I came in today because I had bought the wrong size jig hooks, the Guys at the counter directed me to talk with mark there in the fishing section, Mark went over the Top helping me and getting what I was after.
The guys there are always helpful when I come in, and always ask if there is anything they can help me find. Great staff, thanks again Mark for your help.

Inventory was better than previous trips. Always nice not paying sales tax when in Oregon. Staff was attentive, another pleasurable visit.

I went to the store today trying to buy some salmon fishing gears. I’m interested in fishing but don’t know anything about what I need for salmon fishing. The salesman was very helpful in helping me finding the right gears and setting up them for me. When he learned that I am a visitor to Astoria, He told me what licenses I need to fish in Oregon and where to go salmon fishing in Astoria. He was so knowledgeable and patient. I was so happy to have his help. I highly recommend this store. Sorry I forgot to ask for the spelling of the salesman’s name, but it sounded like “Kody”

Went in for fishing gear this weekend.. Leo was behind the reel counter.. and made our visit a success. His knowledge, willingness to help direct us AND spending the extra time to actually set up our gear was beyond amazing. Leo, you have a gift! Thanks for the fantastic customer service!

They have always had what I have needed and the best thing of all their inventory is not affected much by the rona. Their prices are very competitive and have great sales on products needed for the season, I have never visited the Astoria store but I have done business with the store in Charleston, great people, lots of product knowledge and friendly, it dont get no better. 5 star service

I walked into Englund Marine & Industrial Supply 3 minutes before close and went straight to the counter. I said, “Hi. I’m not from around here and I’ve never been fishing in my life. But I’m a photographer and I need to stand in the water up to my thighs and I think what I’m looking for is something called ‘waders.’ I know you’re closing in 3 minutes. But I need to take this photo at 5am and the tide is ruining the shot for everyone who’s ever tried. I attempted it two weeks ago in shin deep ocean but I definitely need it when the tide is thigh deep. Is it possible to make this happen in..... well... now 2 minutes? Pretty please?”

Not only did they get me in and out of there without making me feel like a fish out of water in their store, they gave me numerous options and taught me a thing or two so I had knowledge before making my purchase, and then we even chatted about the cashier’s upcoming tattoos he’s getting with his fiancé after my sale was complete for a few more minutes; so I didn’t feel rushed at all!

I’m not from around here. I’m staying in a hotel. They didn’t have to help me. And they sure didn’t have to be that kind. I’m in a mask with sunglasses and a baseball cap with jeans and an oversized sweatshirt and gym shoes on. I’m impressing nobody today. This was just solid, warm, and wonderful customer service. A few extra minutes out of their lives that could mean the world in mine and my business.

Wonderful store with everything and more a guy or gal could ask for. Have everything for fishing, boating, and construction. Truly a one stop shop. Customer service has been great every time I have been. Would definitely suggest stopping by here.

This is by far the best marine and tool supplier for over 100 miles. Helpful staff, huge selection, open 7 days/week, excellent prices,and right here in Astoria. Even in Portland,you would have to make 3 stops to cover all these bases. Love this place.

I stopped by to pick-up a recharge kit for my self-inflating life jacket. I was happy to let the staff apply it to my life vest for me! Thank you!

These guys saved me while in a tough spot. A few weeks ago, while traveling to the Oregon coast in our coach, the 12v cable from the alternator to the starter had a problem and needed mending. It was larger gauge wire than I could find at the auto parts store. I was nervous in a small town like Astoria I was going to be out of luck. Quite the opposite! These guys had all the parts I needed, and the staff was very helpful in making sure I had everything to be successful in my repair. Embarrassingly, I have forgotten the name of the employee who deserves all the credit. I do recall some chili peppers on his face mask. Thanks again.

This place is an amazing warehouse of boat stuff. Fishing stuff, pretty much everything you could need. They get a lot of commercial fishermen in, and the inventory reflects their diverse needs. They carry materials for fabrication, paints, SS hardware, boat electronics, crabbing equipment ( and not just crab pots), rope in sizes you won't find anywhere else. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable., Plus very helpful.

Always go to this place first. I've found it to be great for all my gardening, landscaping and tool needs. Sometimes even cheaper than Home Depoe.
Check out the line of fish nets. Absolutely perfect for protecting against bird problems. And better than bird nets, as birds don't get caught in these and die.

Great place, staff very helpful and knowledgeable.If they by chance don't have what you're looking for ask, they can order it most of the time.

Stopped in to pick up crabbing supplies. The day was windy and water was rough, this ruled out our planned location to crab. Mark not only helped to find what we needed but also helped weed out what we didn’t need. Helped us to find an area to crab that was less exposed to the wind. We made 4 pulls with 6 pots, 48 large legal Dungees. Thanks Englund Marine!

Has a wide variety of clothing options to help keep you dry and this rainy pnw a support local fishermen and honestly have a wide variety of products for both your ordinary fisherman to your big commercial fishing boats. Staff here are very helpful and knowledgeable about their product

The clerks were all responsive to my needs. I look forward to my next shopping trip there. And since I enjoy working on boats I will be back soon. I'm sure. Ty

In my experiance, lacking Local Experts, means there will be very little to Experiance anywhere, other than a plastic pond dirigible. Being Industrious Professionals, be sure to wipe your feet before admiring thier floor.
