Winona Family YMCA

The staff and the facilities are, imho, top notch. At 60 I finally joined a gym and am enjoying every minute I spend there.

The Winona family YMCA is an amazing workout environment. The staff is absolutely amazing and extremely helpful and kind. They are patient and always willing to help. Jackie Goyette does an amazing job running the upstairs. She is friendly, patience, and is always willing to help you. Definitely recommend the Winona YMCA.

Winona Family YMCA is the best workout facility that Winona has. The 24/7 access is perfect for my wife and I as we can go and workout at anytime of the day!!! Beyond adult programs, there are a ton of kids/teenagers programs as well and all are welcome.

Front Desk was very welcoming. I was traveling through the area and wanted to utilize amenities. After signing the liability waiver and providing the membership credentials. It felt like my home gym vibe just better.

The new facility is my happy place! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The building is clean. All the equipment is brand new. The views of the bluffs are stunning! I have worked with the Personal Trainers for many years and they are all amazing!

I love the classes at the Ymca, the instructors are super nice and you get a good workout. They have also gotten some new treadmills that are really nice! The staff at Kids Corner are great with the kids too, if you need little ones watched while you workout!

The new facility is great! Swimming, basketball, squash, classes and a great gym with lots of treadmills and a variety of machines. Plus you're right next to the lake and the lake house.

It's a little expensive but ultimately I think it's worth it. But I can't complain because I get a free membership just for being enrolled at Minnesota state college southeast in town!

The only gripe I have is the free weight area get clogged quickly (but let's be honest that's 80% of gyms). But all in all I give the new Y 10/10 plus if you talk with the front desk they'll inform you when deals on memberships are if you don't qualify for the reduced membership cost.

Clean, new facility. Friendly staff. Great variety of workout options. There is a pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna.

I haven't been to the Winona YMCA since they moved to the new location on Hwy 61. It has everything that made the old Y great plus more space and natural light.

New Fall hours. Love that heated pool while my son loves the gym, weight room, and sauna.
