Cortez Clam Factory

I love this place. My whole family comes here OFTEN. The food here is phenomenal, I always go for a BLT. Their bacon is made in house and is a must try. Definitely a great place to stop for lunch or dinner!
I had a small problem with my ToGo order and Dave, the manager, and Christine went above and beyond to help me out. I'll definitely be back again.

Food was fantastic. Took my son and granddaughter for the first time. My son was disappointed because he loves fried clam strips and the Clam Factory does not have them.
Service was fantastic.

Nice bar... great food... not fancy. Go relaxed casual and fit right in.

Love this place! The Cortez Clam Factory is a great little local sports bar with awesome food. The Famous Crabby Balls and fish tacos are fire!! The blackened chicken sandwich and smoked wings are also amazing. We’re never had a bad meal.

A small out of the way little place. Food was great, waitress was sweet. We went mid day, was not busy. Was more of a bar atmosphere. We enjoyed it!

I had a great time there, especially listening to Koko Ray. His song choices were perfect, and his volume was great. It was so nice to be able to eat and have a conversation, while listening to a great performer. Hopefully, one day they will allow me to perform there.

It's a 5-Star dive, for sure!! They have their own smokers, and they know how to use them. The food is excellent. We've never had a bad meal there. Get you a seat at the bar where Mike is tending. He's a real pro, very attentive to all his customers. The place is super casual with regulars from all walks of life. We had the meatloaf today... SO good. Well done, Clam.

Great food!
Looked like a good time inside. We were seated outdoors, even though there were several open tables indoors. We did enjoy the outdoor area. Will return when we come back to bradenton.

Excellent variety of seafood and meat.
The atmosphere of the place is excellent, like a kind of bar or beach market, full of decorative details and with a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
The food is incredible, with very good fish and seafood dishes, and the addition of meats with options to eat them in unusual formats such as tataki.
The attention is very good and very friendly, and they are super fast in service.
There are usually bands playing live which is not a place to go if you are looking for a quiet dinner.
It is ideal to go with friends to drink beer and enjoy various well-prepared dishes

Arrived at our vacation rental and Cortez Clam Factory was right at the entry to our neighborhood, We could easily walk without getting on a major road so their location was perfect! Met Dee the bartender our first stop, she was awesome and quickly made us want to come back and hangout. Throughout the week we were there 4 times, each on a great time, food was great especially the chicken wings and crabby balls. Drinks were always cold and were never empty. Great place to hangout at NOT on the island, in fact we preferred to spend time there over anywhere on AMI. If in Bradenton/Cortez/AMI stop and spend time here, you won't regret it!

First visit. Food is amazing. Great service. Live band was playing.
We shared: grouper sandwich, came with fries (omg amazing), crab balls and clam chowder. All was hot, and delish!

This place is a gem! It’s very neighborhood like bar and restaurant. Reminds me of Cheers bar in Boston! They have great oysters on the half shell and I had whole bellied clams! I would only change the batter on the clams to a lighter batter so you can enjoy the full flavor of the clams. The French fries are great and seasoned perfectly. Our waitress/ bartender Christine was so attentive and friendly to everyone even though she was the only one waiting tables and making drinks. The Owner is a lucky person to have Christine!! Music Friday, Saturday and Sunday outside on the patio!!

Always good food, great service, fun atmosphere at reasonable prices and no wait. Wednesday night is Lobster special! Another favorite is the hogfish snapper. Never a bad meal!

If you have been to the clam, you get it. If you have never been, what are you waiting for! Good food, great people! Nate is wonderful and I look forward to seeing him. Food is great. Music! Geez! Get up and go! Do yourself a favor.

5 star bar food at its finest!!! This hidden gem is nestled in a small, unassuming strip mall. It was obvious this was a favorite of the locals when we walked in. The atmosphere is low-key and everyone is very friendly. We started with homemade potato chips with clam dip and crab balls. The service was great, and the appetizers were delicious. The ribs and bacon cheese burger were amazing!!! The burger was the best I ever had. The meat is custom ground with smoked bacon added for flavor. We will be coming back every time we are in the area for sure!

The owner makes his own bacon so if you are looking for a bacon fix this is the place the other food is great also. But this is wow bacon. Also key lime pie is top notch if your just here visiting don't miss this hidden little 💎

Quality service. Got the buffalo wings and they were amazing! So good we went back and got another order later that day. Was reccomended by a native. We were not disappointed. We'll be back!

I have been there two times and will make this a go to place. Grouper was excellent and the peel and eat shrimp were very good. I had to try the crab balls and they didn’t disappoint.

Awesome little place near the beach. Loved the beer battered shrimp, hubby had the steak sandwich and my son had the cheeseburger. Fresh food not frozen. Glad we found this restaurant, much better than AMOB in my opinion

This place has the best clam chowder !!! Pure comfort food for a cold cloudy day like today. The service is Awesome the atmosphere is fun. People hugging and smiling chatting.
