Secluded and relaxing. This is a place you'll keep coming back too. Conveniently located in the center of many activities. Fishing, boating, hiking and many events, parks and springs to enjoy just minutes away. The park owners are a great well of knowledge about the area and will make you feel right at home. Try to book early cause the place can be booked quickly, this place is a 10 out of 10 recommend. 👍👍

Brent and his wife are very friendly and helpful people. I highly recommend their RV park. The location and price are beyond reasonable. They were all out of spaces and let us park by his barn where we had electric and water, when we left he provided a dump tank for us. Great service and great people.

We have been staying at Shady Oaks for almost a year . Brett and Theresa are awesome hosts and are always on hand to lend a hand if needed . We are mainly weekenders and I would say we absolutely love it . The full time residents we have made friends with are fantastic good hearted people . It is a great location for hunters or fishermen coming into cedar key . The camp ground I would say maybe does not have “ kid” activities however there are/ were kids in some of the campers . We have been very very pleased with our experiences here and would highly recommend . The people here are honest, friendly and good heart. 5 stars for sure

We recently stayed at Shady Oaks and enjoyed our stay. We were looking for a nice quiet place to spend the evening, and we got exactly that. The campground was not far from the main highway, but it was secluded and very quiet and peaceful.
We stayed in one of the cabins available; it was very nice. Solid construction, a/c and heat, a trundle bed, and portable toilet... everything was clean and well maintained.
The owner was very friendly and helpful.
We definitely recommend Shady Oaks for anyone camping!

I always look for the best value. This place fits the bill. Clean, safe, comfortable, and good price. Owners can be seen around the place keeping it up and making it better. Neighbors in the park seem to be great people and always offer a friendly wave. It’s close to Cedar Key for great fishing and Chiefland for essentials.

Really laid back RV Park. The Owners are Great People and very friendly! Was set to be on a lot here and found something with a little more to offer for the money! They have a awesome price for the setup for a month! Would strongly suggest this place for a quite laid back atmosphere!

Went and checked it out and am very impressed. It's just what we are looking small very friendly and quit. Planning on moving in soon highly recommended if your looking for something roomy and quit. It's also very affordable. I'm definitely telling some friends about this place.

Beautiful, clean, we’ll maintained, very affordable campground. It is easy in/out and set up with full hookups. It is also well lit at night. The owners truly care about their campground as much as they care for the folks who stay here. Close to Cedar Key, Manatee Springs and Chiefland where you’ll find restaurants for every taste and all the stores you’ll need including Walmart, CVS, propane, groceries and more! We will definitely return to our favorite campground in Florida! 10 stars!!

Love this place! Price is right and the space versus people is amazing. I would highly recommend Shady Oaks Campground to anyone. Brett and his wife are amazing and improving so much for their patrons. I will visit and use their facilities any time I'm in the area.

Shady Oaks Campground is under new ownership as of 01/16/2024.

My husband and I just stayed here for a week along with our 3 kids. Very friendly owners that were very welcoming. Affordable prices. We really enjoyed our stay here.

A little gem of a campground off the beaten path. It's run by nice folks here. They let me stay in a screen house so I didn't have to put up my tent tonight and take it down tomorrow. What a kindness!

Nice park a very nice stay quiet low keyed very good value . Would suggest Shady Oaks . The management very interested that you enjoy stay. Something not always seen everywhere..

The owners are very hospitable and kind. It's an older park that they are fixing up. We felt very safe.
