For those exploring Deerfield Beach, merely a short 10-minute drive from Boca Raton, Florida, I highly recommend a visit to The Gathering Grounds Coffee Co. Why? It stands as the sole authentic coffee establishment in the vicinity. Offering a diverse selection of sweet and savory delights, their focus on coffee remains unparalleled. My personal choice, the oat lavender latte, though not as robust as preferred, was impeccably prepared and undeniably delightful.

We stayed at a place near Deerfield Beach and this was a wonderful and convenient morning stop for coffee and snacks! This small shop was within walking distance and very close to the main pier and other shops. We got the honey cinnamon iced latte and the Vietnamese coffee cold brew which were both delicious! We also tried the curry chicken and spinach and cheese empanada which were small but very tasty!

I LOVE this place. They have been my go to every morning while I'm here on vacation. My favorite latte by far was the Cinnamon Bun, but be sure to try the Deerfield Beach. It's just so pretty! The baristas are all so nice and extremely helpful. I tried other local coffee shops, but this one, by FAR, serves the best coffee. They made my vacation even better. ♥

We stayed in Deerfield Beach and got coffee here twice. The second time, we enjoyed a pork and pineapple empanada (at the recommendation of the barista) and it was so good! The banana coconut loaf was also delicious. They have coffee ice cubes you can request so your drink doesn’t get watered down too. It was a bit of a wait the first day we were there but quicker the second visit.

Awesome little coffee shop in the middle of the beachy Deerfield pier area. They have a small parking lot that makes it easy to run in and grab your coffee without worrying about the garage.

Tried a flat white and an empanada on this visit. Flat white was really good and the empanada was perfectly flaky. They’ve got a small area inside or a walk up window outside.

Love this little coffee shop! I had a Cinnabon latte it was so good! You can also rent kayaks and paddle boards, haven't done it but love that they offer it!

This place is a hidden gem. The pastries are amazing. I highly recommend the Honey cinnamon latte- I got mine iced.

Beautiful balanced shot with medium acidity. Do not go anywhere else for a real espresso in Boca/Deerfield.

This is the only place open early and with great coffee. They have so many selections and substitutions. The banana bread was incredible.

Right on the beach in a very nostalgic area (at least for me) plenty of food around here and again. It’s right by the beach! Service was incredibly friendly even though I changed my order a number of times because I couldn’t decide on which drink sounded the best. They all are fantastic. Would highly recommend on your next beach visit.

A great place to go in the mornings for coffee or pastries. The Deerfield beach latte was great.

Friendly staff. Make you feel like a local. Love the ice cube coffee add on. Keeps the drink tasting fresh all day. Iced caramel breve was a special request and it was phenomenal. Like a latte but with 1/2&1/2. Went many times on vacation.

Cute. Best coffee in Deerfield. Great customer service. Adorable shop to look around while you wait (which was not a long time at all). Lovely little morning date spot only a few hundred feet from the beach.

Great! This place was next to our hotel. Perfect location. Ordering online was easy. I had the iced mocha coconut latte and it was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend had a cold brew and tried the empanadas - he said it was all great.
I think the ice cubes in our cold drinks were made with coffee. Smart!

The Gathering Grounds is great stuff. I just got espresso and it was delicious. Perfectly pulled shots! Came in a cute, tiny eco-friendly to-go cup to save on waste. The prices are right too. The two drinks my wife and I ordered cost around $5. Same order at Starbucks would have cost around $9 and wouldn't have tasted half as good. The Gathering Grounds is just what I was looking for in a coffee shop.

Love love love this shop! They have a window you can order through if you wanna swing by before and/or after hitting the beach for a few. Whenever I visit DFB they are my go-to. All their baked goods are so fresh and I love that everything can be warmed up! The banana loaf is SUPREME and I always go with my regular ice oat matcha. They have everything you need for a good day on the water.

Perfect quick stop for coffee. Service with a smile to brighten your morning. I like black coffee and it was good. A lot of places (Starbucks) burn the coffee and hide it with sugar. This place did not.
