Coyne's Restaurant & Bar

It was our first time eating at Coyne's Restaurant & Bar. The food was fabulous. I had the lobster bisque. It was so good. My hubby had sea bass. It was thick and yummy. Our waitress, Chrissy, was so sweet and gave excellent service. The building is lovely. The restaurant was packed. Everyone looked happy. We will 100% be coming back. Fine dining and excellent service.

Coyne's restaurant provides a good balance of quality and affordability. The food is high in quality and reasonably priced. The desserts are particularly enjoyable. It's a solid choice for those looking for a great meal in a great atmosphere without paying an arm and a leg.

We had a great experience here. Our server, Alexandra, took great care of us, and the food was cooked perfectly, and seasoned beautifully. We both had the 8 Oz. Tenderloin steak with Rosemary Mashed Potatoes 🥔 and Green Beans. The Lettuce Wraps were excellent 👌 as well. Looking forward to returning and enjoying a few more margaritas also.

This was our valentines date night! The staff was super friendly and had good knowledge about the dishes being served. Our waiter’s description of the Red Curry Shrimp was spot on.
One thing we noticed at Coyne’s was how the staff helped each other out to make the customer’s experience that much better!
For the price compared to others this place is a deal!!
On top of all that the food was excellent! The presentation was well thought out, temperature was perfect and the flavors compliment each other well in the dish!
One downside was the food was so good we did not get the opportunity to take photos!
We definitely will be coming back!

Great upscale yet relaxed vibe. The bar area is comfortable and inviting. Service was excellent, food was been better. Their take on 'chips' and guacamole is refreshing and delicious. I definitely recommend giving it a try. The scallops were phenomenal! I will absolutely be back.

First of all, I had to ask Coyne's is pronounced (Coins) ......Christmas Eve will be our 3rd year here in Meridian. My wife and I gave this place a try it was our first time here everything was outstanding food, service, and drinks all just perfect.......we will return......please give it a try....if this helps please give a like 👍.............

Coyne's is an excellent restaurant with delicious food and a fun and inviting atmosphere during all seasons. We've eaten outside in the winter and there's plenty of seating, heaters and a roaring fire. The outside is also shaded during the hot summer months. The menu has an excellent variety with plenty of delicious food for all tastes. The service is friendly, plenty of parking an upscale atmosphere both inside and out. The location near the State st and the Greenbelt is also excellent.

Great local spot with a large outdoor dining area that is really nice. It has a water view. The food is really fantastic. Guacamole with potato cups appetizer is amazing. We have eaten here many times and have never had a bad experience. Extra points if you can pronounce the name!

We dine here somewhat regularly, approximately 3 to 4 times a month. The service is top notch. Food is generally good. Unfortunately, today I tried the Butler's Steak & Eggs from the brunch menu. This was one of the worst steaks I've ever had. It tasted like liver. I was so disappointed cause this isn't a normal experience at Coyne's. I'm hoping management will see this review and be able to make appropriate changes so this doesn't happen to other customers. I didn't want to knock off any stars cause I've had many good experiences at Coyne's.

I cannot stop talking about our experience at this restaurant. The food was cooked perfectly and the Flavors of the food are hands down the best around. The drinks were flawless. We loved the music and lighting, the whole atmosphere was intoxicating. The service was among the best we’ve ever had. I cannot say enough good things about this place we are in love! Huge fans! Thank you 🙏! We will be back many times.

Amazing birthday reservations, easy communication while all birthday requests were handled amazingly by the highly attentive staff.
Many amazing appetizers and cocktails to complement all.
the whole family thought Coyne’s was great. High quality mussels around the table, with steaks and fresh sea options & a tasty dessert to finish off!

Enjoyed a well flavored and portioned dinner across meat, fish and vegetarian/Vegan. Dessert was fantastic! Not too loud and big seating space. I would recommend and big enough for large groups.

