Very clean and tidy room service EXCEPTIONAL woke owner in wee hours of am he was so kind and reassuring as was his wife later on the day shift.
House keeping was kind and helpful as well!
Small-town friendly will book here anytime I visit my family.
Wish this family owned business much care and success.
My Aunt, Uncle and Cousin had stayed there sometime ago with a very pleasant experience as well.

The staff at this location are like family and are very accommodating. I've stayed here a few times because of how nice they are.

Pricier than the super 8 next door but definitely more quiet and the rooms are a bit nicer. The bed in particular was pretty comfortable to me.

For a 2 star hotel they do really well keeping the rooms tidy. In all honesty they do a fantastic job for ANY star hotel. We were pleasantly surprised and have loved our stay. The owner clearly takes pride in the hotel and it shows! From the front counter to the ground keepers, the staff is extremely pleasant and attentive. We will definitely stop here anytime we are in town!

We were disappointed there was no breakfast(not even bagged breakfast) but they sold us on "the POOL is OPEN"!! It was 1 of only 2 in all of town open for swimming. Lucky us!!
The staff was EXCEPTIONAL!! Matthew on the front desk was very helpful and friendly. He made it easy to travel with a Service Dog and stayed professional thru our whole stay. If they ever loose him, they will be losing a valuable resource.

Broke down 400 mi from home & arrived around 1:30 am after waiting 4.5 hrs for a tow truck & starving to death. Owner actually took me to a 24hr place to pick up some food. Absolutely unheard of for a motel owner to go out of his way to do!! Stayed almost a week & had no complaints whatsoever. Reasonably priced,quiet,clean,great place to stay.👍👍

I drove from Baltimore 12 hours straight to Douglas,GA. and the first place I stopped at had roaches and had a weird smell (not so Super!) I got a refund and went to the Jameson Inn, the place is clean and comfortable and the night staff was friendly. The price was reasonable too. 5 STARS! I recommend it.

Room was clean which is great... I was visiting a friend and was going to be showing up a little later than the regular check in time...called around to multiple hotels in the area and everyone was so rude to me!! The front desk here was super accommodating and helpful. Won’t stay anywhere else in the area!! :)

The rooms were clean. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was good. Most importantly we had lights and water. We had neither for 5 days after Hurricane Irma.

I travel to Douglas quite often for business and to visit family. I’ve always stayed at the Jameson Inn. The past 3 times I’ve stayed, I have been greeted my a young girl with long black hair and glasses, I believe her name was Bree or Breanna(sorry if I’m wrong). She has really made my stays a lot more welcoming was always very polite when I asked for more towels or had any questions about the area. Love her awesome smile and wonderful attitude! I normallly don’t post reviews but I felt like this young lady really deserved some credit! I wish more hotel staff was like her! Thank you so much young lady! Keep up the great work!!!!

Upon my arrival, the front desk attendant Bree, was courteous, informative, and knowledgeable. Very persistent in making sure I was satisfied with the type of room I wanted, where I wanted it and just too kind. I will be back.

Well we had a room full we had the slab the beds over in order to get a Queen size mattress because of the elderly that was with us in 2 young children The owner came in and was slightly at set because we have moved the beds but I told him we will put them back and he was fine with that and we put the beds back because they were very exceptionally good to US. If I had to stay anywhere else when a hurricane came through it would definitely be James in and I give it a 5 star because we were greeted and And traded with respect Not to mention the breakfast that was served awsome place

Trust me this is a great mid priced hotel, if you don't want to pay for holiday inn or Hampton this is easily #3 on the list. Clean rooms and the owners take alot of pride in the property.

Wonderful rooms... Polite lobby staff. God forbid you actually want to stay till check out though. Room service seems to be trying to get out early.

Great hotel located off of the highway fully remodeled inside brand new carpets comfortable beds flat screens table restaurants right within walking distance if you're in the area that's one of the nicest places to stay
