What a joy! A quiet place to eat the most delicious food! My server was the sweetest man. He was attentive. My food was hot and was freshly made. It came in a timely manner and you would spend more at a junk food, fast food restaurant. I have found my new favorite place. Thank you, Stephen. You are wonderful at what you do.

You'd probably be surprised to know that the restaurant inside the Nordstrom department store is actually very, very tasty. I know I was!

I wasn't really aware Cafe Bistro was actually worth stopping into until my dad took me there a few months ago. He always raved about the food. I thought to myself: "How can a restaurant inside a department store be THAT good?" I had figured it was probably a dumpy sandwich place where the food was mediocre.

Boy, was I wrong.

First off, the restaurant is located on the second floor. You give your order to a cashier and then you are seated at a table or a booth in the cafe. It's not particularly big, but I've never seen it super crowded so there's always been a place to sit.

The waiter brought us our drinks and then we waited a little bit until my dad's French onion soup came out. I got to have quite a bit of the French onion soup and it's some of the best I've had, maybe behind Berns but ahead of the rest. The cheese is melted to a crusty perfection on the bowl and the soup is just salty enough without the taste being too overpowering.

I usually order the salmon but I substitute the risotto for vegetables. The salmon is a perfect portion size -- not too big but not too small, either. All the vegetables I've had have been cooked pretty well and aren't too tough or too mushy from being cooked for too long. The butter sauce that comes with the salmon is divine.

I have yet to try many other things on the menu, and still haven't gotten around to the desserts at Cafe Bistro, but everything I've tried so far has been really tasty and basically everyone I've ever gone with has said the same.

Pricing is typical mid-tier pricing and service is usually really friendly and speedy.

Definitely worth the stop and a good alternative to the chain "mall restaurants" you'll find elsewhere!

I'm just here to say I have an upcoming trip to Palm Beach and I'm literally ubering to the Gardens mall and going right to Nordstrom cafe and ordering anything I can dip into the kalamata aioli. Also hoping my girl Ashley still works there bc she is just the BEST!

Enjoy the very nice dinner. I have the Churrasco steak. It was tender and very well seasoned

One of my favorite places for a fast, casual and healthy meal! I usually get one of their incredibly delicious salads. But love the French Dip too!

nice to relax at instead of the food court. A little pricey, but the food is really good. Even the beer selection is nice.
