We ordered the hot olive medley, which was really good. My friends also enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms. The filet mignon came with a lot of yummy vegetables. The cheesecake was memorable because it was so good. Our server was super sweet and very attentive. We even had a private room to dine in. Definitely want to go back!

It was a snowy Friday evening, myself and two friends. Needed a place for dinner. Driving there in the snow and the snow covered trees was beautiful. We looked up unique fine dining for our area. The Clamber Hill Inn in Petersham, Mass. came up. We called, got a reservation and it was awesome. We wanted an experience of Fine Dining, we weren't disappointed. Food top notch. Atmosphere one in a million of a beautiful old antique ish Inn. Owner Deni greeted us, was very friendly. We had an adventure that was spur of the moment. We would definitely go again, and will recommend to others. I would love to stay there as well. Thank you for a great dining experience.

Absolutely beautiful and for the ending of our honeymoon. Over the top fine dining with the most romantic setting. The outdoor gardens and unique sculptures were amazing. The European suite with its gorgeous fireplace and yes a real wood burning fireplace that you could actually view from the boudoir the bedroom is surrounded by beautiful windows with gorgeous window treatments the owners Denny and Mark went out of their way to show us top notch hospitality I might add Mark the chef made the most tasteful decadent meal that I had experienced throughout my wedding and honeymoon thank you so much we will return for our anniversary we highly recommend the location

What a pleasant surprise! Loved the drive in to the Inn. Furry friendly Murray greeted us inside, verry friendly and sweet as was Host Demi. Is a step back in time and we loved the peaceful serenity! Dinner was amazing, fresh as could be and Cheg Mark clearly takes pride in his presentation! From the Shrimp Cocktail, crispy salads, French Onion Soup, Chicken and Cherry Mousse Ice cream… all was excellent quality! The Inn is very clean as well as the bedding. We are particularly fussy about clean bedding and this passed with flying colors! It must be beautiful in the Fall when all the greenery is filled in but the snow covered grounds are lovely! Thank you Deni snd Mark , we enjoyed meeting you both😊

We loved the stay here at the Clamber Inn with Deni and Mark - they provided kind and timely service throughout our stay. Breakfast was great each morning (they were also able to accommodate gluten sensitive diets) and the grounds are a beautiful setting for a weekend away. Would definitely look them up again on our next visit to the area.

My husband and I stayed here for one night only for our first wedding anniversary and wish we had booked a longer visit. The location is stunning and peaceful and the food was unbelievable...get the filet! I could have cut mine with a fork. So yummy. Deni and Mark made our stay so welcoming and enjoyable. We stayed in the European Suite and were welcomed with complimentary cognac, and the room was so beautiful and cozy with a working fireplace and selection of board games to play by the fire in lieu of television. As short as it was, we will remember this stay for the test of our lives, and hope to make it an anniversary tradition to visit 😁

We stayed at Clamber Hill for two nights to celebrate a friend’s wedding in the area. We had a wonderful stay! We stayed in the nautical room (some pictures attached) which had a comfortable queen bed with en suite bathroom, amazing fireplace (that we used!), and abundant clothing storage. The house has a fantastic homely feel with pictures of the hosts throughout their life adventures.

Clamber Hill has top notch hospitality - the hosts have lived in a number of different places and are very friendly and great conversationalists. We had nightcaps with he hostess in the evenings and were on time for breakfast on Sunday morning which was delicious! We unfortunately were not able to make dinner, but the menu sounds delicious and we love that they host fun evenings like whiskey & cigar nights on Wednesday’s, and wine nights!

Fabulous, homely stay - highly recommended. Thank you for the great hospitality - we’ll be back!

My husband and I returned once again to the magic that is Clamber Hill Inn and Restaurant. Like all of us during this time of anxiety and turmoil we longed for an escape from the "bubble" of our home. We found the perfect respite at Clamber Hill!! As always Mark and Deni and their sweet dog Murray cared for us with elegance, kindness and perfection.
We stayed in the Equestrian Room and awakened to the beauty and sounds of Petersham. During the days we would hike in the haunting beauty and "accidental wilderness" of the lost towns of the Quabbin. In the evenings we would dine on the gourmet food that Mark and Deni carefully prepared. There is truly no place like this anywhere in the country, combining the elegance of the mansion and the outstanding food, all surrounded by acres and acres of beautiful woodlands abutting the Quabbin reservoir. Most importantly is the thoughtful care that Mark and Deni provide. We were so thrilled that we returned only ten days later for another visit!!!

