Great place

I bought a house August of 2023 and they were responsible for settling up my escrow. The house I moved into had tax exemptions in the previous year but not the year that I bought it. I was given $1100 in tax credit from previous owner and was responsible for about $800. They had warned me that the taxes would go up the following year and I understand that and am aware of why that would happen. What they didnt do is collect the other amount the previous owner taxes that they should have been paying without the tax exemptions. INSTEAD, I am now hit with last years taxes from previous owner and this years tax adjustment. Im in the hole $3,000 in taxes on a house Ive owned for 4 months (which doesnt add up because the total taxes for the entire year were $4,075 and I had already paid $800+tax credit from previous owner), and a mortgage of $500 more than it was 4 months ago. I have been calling but cant get a call back

Veterans was recommended by a trusted friend and realtor to handle a FSBO transaction for me. I gave them 4 months lead time to get all the documents together to ensure a smooth closing. Lack of communication and preparation from this company has cost us the ability to not only close on the property but delay the purchase indefinitely. They have zero remorse and did not handle the situation professionally. I would not recommend this company.
