I just want to thank Mike for not only being very professional but ALSO KNOWING WHAT HES DOING! A great and very trustworthy engineer! I'm from Northern California and moved to San Diego a few years ago, so finding a quality studio and engineer was very important to me moving to the area....I came across Eravox studios and haven't been to another studio since. The vibe of the studio is amazing and very chill. I love recording at Eravox studio and highly recommend anyone in the area to check it out!!

Mike Mcconaghy at Eravox studios is the most talented engineer I have met after recording and playing in bands for 20 yrs. I don’t trust anyone else to record, edit, and mix my tracks. I play guitar, bass, drums and also sing, write, and produce songs and Mike absolutely nails the tones that I want for every instrument and gets it done in a timely fashion making me sound perfect and of radio quality every single time. Manually editing audio can take a lot of time and cost a lot of money with an engineer that isn’t fast and efficient. Mikes editing skills are the fastest I have ever seen and he’s the only person I trust to perfectly edit my tracks to radio quality and get it done in a timely fashion. He has such a great ear and I can’t say enough good things about him and his work. Mike is a master at his craft and will produce hit quality records for you out of Eravox Studios. The studio is also very comfortable and I have the best time every single time I’m there. Can’t thank Mike enough for the experience and the magic he puts on my tracks. Mikes a Legend!!

Even life lessons like improving confidence in myself and in my work. My music has gone from amateur to professional sounding in 3 months! Eravox is the first studio I've ever recorded in, and Mike is the first engineer I've ever worked with and from our first session I knew I didn't have to look any further because his talent and experience is on point. This is a VERY good studio! The session is always ready to go as soon as I show up and they are about their business. Mike will definitely make sure you are always comfortable and will definitely give you proper feedback to get the best sound out of you. This studio is perfect for anyone starting out as well as anyone who’s already been around the block. Not by any means a strict environment And Mike knows how to work with you when you’re unsure to keep your creativeness flowing. Something as simple as having some water for you or tea made to keep your voice well goes a long way with me. 100% recommend

Mike and Joe really knows their stuff when it comes to equipment. They can help find exactly what you need to make your sound come to life. Mike has access to so much great gear. Mike will work with you to help you get to the place you need to be with your sound. You will not be disappointed working with Mike. He is very encouraging, and he has great ideas to improve what you already have. I think he is priced very fair for the market and for how hard he works. Mike is hands down the best at what he does. I’ve been going to him and only him since day one. He has helped me in more ways than just recording. He has helped me open up as an artist by expanding my knowledge on music. I am more comfortable when it comes to writing/recording music because of him. He can guide you in the direction you’re attempting to go and even at times do his own thing that ends up fitting perfectly with what you're doing. Mike has been absolutely amazing. First met him at my church working with the audio department. When I wanted to transition from usher to playing bass in our band, one of our audio techs suggested learning from him because he plays a plethora of instruments. He's taught me everything from notes to chords...scales to modes & shapes and so on. And he's been patient and encouraging every step of the way. Great teacher, Great Guy!!!

Before I came here I had little to no knowledge on how to make beats as well as the recording process.
When I got here I immediately layed down a track with Mike’s guidance. There is no doubt in my mind that I can make a beat to the best of my ability but I also know there is always ways to be better. I also was able to publicize my Dj business here at the studio better than I have before.
The tools that you will receive at Eravox Studios and with Mike will help tremendously with your future success as a musician in this industry. I strongly recommend you guys see Mike if you want your musical ventures to reach that next level.

I've been taking drum lessons with Mike for a while now and he's helped me improve so much. I think the thing that sets Mike's lessons apart from others is that he's not teaching from a book and making you run drills the whole time. Instead, he tailors the lesson to what he thinks will help me develop skills I need or things I WANT to work on while still keeping it fun and engaging. Furthermore, he makes sure to tell me why we are working on what we are working on and how it fits into the greater picture. If you are interested in taking drum lessons, definitely consider taking them here.

Amazing Studio ! Got all the gear necessary for good high quality recording sessions. Mike and Joey are amazing engineers there as well, and amazing people to work with! They both have taught me a lot in the time I was there, the sessions are always fun , and you can have the peace of mind that you will have high quality recordings, and at the end of the day thats why we do this! Mike was SUPER cool and sweet and made my sister and I feel really comfortable and welcome the whole time! His studio is super comfy and cool! The recording session was a lot of fun and he let my sister wear headphones so she could be apart of the experience as well! He definitely seemed like he knew what he was doing and was happy to answer any questions we had and explained a lot to us that we didn’t know about, like the details of recording and what not and explained to us step by step what he was doing all while keeping fun conversation! His skills are insane and he was able to edit everything and make my audition so quick for the time we had and what it was and made it sound great! I would TOTALLY recommend him to anyone, and I definitely plan to go back to him if I ever need to! Overall he’s an awesome, friendly and professional guy who gets the job done! Not to mention he was super quick to respond especially since I had messaged him pretty last minute for a very last minute audition over a holiday weekend!
