Churn in South Side

I had the pumpkin cupcake ice cream. It was smooth and creamy and just pure ice cream delight. Staff was super kind and allowed for sampling of flavors as I was a bit distracted by the 10 really great sounding flavors they offered. It was between Oreo and Pumpkin Cupcake for me and Pumpkin Cupcake was a great choice. They have a huge menu with shakes, by the scoop, lattes, coffees, teas, and more and it’s pumpkin season so they offer lots of pumpkin offerings.

Love the variety of flavors they have here. So many fun seasonal drinks too. Plenty of space and fast service. Lavender ube latte was great!

Great selection and really friendly and knowledgeable staffs. Enjoyed the mint cookie crumble, black raspberry and French toast flavours. Definitely the sweetest ice cream I have ever enjoyed 😂

I am a coffee lover. I enjoy going to different coffee shops and trying the varieties that each place has to offer. Churn blew my mind with their coffee flavor selection. They have so many appealing flavors it’s really hard to choose. I got a s’mores frappe and it was really good. I didn’t have super high expectations because I believe it’s technically an icecream shop. I also really enjoyed the chic decor it gives the place a nice feel !

Great Local Coffee / Ice Cream Shop. Extensive beverage menu from coffee to teas. Delicious ice cream . I had a basic cold brew vanilla with cream and a slice of lemon pound cake. Staff was friendly. It's definitely a place to revisit often!

We have had some great dessert on this trip, but churn was easily the best home made ice cream I have ever tasted. They had a huge variety of flavors and tons of great options for milkshakes, sundaes, lattes, or lemonades too. I had salted caramel and black raspberry, but their flavors change regularly, so expect different options each time you go. My sister got their waffle cone and it came in a little cone holder which was a great extra touch.

First time and it was definitely delicious. Waffle cones and ginormous scoops! Mostly gone in the photo. Yum!

I really enjoyed my visit to churn. And I think you will too. I really like that they have both coffee and ice cream. Their menu has a very wide selection. I was also very pleased to see that they had non-dairy options. I got the nondairy strawberry chunk and it was excellent. I highly recommend you try it. I was very pleased with the service here. The staff was extra friendly and very accommodating. The service was fast and accurate. The atmosphere was very welcoming and enjoyable. You would definitely like it here. I can’t recommend this location highly enough. I would definitely come back here for the great service and atmosphere. You certainly will not be disappointed with this wonderful establishment. Definitely stop by if you are in the neighborhood. I definitely will.

The black raspberry ice cream was delicious! Extensive coffee menu and lots of fall flavors.

You must check this place out! Their ice cream is super delicious! We tried the oatmeal pumpkin cream pie, girl scout Samoa cookie, espresso sprinkle, and black raspberry. They were all so delicious. Their waffle cones taste freshly made and the ice cream is flavorful. Their ice creams have marshmallows, sprinkles, cookie, etc. mixed into them giving them extra texture and taste.

On a scale of romance novels to documentaries, Churn is the romance novel The Hating Game by Sally Thorne. It's a classic story of opposites attracting.

Step into Churn, where coffee and homemade ice cream exist side by side. Have a friend who loves coffee and another friend who prefers ice cream? Then Churn is the perfect spot!

You can smell the sugar from outside the shop, and once inside, the scent is absolutely swoon-worthy. The coffee menu is expansive, and the ice cream options are plentiful as well. All I can say is I'll be back because I enjoy coffee AND ice cream immensely.

Pro Tip: Take a boomerang video on the swinging hammock chairs tucked away in the back of the shop (past the bathrooms)

Ordered a cup of Kitty Kat Sprinkle that was amazing, and an Espresso Oreo milkshake that may be the best milkshake I've ever had. Couldn't reccomend enough. Quick service and super nice.

Great homemade ice cream. Many choices for flavors. A group of us went and had excellent service.

Lots of variety! You can get specialty milkshakes, sundaes, ice cream, add ons, homemade waffle cones, and coffee drinks. The ice cream tasted great. We ordered waffle caramel and peanut butter brownie both had plenty of waffle and brownie bits inside. Both had large portions in a waffle cone. They have vegan options as well. There’s a few seats inside and one small table outside and service was quick. Price was typical for the city.

It was an unseasonably hot and sticky Friday afternoon, 04/14/2023, along Carson Street on the Southside, and seeking a cooling respite, and a few too many grams of fat in my icecream, I ducked, no more like stumbled, into 'Churn'.
So many many choices, but I settled on a dish of churned chunk toffee icecream. It was the perfect antidote for my fevered and carb deprived, some might say depraved, state.
But there is another time and another place for that confession.
More than the icecream and the other hedonistic flavor delights, was my being gobsmacked with joy by the open door policy of 'dogness' in all shapes and sizes.
The icecream refreshes, but even more so, tails wagging, and the joy of human-canine bonds over treats for all.
So grab your dog(s) and make your way to 'Churn', for no matter what you procure, you will be in good company, as you refresh and reframe that some of us function with
"I Like Dogs More than I Like People"
But I will keep coming back to 'Churn', because dogs know a good thing and they bring their human companions along.

Had the Orea Cookie Dough ice cream and is was one of the best I’ve ever had.
