Mohegan Restaurant and Bar

As central as it gets. Gets crowded but slightly off hours are ideal. Friendly staff and ambience. Nice selection of drinks, and a nice food menu. I had the blackened fish tacos with a beer and it was the perfect lunch. You will enjoy your time here. Recommended!

This restaurant had our favorite fish and chips on the island. Perfectly cooked so the outside was crispy and the inside was hot (and cooked!) which isn’t always the case. The clam chowder (New England style, not Rhode Island style) was also very good (and hot)! Three days later my husband is still talking about how good the fish was!

Came here with a group of 7. They could not accommodate outdoor seating for all of us, but we were able to sit on the patio in separate tables. We got the nachos to share, Cobb salad, fish tacos, and fish ‘n chips. The food was all delicious and tasted fresh. Our waiter was super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Definitely a great spot when you first enter block island!

When you have a long day at the beach and you need a MEAL to pick you up, this burger hits the spot! Look at the size of this! Excellent burger, great service, highly recommend!

This restaurant was amazing. We spent dinner, lunch and mother's day brunch @ Mohegan. Alexsandra(Alex) was an awesome bartender/waitress. She was right on point with everything and every meal was delicioso.....you have to stop in and try it. It's not a huge place so go at an off time.(3pm)
I had Mahi mahi tacos, Nachos & Breakfast Burrito.
My husband had Oysters Rockafeller, Clam Chowder & Fresh Salmon on flatbread with wonderful spices and dressings.

I love this spot, it’s my first stop off the ferry. The drinks actually have alcohol in them and the owners are amazing. The menu selection is amazing and you can’t go wrong with a choice and they have a great protected outdoor seating area.

Wow! The clam chowder fries were so good! My crab cakes were wonderful the aioli sauce really put it all together. My husband liked his tuna melt. Good service and beer. Can't ask for better.

Mohegan is one of the best restaurants on Block Island!!! It isn’t the Mohegan Brewery any longer and it’s under new management. Alex and Justin have really done a great job and have completely re energized the place. The food is fabulous and the service is excellent.

Chill. Tasty. Very nice upscale pub. Chowder wasnt all cream and butter, but much more delicious. Interesting flavors.

Nice cozy spot right across from the ferry , they offer a solid variety on the menu , and adult beverages. They were able to accommodate our party of 13 comfortably, and got the food out pretty quickly . On a side note , that mahi sandwich was by far the best piece of mahi I have ever eaten . The seasoning and sauce on it was amazing. I'll be back just for that . But over all experience was great.

Don’t fall trap to tourism on the Block, visit a local spot with convenience at Mohegan Restaurant and Bar, if you are looking for a great spot to rest after a long day at the beach then settle up at the bar with two gems: Elias & Alex- comfortable atmosphere, delicious food, great entertainment!

Excellent food and very friendly service with a view of the water. Food and drink prices are on par with the rest of the island. The AC a plus on a hot summer day.

Wonderful place! Seriously, the best french onion soup and clam chowder! Someone in the kitchen knows how to cook! Drinks and cocktails nice prices for the quality you get. Perfect family place warm atmosphere. The best part of this jewel of a pub restaurant in Block Island is the service. Everyone from the bartender to the greeter is just so friendly. It's our new home away from home friendly pub restaurant! We just love it! Highly recommend 🥂I wish there were 6 stars!

Stopped in after the ferry ride with time to spare before the wedding. We were greeted with warm and welcoming reception, our server was fantastic and friendly! Got the clam chowder and Blackened Mahi sandwich which were fantastic! Fish Tacos and steak flatbread were great

Service was fast and food was great. Got a “The Burger” and was pretty fired up. Great fuel for a great night. Staff was friendly and I can tell they enjoy their work. The atmosphere also got me pretty fired up with some dope furniture and stuff. Will I return: yup

The food is great!! But the atmosphere and the passion that you get from the bartender will make your night!!

Food was excellent and service was even better. Had the black and blue flatbread and some of the best wings we have ever had. Everyone we interacted with was wonderful and so accommodating from the moment we entered the restaurant. Would absolutely recommend and look forward to returning again!

This place is underrated. Their food is excellent and they have a well rounded drink menu. We have come for appetizers a few times as well and everything is delicious. They have a great bar area and an awesome front patio.

Mohegan Restaurant and Bar is my go to on Block Island. I have been coming to Block Island for forty years and the Mohegan is my favorite place on Block. Island. The new owners of The Mohegan (Alex and her husband Justin) are the friendliest and most welcoming restaurant owners on the island. Their beer is fresh and their food is awesome (The Salmon is excellent ). When you walk in Alex will greet you like you are long lost family and Justin will cook you a fantastic meal!! Go there and enjoy real Island hospitality.
