Big Island Burrito

Very nice place. I had a big island salad was very long but for us avocados were good very well done. I think they are more well-known for the burritos but I did not have one. They looked really big for my appetite.

One of my favorite places to grab a bite. The staff are very friendly and caring, if my order is ever wrong, they fix it right away and are very apologetic which I appreciate. Ingredients are high quality and always taste amazing. I love to get the BIB (Big Island Bowl). :)

Great spot, to fill you up with their huge burritos, many combinations, and my favorite, the plethora of hot sauces to top them all. The burritos and sauces to top, are pretty fresh and always tasty. BIB is clean, with friendly and attentive staff that are quick and always helpful. May 2023

Very good tacos and quesadillas! The staff was really friendly and forthcoming, the soda was refilled practically without asking and there was no extra charge for that! There was also an assortment of hot sauces for free to use, all of which tasted really good

If you want an amazing burrito in Melbourne this is your spot ! I came here with my dad and it was honestly one of the best burritos I’ve had and I’m a chipotle connoisseur. You can even get your burrito smothered in cheese and they have many more options and sauces as well. It is also pretty reasonably priced and the burritos are huge. I would 100% recommend this great burrito spot to anyone!

The wait staff was on point and fun. The food was ok missing just a bit of flavor. We had the shrimp Chimichurri tacos.

We have been coming here since for over 10 years, and in all those years the food has still held up and are to this day the best burritos I have ever had! Not to mention everyone working there is just wonderful and kind. I have always highly recommended this place to people I know, and will continue to do so!

Best place ever! I’ve been there for years and has always been good. I only order 1 thing because you can’t go wrong. Definitely give it a try.

I’ve been going here since I was a little girl, and today took my niece for the first time and it was a very nostalgic experience and it was as good as I remembered it.

My niece has a small accident and the manager and server were super amazing and understanding of the situation, I will definitely be coming back!!

Can't beat the value at this place. HUGE burrito, 3 beers for under $20. Their daily specials are always a great value. Truly massive burrito and it was delicious. I had the buffalo shrimp. The service was very slow the night we went but only because 3 or 4 big groups arrived right before us. Usually the wait time for food is average.

Lovely local burrito joint with some good beer options. Great post beach spot to hit! Very friendly staff and nice decor and vibes! Prices fair and good portion size. Love the hot sauce tray.

All around an amazing place to eat, chill, and enjoy a drink or three. I’ve seen the previous comments, both good & less than good. I wasn’t deterred. My girlfriend & I came here to try it and were genuinely impressed. I know “it’s just a burrito”, but the food here is legit-legit, and I will be returning next time I’m in the mood for some badass tacos & burritos. Right on guys!

Great staff, good food. Great location. This location use to be my Grandparents old sub shop called PJs Subs. But Im glad I grabbed lunch here. In memory of my grams. Will definitely come back.

Surf and Turf with the CLV is AMAZING! First time eating here. Hubby ordered to go and was out in 30 mins. Everything is fresh and delicious, will be back again!

Updating my review as of 07/2023. Went in for one final BIB meal and was pleasantly surprised. The updated decor created a really great atmosphere. The surf videos and music feel reminiscent of the old BIB. The servers are fantastic, as always. Thankfully, that will not be our last meal at BIB. I'll be happy to return and enjoy more burritos. As to the owner's comment, at this most recent trip, my burrito was absolutely filled with meat (in a good way) and was worth every dollar.

I'll never understand why someone buys a successful restaurant and changes it so much. This place used to be very chill, island vibes with decent music, and fantastic food. I gave 3 stars because the food is still pretty good. The vibe is a total 180 and no longer feels like "big island" burrito. The owner is mean and condescending in his responses (I'm sure I'll get a rude response too). The prices have skyrocketed while the quality and portion sizes have gone down. After 2 decades of coming here it feels like BIB as I knew it is gone.

One of my favorite staples when swinging through the Melbourne/Indialantic area. Having everything made to order/customized to your specifications is a nice touch and I've never had a bad meal there in all the times I've been. The amount of food you receive for the money is excellent and well proportioned in my opinion. Wear some shorts/pants with elastic bands if you intend to eat your whole meal and have drinks with it!