First time going here. Ordered the lobster pasta dish and the churro waffle and a drink. The server was AMAZING, very patient and knowledgeable with my parties many accommodations/questions as three out of four of us had dietary restrictions/allergies. My meal and dessert were beyond delicious. Very rich and filling! And the portion sizes were massive to me which made the price well worth it(I didn’t pay, but still!). I will say however, I was a little confused on the attire to wear. The person making the reservations said he called and was told the attire for Coyne’s was “business casual”. We all came dressed as “business casual” as we saw fit, only to walk in and see people wearing t-shirts and jeans, and, upon looking at reviews beforehand, also saw people posting pictures of the place/food…also with some wearing jeans and t-shirts. For the price paid, I would assume most would be expected to come as told over the phone but it sort of threw off a few in our party to be told how to dress only to realize it’s merely a suggestion. For these prices? For dinner? Y’all this place is a delight. Dress like you are experiencing a culinary masterpiece, because you are here!
Otherwise, I very much enjoyed everything about this place. Aside from the clothing conflict, the atmosphere and food were dreamy and very upscale feeling. I’d not only recommend this place to others but I hope to come back soon!

It was surprisingly warm and comfortable- even with all of the windows (gorgeous building). The food was delicious and the service exceeded expectations. We ordered lunch and had enough time to eat and get back to the office- so the entire experience was excellent!

This is a fun deserty vibe. The flavors mixed with atmosphere was a perfect combination. Our waitress was so helpful and knowledgeable. Food was fresh. We were a little skeptical about sitting on the patio during the summer heat but it was so perfectly shaded. We looked out at the water and even saw fish jump. It was a perfect spot!

It was our second time here and everything was fantastic. We were early enough for brunch and got a variety of food. To drink I got the Here and Now, it was sweet but not too sweet and definitely didn't taste the vodka in it but felt the effects after just 1 (I'm kind of a lightweight lol) my fiance got the basil and lemon bloody Mary, not only was it pretty it tasted amazing! My kids got fresh squeezed orange juice and drank every drop of it. For brunch we ordered the chicken curry chop, my mouth is watering thinking about it. The greens were super fresh and the curry wasn't spicy. My kid ordered the berries and cream pancakes with sausage, again it wasn't too sweet, had a great flavor and the sausage was some of the best we have had, it had a nice "crust" on it and a satisfying snap to it. I ordered a cup of the gumbo, it was packed with chicken and sausage, a bit on the spicy side but that's the way gumbo is supposed to be. All in all we were all super satisfied and look forward to going again in the future.

Oh, almost forgot, we were seated inside but regretted that decision once we saw that the patio was heated and had an excellent view of the fountains. The leaves are turning colors and that definitely added to the majestic scene outside.

My friends and I had a good experience at Coyne's for Sunday lunch. Our waiter, Michael, knew the menu very well and gave us great recommendations of food choices. We all ordered something different, but I would highly recommend the Ahi Nachos, they were so delicious and flavorful! It was a bit chilly but the addition of the outdoor fireplace kept us toasty.

Cocktails and food are always delicious! The food is fresh and always delicious. Ahi Nachos are our favorite but also love the curry wedge salad.
My husband and I love to share multiple courses, so we can try everything from appetizers, entrees, and dessert!!
Once we had a food issue, minor, but management took care of it, quickly.

I was amazed at the quality of the food. We had five happy hour appetizers (tacos, guacamole, flautas, lettuce wraps, and ahi nachos) and each one was terrific and super tasty. The atmosphere is also very good, not loud, and the service was stellar. I will definitely return. Seemed a generous pour of drinks, too. Very happy I tried this!

We sat on the patio and had a great time. the atmosphere was light and inviting. Our waiter was very helpful guiding us through the menu and drinks. The sauce with the flautas was so good, and I absolutely loved the beet and goat cheese salad. Our entrees were delicious as well and very filling. We'll be back.
