I’ve known Matt for several years and he is a gifted instructor. No matter what you’re age or current level of health or fitness may be - Matt can create something that will work to improve your quality of life. Welcome to PBC Matt! We are so fortunate to have you in our community!

I have studied with Matt for 20 years and taught at his school in Dayton, Ohio for 3 years. He is truly the Child Whisperer. I have seen him at work, managing an entire Kindergarten class, for their first TaeKwanDo lesson without raising his voice or loosing control of the group. His unique methods instill respect, self-worth, and, most importantly, a concept of self-defense that applies to mind, body and spirit.

Matt is the best! I feel so powerful and strong! He motivates you and makes sure you feel comfortable! Always comes with a good class! He always explains what you are about to do and why you are doing it! I’ve done other classes with other places but Matt is by far the best!!

Matt was awesome and very flexible. He worked with our crazy schedule. Gave us an intense workout that that helped us not only get stronger but stay in great shape. Very knowledgeable about fighting and experienced in his practices.

My kids are taking classes from Matt and are loving it! He is teaching both martial arts and skills that they will use throughout their lives, including how to communicate effectively with other. They are busy and moving for the entire class. I think their favorite parts so far are learning the bo staff and nunchucks.

Can’t think of a better place to go to learn and gain experience in self defense, fighting techniques and mental discipline. Matt will make sure you walk out of his gym a better person inside and out everyday which is all and more that I can ask for in a teacher. The amount of improvements I’ve made in just a month’s time is astronomical due to patient teaching, plus various amounts of life lessons and disciplines. Go check it out!

My kids attended a class today. Matt, the head instructor, is a pro with kids! He’s also great with adults and practical self defense. Can’t recommend highly enough!