Mark and Deni are amazing inn keepers and hosts. Mark's skill as a chef comes through in all his dinners (we've dined at his restaurant for probably 20 years) and his B&B breakfasts are delicious. The European Suite was a perfect romantic retreat for our 20th anniversary. Deni was very helpful in suggesting local attractions that were off the beaten path and not too crowded. We'll definitely keep coming back to Clamber Hill.

Travelers, this is an elegant bed and breakfast. It is high-end and well done. The decor is outstanding and the folks that run it are helpful and nice. I attended a wine tasting there and they really did a nice job. It was a lovely evening and it was nice to find this hidden gem tucked away in Petersham. We recommend. Enjoy.

A beautiful experience. The food was delicious. I ordered the Haddock and my man ordered the duck. Both cooked to perfection. It was romantic and intimate. At one point we were the only two in the dining area. Made for a wonderful birthday dinner. Service was perfect. I highly recommend it. We will be back, and hopefully stay a night or two next time!

My friend Pam and I had dinner at the Inn on June 15, 2013. The experience was exceptional. Be sure to try the onion soup, which rivals the best you will find in Paris.
Deni was a gracious host and we enjoyed being greeted by Jack, dog in residence.
Courses arrived in a timely fashion, and we enjoyed talking to Deni about the inn and its history.
Even if you are not an overnight guest, be sure to take a walk around the lovely grounds and examine the various common rooms.
This is truly a destination restaurant. We will surely return.

A romantic and eclectic in with fine dining. In the woods of North Central Massachusetts, very well hidden down a long, tree lined drive. Superb selection of fine whiskeys & single malt scotch. A unique experience.

Truly a meal to remember. Clamber Hill Inn is an authentic out-of-the-way gem. The cocktails were creative spins on the classics, the artichoke spread was mostly artichoke, not the cheesy glop one expects. The Caprese salad had meaty, flavorful tomatoes and everyone enjoyed their steaks ( done just as ordered) and duck, in a delicious pear bourbon sauce. The freindly service was provided by one of the owners of the inn. She was informative as well as welcoming. Well worth the trip to this country inn.

Wonderful experience. The town of Petersham is charming, Clamber Hill is beautiful, the Charleston room was quaint and comfortable, the menu rivals any restaurant in Boston, and the whiskey, scotch, and bourbon selection is downright impressive. The owner Deni was the most gracious and attentive host. Clamber Hill Inn is the perfect staging place for a central MA get away and we will most certainly return.

This place is incredible! I am so happy that I stumbled upon this inn! I highly recommend checking it out! Mark and deni were beyond polite, breakfast was amazing and their dog Murray is a good boy! If you're sick of the city lifestyle, come here and enjoy the scenery! Worth every penny, ill be back for sure!

Great wine tasting last night! The appetizers paired perfectly. If you have not been to a wine or spirit tasting yet, please put on your bucket list and try one!

When we first arrived, it was like taking a step back in time. A beautiful building set back into the woods of Petersham. We got there around 4 on Friday and no other guests had arrived yet. I was greeted by Mark who was very welcoming. He showed us to our room and to get settled for the night. The room was gorgeous, it felt like we were back in the 1800's of Europe. They left a complimentary decanter of Cognac out and plenty of board games to keep us entertained. We woke up the next morning to a delicious breakfast. Fresh muffins and fruit, followed by your choice of eggs w/ sides, or their specials of the day. Saturday they served up Apple Pancakes, and Sunday was a cinnamon French Toast. Deni was an absolute delight. She was personable and gave us many good recommendations for activities to do in the area. We followed up breakfast with beautiful fall activities. Once we got back we had reservations for their dinner. The steak and haddock were delicious and the sides were all fresh and full of flavor. They had a great selection of wine, and other beverages. The desserts were just as good. If you are looking for a place to disconnect from the world and enjoy a relaxing get away this is the place for you. My only complaint was I didn't get enough greetings from the fluffy Murray.
