I love breakfast all day and it was delivered hot and ready to eat! Yummy stuffed french toast with the cheese cake stuffing and glazed strawberries! 🍓🍰🍳🧑‍🍳❤🤗

We use to go here with my grandparents and the last time I was here was a little over 30 years ago. The restaurant has aged well. It is like I remembered with cases of baked cookies, muffins, beautiful cakes and pies and other delicious treats on display when you enter. We were seated at a spacious booth and our waitress was friendly and helpful. They have breakfast all day and as well as lunch dishes too. We ordered breakfast. Eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, hash browns and stuffed French toast (stuffed with their cheesecake topped with strawberries). There was a gracious plenty of food. It was hot and delicious. Definitely would recommend eating here.

Our waiter was Kim - she was so patient with us while we decided on what we wanted to order for dinner (we'd never been there for dinner so it took us a bit to decide) and apologized for seeming like she was rushing us by checking in, when in reality it felt reassuring that she was consistently checking in on us to get our food in to the kitchen asap. We ordered the Our Famous Chicken & a salmon fillet. The chicken was okay, would probably order again. However the salmon was very bland and unenjoyable to eat. When we let Kim know, she was very understanding and asked if we wanted something different, and she took the salmon off the bill. She then offered to buy us any dessert we wanted on her. She absolutely did not have to do this and we were very grateful. She was so kind to us and we hope to have her as our waiter again. We made sure to leave a larger tip so she got her money back +tip for the dessert she bought us. Give Kim a RAISE! She deserves it! Has great costumer service skills and is just such a sweet person. Will be coming back just for Kim.

Blue Ribbon Bakery made my wedding cake in 2021 and it was EXCELLENT. People still talk about it, and my partner and I re-order it every year for our anniversary (crack in icing in picture is my fault during transport - not theirs :)). We've also had cupcakes out of the pastry case (not custom ordered) and they were also amazing. This is my favorite bakery in Schenectady!

Excellent food. Greek salad with chicken and Greek salad with pork were well flavored and fresh. The classic desserts were wonderful as well.

Seated promptly. Food was out quickly. Food was served hot, not greasy like most diners. Wait staff very friendly & efficient. Decaf coffee tasted amazing. Good portion sizes. Great value. Very clean. Very accommodating for dietary restrictions.

Best food in the area. Plus they have a big menu.

Blue Ribbon has been the go to Greek restaurant since childhood, one of my Dad's favorite restaurants. The food and service are great, that's why it's usually crowded. That said, I have never waited long for a table and the servers never seem to miss a beat, I don't know how they keep up. I have never experienced a long wait for my order. My brothers and sisters enjoy going, we tend to go together and really enjoy eating and talking at the Blue Ribbon.

The Blue Ribbon Diner has all the comfort food favorites you might expect as well as excellent sandwiches. The service was top notch. Make sure you save room for dessert as their baked goods are out of this world. The carrot cake is particularly recommended

First time sampling the "Morning Glory," which was exquisite. Fresh coffee and danishes. There is in fact a vitrine full of pastries for purchase whole or in slices. Friendly older waitstaff, which always indicates a wholesome work environment. Bathroom tight but clean. Parking ample in the front and on the side. Booths very comfortable, with room for up to three smaller persons on each side. In December 2021, Larry Sharpe stopped at this location on campaign for NY Governor.

I come here anytime I'm in the area. The food is quite good. Fast service. The wait staff is really what earns this place 5 stars. They are all very pleasant. Tammy is my favorite. Always sure to brighten your day!

We really enjoyed every food item, and the "old school" diner ambiance. The wait staff were great and all the food came out quickly, but not rushed, so we could enjoy our soup before the entrees arrived without a long wait after we finished our soups.

Great food and service. Portions are HUGE ... come hungry but save room for the awesome desserts

Had a fantastic waittress named Kelly who was informative, helpful, happy and excellent at her job. Food was hot and tasty. The salad, burger, fries and onions rings were outstanding, but the piece de resistance was the Bavarian Cheescake! I will be back again soon!

First visit. Excellent service and enjoyed a lunch special. They had bakery items which looked delicious but I was too full to eat any. Next time I hope to enjoy one of those desserts. Great experience!

The food is made fresh, served hot. It doesn't matter what your hungry for, breakfast lunch dinner toast to steak. It's all fresh and delicious. Soups are home made with waulity ingredients. Finish off with an amazing desert home made from the bakery. Cakes pies cookies all delicious.

We visited 10/28 and found the place extremely busy. Our server couldn't have been nicer. She did a great job and was very attentive. You guys rock!

I love, love, love this diner. I always have. Since Covid I've not been in until today, but we had a GREAT late lunch at 2:30-ish today on the way to pick up a car in the repair shop in Colonie.

Hubby had a bowl of soup and a cheeseburger and I had the stuffed chicken breast "dinner". I had the cream of broccoli soup (excellent) and the salad (fine) and the "dinner" came with coffee refills and a free dessert. I initially turned down the dessert because I had been only able to eat 3 bites of my chicken and rice with broccoli "entrée", but the waitress suggested that I should take home the limoncello cake with my mostly whole dinner and broccoli side, and I am SO GLAD I did. That lemon cake was perhaps the VERY best, and LIGHTEST dessert I have had in the past 5 years. AMAZEBALLS.

And...tomorrow I will have the rest of my GIGANTIC chicken breast, with stuffing, rice, and gravy plus a bunch of broccoli florets. Hubby and I will team that with the last of the T-giving turkey/stuffing/cranberry sauce and have a lovely meal. Yes, there was actually method to my madness when I chose my meal this afternoon knowing that I could barely eat the soup and salad without becoming too full to eat more.

Then, on the way out, we waddled over to the "bakery" and bought one piece of turtle cheesecake we will likely eat tomorrow with the rest of our blended leftovers. WONDERFUL. Blue Ribbon diner is great and I wish we lived closer so we could eat there more often.

Oh, and there were several tables of loud patrons and one table with a SCREAMING baby, but hey, it's a diner in the middle of the day and I certainly don't expect hushed tones and classical music in a DINER. Still a 5 star place to eat for a reasonable price and conveniently located if you are traveling to that part of the planet!
