The Anchor

I went to The Anchor with some friends. We went on Tuesday which is the fish and chips special night. That is what we all had. I added a second piece of fish. For $8.95 you can’t get a fast food meal. The food was hot and fresh. The place was packed. Even with a reservation we had to wait a few minutes. It was well worth it. I need to go back another day and try something else!

we were a party of five On a Friday night. there was a big party of 15 people seated in this beautifully blue, colorful calming restaurant. As I walked by gleaming plates of food, I appreciated the detail that the chef created. As it became much busier, everything was managed smoothly, the food, abundant, and the temperature was delightful especially on a 93° day. The beachfront fans were cooling while tables were filled. The atmosphere is amazing. Food was delicious! The stuffed flounder and the fish tacos were outstanding! The owners and the staff make it look easy, but their hard work and tenacity tonight was exceptional experience for my table of five!

This place lives up to its reputation. They're not afraid to season their food. The trigger fish is great blackened. The bartender was amazing as well. We're going back for sure!

We went to The Anchor yesterday and it was PHENOMENAL! They were very busy (so you must BE PATIENT, people....stop being in such a rush all the time), but we still received fantastic service. The food was absolutely amazing. You could tell how fresh it all was. It's hard to find a place with such character and just downright great feeling anywhere anymore. We would drive from here in Kissimmee simply to eat there again and wander around this amazing area. I cannot say enough good about our experience.

A must place to eat local cuisine. I highly recommend the stuffed flounder. Brian, our server was fabulous. The view was great. Already ate half of my meal and said this is worth a picture. We went back on our last day. Tried the crab cakes, another highly recommended dish. Corine was our server this time and she was a gem. Thank you for the tasty experience. We will be back on our next trip.

I visited this past Sunday. This was my first ever solo dinner date, and I'm so glad this place was recommended! The atmosphere was very comfortable. Travis was very nice, and helpful with what to order. He and the rest of the staff made every effort to make sure everything was to my liking. The food and drinks were delicious! I even got a compliment on my smile on the way out. Great food, great drinks, great staff: you can't beat it! I can't wait to visit Flagler Beach again, and come back to try the rest of the menu! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Located across the street from Flagler Beach. Food was really good, I personally ordered the meatballs which were great, some of the best I've ever had. I also ordered the shrimp scampi which was pretty good. Everyone I was with enjoyed their food and the service was very good. Our waitress was nice and funny. Would definitely recommend, especially if you are spending the day at Flagler Beach.

Drinks are tip top, and trigger fish was amazing. In fact, nothing disappoints, except the parking situation. That was rough. Beach views available near entrance, but less so further back. If you are in search of a quality culinary experience, this is a great go.

Ask for Elsa and strap in for one of the most wonderful dining experiences!

Some friends and I came in to celebrate a project we finished and were shown to a table right away.

The menu has a good variety for everyone.

Everything was absolutely delicious, from the apps, entrées, and dessert it all was prepared perfectly and fast.

Elsa took excellent care of us!

It's her amazing personality, friendliness, and care that made the night so special.

The funny thing is, she served me at another restaurant where she delivered the same incredible service.

The Anchor has an excellent menu. In fact our entire meal was fantastic! From soup to dessert, every bite was amazing. Get the crab bisque to start. Sooo good! We ordered the fresh halibut over butternut squash and green beans. To die for, seriously. Save room for the hummingbird cake. It's big enough for 3 to share. OMG! Heavenly! We will be back .. often.

I have gone to the Anchor for many years. However today was not so good, The server kept walking by and ignoring me and my daughter. We were there for almost two hours to get lunch. Other customers were served before us: I did speak with the owner and she did comp our lunch. But the icing on the cake was that I got a beer after the comp and the server brought the bill. It was $4 and I put a $10 bill. He opened it up and slammed it down on the table. I left and took it to the owner. Did anyone ask if I wanted my change? No. Never going there again. Brian and Laura are great but today was way too much. Lastly, the bathrooms are not ADA compliant. They are terrible even for the non handicap person,

Stopped in after a doctor visit at the hospital, had the Seafood linguine in a light cream sauce (Seafood Americana) .... I should have taken a pic (I know I've said it before, next time I definitely will) I was pleasantly surprised, it was delicious & our server Brian was great. My Dad had the fried Shrimp & Sister had the stuffed shrimp, needless to say all of our plates were clean. Definitely worth the trip, so stop in if you're near by. 😋

The food, service and location are all great. Only reason I can't give it five stars for Atmosphere is because I think they need to upgrade their AC. It's always warm to hot in there and I'm usually a cold natured person.

We walked out of Tortugas because we were not happy and decided to walk to see what else was nearby and came across the Anchor. This place was amazing!!! The food was so good and delicious and the staff was friendly and great service. And the atmosphere soothing and relaxing. We will definitely be recommending the Anchor to family and friends!!

Amazing!!!! They have a singer on Wed pm. The staff and atmosphere are great. I would recommend to anyone wanting a great meal with many options to choose from. They also have a full bar and TV to catch the latest sports.

Took my parents here for a special dinner. My Husband had the Mahi Mahi with vegetables. Mom and I had the Stuffed Flounder with crab stuffing and dad had the Seafood pot pie. I have to say I tried everones food. It was all delicious! I loved my Flounder. We topped off our meals with a Lemon Martini! Highly recommend this restaurant with a great view of the Ocean.

Great dinner beachside tonight after the Palm Coast Songwriters Festival wrapped up. Decided on The Anchor Flagler Beach because they had reservations available on a busy Sunday night. We were seated promptly, libations came out quickly. We decided on Mussels, Oysters on the Halfshell (no pic), Grilled Shrimp, Crab-Stuffed Flounder, and Steak & Shrimp. Everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. The seafood here is some of the best in Flagler County, imo. New owners are doing a great job with this established restaurant. #flaglerfoodscenerocks
