Baker's General Store

if they dont have it, you dont need it. its as simple as that, their homemade pastries,donuts and pies are what makes this place special. grab your roadtrip grubs when passing thru sunset highway.

The deli here is a (must stop) on the way to the North Oregon Coast! Excellent bakery and deli. I especially love the Cinnamon Rolls, Sticky Buns, Brownies, Weiner Wraps and Home Made Chili but they have many other delicious things as well. I have been stopping in here for over 30 years.

Great for stopping to get a snack and with so many baked goods and deli stuff you really can't go wrong

Such an amazing store! They have a little bit of everything.. from groceries to hunting gear, you can find it here! And their bakery is to die for! I highly recommend their cinnamon rolls! The outdoor aesthetic is so pretty with all their gorgeous flowers!

The store was incredibly quant with everything that you could possibly need on the way to/from the ocean, the only sad part was that it was not on our route home. The homemade goods at the counter, especially the cookies, are AMAZING, and the staff was beyond kind.

As a POC I felt completely safe and at ease at this one off general store in the middle of nowhere Oregon.

This place is great! Open early for coast road jaunts, reasonable prices and awesome baked goods. By Portland standards the coffee is drinkable but not spectacular, BUT it’s better than any other place between Hillsboro and Cannon Beach or Seaside.

One of the best hidden gems, when they have their tornado cake don't hesitate!!! everything is absolutely great amd old school. very friendly and reasonable prices for a some goodies to go, gotta get there early some days before all the good stuff goes first! also the inn next door is a cute little spot as well...

We stop here every time we go to the coast to get cookies and donuts and pastries. Everything is delicious especially the berry scone we got tonight yuuuuum. They have good ciders and local artists products too. We always look forward to stopping here for the baked road snacks.

THEY HAVE GAS PUMPS! We bought nothing but gas, but it smelled nice and cinnamoney inside and the gas saved us when we thought we were going to run out. Thank you!

We drive from V-town to enjoy the carmel pecan rolls and to soak up the ambiance of this wonderful treasure. The store is well stocked with everything. Support this landmark store when you're driving to the ocean.

They have a delicious deli. I love the cookies, the salads are fresh, I like to stop on the way to Portland and grab chicken fingers and the other goodies. It's also a really cute store, sort of has that step back in time feel. There were a few times it saved me when about to run out of fuel too. Whew! There is a nice variety of things on the shelf for shopping for your trip to the beach and also worth making a special trip to grab lunch.

Very kind clerks saved my backpack which I left in a porta potty at the rear of their store. I was already 40 minutes away when I realized it. It was during a busy time of day, and they quickly checked, retrieved it and kept it safe for me until I drove back for it! They.saved my trip from turning into a disaster! Thank you!

Really cool old building. Has open ceiling with huge rough sawn beams. Very clean restrooms. The whole place is usually spotless & Considering the massive amount of floor space that's here for an old time general store. They really care about the overall appearance. The employees are awesome too! It's one of those places that you always feel good about visiting. Even if your group stopped to take a much needed restroom break. This is the place. I will always feel welcome and at home here!!!

I absolutely love this place! 50 cent cookies obviously made with love! I snagged 2 of the sticky buns and fell in love. Their pizza looks really good too. Amazing prices too.

Not just an amazing fuel and treat stop! The folks at Baker's were kind enough to bring us some gas when we ran out up the road a ways. Can't say enough good things about Baker's and the people that work there. Their baked goods are also excellent, we'll be stopping by Baker's every time we pass through the area!

I always love stopping by this place when I traveled from Portland to the coast. Such nice workers who also seem to enjoy their job and the people they work with. Makes a difference in your day. If you know you are going by this bakery make sure you order a pie the day before to pick it up along the way. It will be hard to have it last until you you reach the coast or whatever your destination may be. Thanks bakers!

Love this place. From Portland to Newport Beach... this place adds an extra 45 minutes but is scenic (unlike I-5) & we can hit this sweet deli for amazing car food & of course treats for the picnic at the beach!
