Kroger

Today my " check out " employee was Robert. He was EXCELLENT!The date is 1/16/2024 and the time was about 10:00am.

I love Kroger, especially the one in Forest VA. The produce is always fresh, and the deli has great choices. The meat counter has choices ranging from thick cut bacon, seafood, and nice cuts of beef, including those locally sourced. Speaking of locally sourced, they have a wide range of different items from around the Virginia area. There is nothing better than giving back to my neighbors. Everyone one is always super nice. I definitely recommend shopping here. See you down the aisles

Great produce section.. they have everything here. And the prices you can't beat.

Very nice store, came in on 8/25/21. You had all the items we needed, plus Sierra the cashier, was very nice and helped with my Kroger coupons. it's nice to have such good/caring employees.

Update: 10/14/22.... Went in and one of Mgrs. Helped me find what I needed ....her name was....Oliva...asst. Mgr. She was very nice and said she loves Kroger. I also talked to......Ben....in the meat dept...he is very nice and got me some nice steaks....keep up the goo work. Thanks...Greg Bedford VA.

Update 2/14/23...Came in was looking for some items, and Cameron, helped me. He even took to get my ketchup, now that is Great ..Customer...Service. What a good employee. Tell him thanks for me. Cashier, (Brenda) also Top Notch. Keep up the good work.

I commend on a consistent basis an employee in the Forest Road store by the name of Mark. I have been shopping at Kroger in Lynchburg for over 16 years and Mark is one of the kindest, most helpful, encouraging employees I have ever met. I first began to notice him in the meat department, then over in the Deli meats and later in the deli cheese area. He always has a smile and an encouraging word. Recently, my wife and I had been sick so my daughter, down in Suffolk ordered pickup for us at Kroger, Forest Road. After we drove up and notified them we were there out popped a smiling Mark with younger employee. He was encouraging, gracious and kind. As we drove away my heart was so warmed and thankful that we had again been served by Mark. We were very grateful. Mark is a tribute to the Kroger organization, no doubt a blessing and help to many. We enjoy using clicklist. Makes it convenient and they are always ready. If they are out of something they either sub something better or take it off your bill. Nice staff. This is a great store to go in as well. Nice selection and well laid out grocery.

Ashley in Forest pharmacy was excellent! Knowledgeable and very accommodating. Went above and beyond to make sure my prescription was taken care of. Thank you Ashley!

Aisles are well laid out and I have always found exactly what I needed. The store often runs specials and they send you coupons to further save you money. I also enjoy the discounts I receive off gas.

This location is close to my job and so convenient. The parking lot has a slightly confusing pattern, but adequate spaces. The store is clean and the employees are very helpful. I love the self checkout!

The deli is awesome. Ive got meat allergies. They keep a slicer open and clean for people like me. This allows the other customers to continued to be waited on instead of waiting for a slicer to be cleaned

One of those high-end Krogers I've always dreamed about having nearby. Huge prepared foods selection including sushi, salad bar, sandwiches, salads and more. Big organic and specialty foods selection. Cafe-style eating area in the prepared foods section where you can sit and eat your lunch. Beautiful store. Staff is consistently kind and attentive.

This is a nice Kroger especially for a quick trip for supplies. It is not as huge as the super center but it carries most of what I shop for. Produce is generally fresh and there are organic choices available. Hot foods and salad bar are available, and a well stocked deli makes quick meal prep and planning easy. Super cheese department too. Parking is easy and plentiful all handicap spaces are generous size and they also have special spots for expecting moms and moms with toddlers. They have order by phone and pick-up service. The shopping center also has fast food, coffee shop, and restaurants, boutiques and a post office.

This is a great place to shop. Kroger's often has sales like buy 5 save $5 and many other great deals. They also has a pharmacy deli and large selection of beer and wine.

Clean, well stocked store. The employees are always friendly and helpful. The sales are excellent. The produce is usually very fresh. The deli makes delicious food.

Staff is always very helpful and friendly! They also carry a huge variety of gluten free and organic foods- the most extensive that I've found in Lynchburg for a chain grocery store.

Whilst visiting Lynchburg from California, my daughter took me to this Kroger on Forest Road with the promise of food items from my native Britain. I know it's only me that has a basic need for mushy peas and ginger beer with my daily fish and chips, but this Kroger came through on both counts, and it probably reflects their overall greater variety of choices, as alluded to by other reviewers. Jolly good indeed!

I love my main Kroger store! Great prices on Kroger brands plus very pleased with their Private Selection. Their meat & seafood delight me!

This Forest Kroger is my favorite. Managers and stafg, especially in Pharmacy are the best. Like the small town pharmacy of 60 years ago. And great prices on prescription and Kroger bran f pharmacy items.

Great location only wish the Krogers would carry turkey hill regular, diet and diet decaf tea have to drive to Charlottesville to get it. Kroger carry other turkey hill flavors just not the ones listed above

Nice store with lots of food stuff. Has a salad and hot food area with seating. Organics as well! Clean and well lite. Lots of parking.
