Authentic Italian. Imagine your Italian Grandmother's home cooked just for you. It's that good. Of course, I might not be Italian but I do appreciate quality. I had a Cesar Salad and Linguini Specchio and a little wine. Grandma would be proud and so will you.

Had very good experience at this little Italian restaurant. Food is excellent, would definitely recommend lamb chops and one of the specialty of the day because it’s always so tasty. To finish dinner must have ricotta cheesecake with late, it’s simply to die for.

Delicious food, great service and fantastic ambience in a little, but comfortable spot in Surfside. You could be forgiven for believing that you had teleported to Italy because of how authentic the flavors were. And I couldn’t show the Ricotta cheesecake because we devoured it as soon as the very kind v and knowledgeable waiter moved his hand. Can’t wait to take more of no family there. Would recommend for a date night, family or just if you want a fantastic Italian dinner. Buonismo!

This place is delicious. We loved how fresh everything tasted. We happen to be one of the frist tables in for the night. I believe the owner sat us down right away. He got us started and than our server took over. This place is tiny but lovely!

Really great food and excellent service! The staff were on top of everything! They weren't afraid to move out of their zone as is often the case at many restaurants. Everyone there was very happy to help and always predicted the next thing we would want and had it done before we could even ask. Everything was really good, but the Tiramisu topped off the meal. By far the best I have ever had in my life!! Specchio is definitely on my list of places to return to the next time I'm back.

Specchio has wonderful wait staff that are friendly, entertaining, and skilled. We had an amazing meal and a great evening. Highly recommend the Sea bass dinner. Thank you Marco!

This may be my first online review ever. Me and the family went down to Miami Beach over the Thanksgiving holiday. Family of 5, three kids ages 4,9,16 and an Italian wife... I give you these details so you understand how difficult it is getting everyone on the same page.

We ate at Specchio Wednesday the 25th.. everyone loved it! Everyone basically devoured their food!

We went back for dinner every night until Monday when we left! The food is phenomenal. The portions are large. I personally tried something different every night, and enjoyed every single meal.

We got to know the staff and the owner, and by the 3rd night they welcomed us by name and of course an Italian embrace with a hug and kiss! (Masks on of course)

We will be going back every time we visit! I encourage you to not leave the beach without trying this gem of a restaurant. My wife's cooking is now the 2nd best Italian meals I've tasted! 🤣🤣🙌🙌

You won't be disappointed. I promise!

Holy amazing LAMB chops!! And don't even get me started on the spicy chicken risotto.... this may just be the BEST LAMB I have ever had. Service was amazing, food was incredible. The homemade Tiramisu is out of this world. If you are within 2 hours of surfside, you should make a trip to Specchio - This is definitely a hidden gem in Florida!

Amazing experience I had dinner here twice I will be returning very soon we need a restaurant like this all over the world. If you love Italian food this is the place to visit you won’t regret it.

I came here for the first time 15 years ago and it's always remained one of my favorite restaurants in Miami. I'm so happy to see that they've made it thru the pandemic, the food and service are still as good as ever. Marcos will wait on you and treat you like one of the family, while Giovanni will whip up some of the most delicious pastas, fish and carpaccios you've ever tasted. This is the closest thing to a true authentic Italian café that exists in Miami Beach.

My wife and I who are of Italian heritage were blown aware by the food and service. Marco and Mikela were fantastic and treated us like royalty on the last night of our honey moon by giving us a free desert.... We have now been back three times in two years and it just keeps getting better. We cannot recommend the Specchio Cafe enough. GO! You will not be disappointed!

We have been enjoying this Italian treasure for many years. The food is simply incredible and the Specchio team always makes us feel at home at their charming and cozy location on the main drag in Surfside. One tip - if you enjoy spicy, be sure to ask for the spicy olive oil for the fresh tomatoes, it is out of this world flavorful. Follow with a great pasta (or other) dish and enjoy with some wine. Heaven!

By far the best food I have had in a long time. Amazing service, amazing owner. I would 100% recommend trying this place, do not leave Miami without trying this place.

This restaurant is what it feels like going to have family dinner with your Italian grandparents. The food was authentic and incredibly good. I had the ricotta spinach ravioli and my husband had the halibut, and both were fantastic. The ricotta cheesecake was amazing! Spend your time here with a family owned business and do not waste it on the commercial ventures at the mall…..

There are Italian restaurants and there are THE REAL Italian restaurants. We had dinner at Specchio Cafe @specchio_cafe here in surfside yesterday and couldnt help to be transported back to Italy.
Its a very intimate space, with a very traditional menue in Italian translated in English 🥰 couldnt get more legit!. We had the Bresaola ai Carciofi e Parmigiano (sun dried cured beff, artichoke, parmesan cheese) to behing folowed by the Spaghetti Neri Sciue-Sciue (spaghetti made with black squid ink, shirmp, spicy tomate sause) for the Primi Piatti and the Bistecca alla Pizzaiola (Sirlon steak, tomate, capers with oregano and veggies) for the Secondi Piatti......it was delicious an now is part of our Local Restaurants must haves!
🍷we paired it with a Monte degli Angeli 2017 Barolo. Nice aromas of dried cherries, cranberries and spices this medium full bodies wine had its tannins under check making it very approachable even at this young age.

Amazing food and service! Marco and the team were top notch. They’re spicy oil is so good especially when added to the shrimp & squid ink pasta! A real “feels like home” restaurant. Highly recommend!

This is an intimate Italian restaurant, we had dinner outside which was super pleasant, the service was prompt and the food delicious. Will return for sure
