U-Haul Moving & Storage of Manassas

The staff was very polite, helpful and understanding. The GM especially helpful after key i used to lock my storage didn’t work and helped all she could to unlock it! Extremely clean facility and I highly recommend this facility for any storage needs.

I wanted to reserve a van, or alternatively a pickup, for the morning. The website said there were no vans or pickups available until 4:30 PM. So I reserved a larger truck at a higher price. When I went to get the truck, the app would not let me check in, so I went inside the office. The agent there who helped me said there were 2 vans and a pickup available, and checked a van out to me instead of the truck. Great service at this location! The website seems to have some glitches.
UPDATE: We just used this U-Haul location for another local move, and the staff here once again was very courteous and knowledgeable about the process of checking the equipment in and out, and got the work done as fast as the computer system will let them. Highly recommend this location.

I came to this U-Haul to have a repair made to the trailer wiring harness which was installed by another U-Haul dealer on Sudley Rd. about a month ago. Kelsey Morgan, the manager, treated me courteously from the beginning. She and the hitch installer David listened attentively and worked on my vehicle immediately upon arrival. Their diagnosis was the previous U-Haul installer failed to provide grounding to the wiring harness which caused the ABS warning lights, came on during our 10 hour trip to New Hampshire & Maine. I thanked Kelsey and David for their excellent repair work and their professionalism. I will never come back to the other U-Haul place on Sudley Rd., where the shoddy work was done. I will definitely come back to Kelsey and David who demonstrated competency and excellent customer service skills. I will share my positive experience with Kelsey and David with my social media friends. Keep up the excellent work Kelsey and David.

Brad Hickey is an excellent general manager. I had scheduled to put a hitch on my car and take a trailer when I moved last week. I was there for longer than expected and he wasn't able to put the hitch on my car forcing me to take a much more expensive truck and car trailer. Instead of leaving me with the higher cost, he brought the price down to a comparable level. Incredible service and I'm very happy with my experience.

This review is specifically for truck/van rentals. My wife and I have now utilized this location twice in the past few months for van rentals to move/pick up furniture and everything has gone off without a hitch (no pun intended). Granted, we primarily utilize the Uhaul mobile app & website so our interaction with their employees is fairly minimal, albeit they've have always been friendly and made sure I was good to go (especially if they app wasn't cooperating). Easier it seems than having to depend on Home Depot's first come first serve vans, especially when the cost difference is marginal if you're using the rental for 3+ hours. I would advise, as with any company such as this, to get the best bang for your buck and rent your truck/van for the longest amount of time within the cost tier e.g. it's the same cost for renting for pretty much the length of the day vs. a couple hours. Otherwise, this location has a good diversity and availability of truck/van sizes at any given time compared to what I've noticed at other locations in the area. Vehicles are always clean and typically newer. Will use them again in the future.

Everything was top notch! From Connor confirming my reservation and updating my pickup time to Brad coming in early and making sure the equipment was good to go. I came in soon after opening and everything was ready for me. In and out in 5 minutes. P

I've used this u-haul dealer for the last 2 years since we moved to Manassas. Manny has always been such a great help to me-doing all the work 😀 I visited my last time this Sunday when I went to pick up a trailer to move back to NC. Manny and Jerry got me all packed up and hooked up. Felt safe pulling away and a little sad that I won't see Manny again. U-haul had better appreciate their great employees. I do.

The man who helped us was very thorough very pleasant and professional. He wasn't pushy about the upsell offer and he covered everything so that by the time he was done explaining how everything worked we had no questions. Best Uhaul experience so far.

Recently rented a 9 foot cargo van for a local move and an 10 foot truck for a one way move. Both vehicles were nearly new, about 20,000 miles. Each was clean and ran fine. Service was prompt and courteous. No complaints.

Rented from this location several times now and each time the check in/out process was easy with the bills being what I expected. The customer service is always pleasant and easy to communicate with which are added bonuses.

I'm a regular at this uhaul because of my small business. I rent a truck every Saturday during the summer. The people that work there are always warm and welcoming. I have NEVER had an issue there. I highly recommend this uhaul.

Had to move items in to storage by myself and a lady that works for the company kindly asked to take a couple pictures. I agreed and after posing for a couple pictures she assisted me with moving some items inside. I’ve used this location a few times and each time the customer service is amazing. Thanx again.

Quick service. My Uhaul vehicle battery died, roadside assistance came immediately, even though it was cold as balls!

Rent from here all the time. Staff is friendly and even stayed late to accommodate a very last minute rental request for us.
