s not that he was rude, it’s just that he wasn’t friendly.

The bagels were good. The amount of cream cheese was impressive and I’ll be sure to return. I would encourage everyone to get bagels here but I think the customer service skills could improve.

It’s been a year and I’ve returned to the area and returned to Brooklyn Water Bagel.

This time the staff were much more friendly and nice. The staff were friendly “enough” but it makes me wonder what the culture is like there that people ant be happy.

Anyway,This time I had a salt bagel and it was good. I wish it was super encrusted with salt. I’d pay more if it was. The bagel was good and chewy.

I was intrigued that they had egg creams. Disappointed that I had to make it myself but ok I’m game. The problem was that the spoon they give you is dramatically too short so your fingers are in the drink while stirring and that’s no fun. The drink was just mid but the next time I’ll make it better.

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who is absolutely AMAZING! The food was great , his service was impeccable. Very professional and friendly! 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Will def be back :). THANK YOU !

I'm born and raised in Williamsburg, Brooklyn New York, finally a Brooklyn Bagel, I had the Leo, husband had the Brooklyn and Cubsta plus baker's dozen bagel and Knishes all tasted great

We ate here every morning on our recent trip to Vero.. it really is that good. We enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings.. lots of seating inside and outside. Lots of flavored creams for coffee. Food and drinks were consistently delicious.

Favorite place to eat breakfast when I’m in Vero/Sebastian. Delicious and reasonably priced. Don’t love the coffee, but everyone has different taste there…
The Taylor ham and egg is incredible, and my dad loves their blueberry muffins.

Yummm. I love me some bagels. This place has awesome iced coffee and is a great stop for breakfast or lunch real quick.

Excellent bagels, but if you order a bunch and don't finish them. Put the bagels you're gonna eat in the microwave for 10 seconds with a small cup of water before toasting them. Otherwise the bagels will be very hard after toasting the day old bagels.

Real "Brooklyn water" bagels

Cool little spot. Fresh idea showing how the bagels are made. Great tasting too. Coffee is excellent. Enough parking. Pretty quick service too. Pricing is pretty much in line with what few other bagel serving places offer. There isn’t a ton of seats so larger parties should be aware of this. It’s self seating.

Very good bagels - probably not THE number one best most legit bagel out there - but a great chew, good flavor, and fresh. Breakfast sandwich was great, fluffy eggs and not at all greasy.

Rounding up for the great customer service - doordash was bugged and not letting me choose what bagels I wanted in my half dozen correctly, but it was the only available option for delivery. So I thought I'd call in and let them know my name and which ones I actually wanted. Having never ordered from here before, I figured there's maybe a 50/50 chance of the person answering being either confused or unmotivated to help. However, the person who answered (on Sunday 11/22/20 around 12:30p) immediately understood and took my order, which made it to me exactly as I described.

REAL Bagels
I've had bagels in Brooklyn as well as the other 4 boroughs in NYC and these taste like they came from their namesake. Sooo much better than the white bread when a hole in the middle that I have gotten from so many other places.

These bagels have glorious gluten and plentiful toppings I am partial to the sesame seed version. Recommended

Having grown up in NJ - I am acutely aware of the importance of the water when making a bagel. And, sure enough, the bagel(s) I had for lunch today were the closest thing I've had since leaving the state. Shout out to Josh and the cook who both were extremely accommodating to us - and who helped solidify a new loyal customer.
