The vibe here is very positive, kids ranging from 4-60 years of age come here for all the local needs. It's a community that helps people of all needs and ages! Tommy is not only knowledged in boards and the water ways but he is also very intelligent in many other things, he is a dad, a friend, an owner, and so much more. Him and his wife have worked very hard to make this place clean, fun, and friendly! Come check out the awesomeness that comes out of one surf shop! They have everything you need! The kids are very helpful around the place and they love to learn!

This shop is awesome! Right across from the pier where the waves are at their best and the board rental prices are unbeatable. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable and very helpful! I was driving through town and just felt like surfing for an hour or two , so I stopped by and rented a board. They had just what I needed to catch a few waves. Awesome little store!

Perfect shop with EVERYTHING you need. Tommy is super cool, rental wetsuits for the kids for $10/day? What?!? Ben Gravy and Hyperflex wetsuits were just there on Sunday 1/12/19 and it was epic. Waves we're nuking, the local crowd was heavy and on fire and Ben and Jordan are two of the nicest and down to earth people you'll ever meet. I highly recommend checking this place out. Nub nation for the win!!!

This place is phenomenal!!! Very friendly and knowledgeable. They gave our three boys GREAT instructions for their first surfing experience and all three were able to get up within the hour! We'll be back for surf lessons soon😁

You know how you are at the right surf shop? They're closed with a note on the door that reads "if you need wax or leash call me live 2 blocks down the road". Texted him he was there in a flash. He was also wearing a Greg Knoll shirt and that solidified this establishment for me. Thanks again Definitely coming back

Cool art outside a cool family man running the Flagler Board Shack. Tommy is an awesome guy with a great selection of surfboards/boogieboards/skateboards and apparel. I got some cool shorts, a hand plainer for body surfing and rented a board twice. I'm hooked doesn't sell he just loves people and has fun which makes for the most welcoming experience. I want to move here to hang out.

Great people super friendly reasonably priced inventory . The owner Tommy is a great guy he has helped the surfing community with fund raisers gives the groms (young surfers) a place to hang out and stay off the streets. I buy all my boards bathing suits and sunglasses here

I bought board on Craigslist and the guy that sold it to me suggested I go see Tommy at Flagler Board Shack to get some repairs done on it. Not a moment after Tommy said "Hello" he had poured me a beer, showed me around the shop and introduced me to his crew. The board repairs are beautiful and well priced, and his hospitality was flawless. Tommy even invited me to burger night at a local joint and allowed to let me set up my E-Camper and live in the shop parking lot for a few nights while I got acquainted to FB.

One of Flaglers best spots to find friendly locals, rentals, gear, good conversation, education and more. The Board Shack has an open door policy and works tirelessly to keep the kids busy and out of trouble. Not only do they make the kids (and others) feel at home but also help build their confidence in and out of the water. The owners and their staff focus a lot of their time and energy on creating family friendly events to bring our community, and the passers through, closer together. All feel sincerely welcome at the Shack! This is the type of "mom and pop" eatablishments we love and support here in Flagler Beach & what makes our town unique - shop local, support one another and share some stoke!

Tommy rocks and the love for what he does shows in his shop...... it’s been a while since I’ve been to Flagler Beach but when I do think of that awesome town there’s no way ever I don’t think about this epic shop.

I recently moved from the west coast of Florida and came across this shop. What a great experience, very welcoming atmosphere and all the lastest gear for my kid with great prices !! Since then I've been back several times and admire how much they give to the local community. Coolest shop ever !! Thanks F.B.S. !!!

Great service, friendly staff, and close to the beach. This family owned store is the cheapest in Flagler and is the only surf board shop to also rent out wet suits.

Great Shop, owner is one of the best!!! Was down in the area twice in 30 day period and rented boards both time. Couldn't beat the price of the rentals and service that went with it.
