La Playa Azul Cocina & Cantina, Indian Lake

Went on a road trip....stopped to eat. We ordered very interested dishes. I had a pineapple steak, chicken, & shrimp fajitas. It came with rice, beans, lettuce & tomatoes, sour cream, & guacamole. The presentation was spectacular! And the taste was delicious! You'll see in the pictures, I ate it all!!! I also had a margarita with jose cuervo called lime & coconut! Two sips & felt it....
My husband had fajuits also with steak, chicken, & shrimp but his dish was cooked in a stone bowl, it was delivered on a pedestal. He said, there was a lot of meat & it was delicious. Our sever was a gentleman & took care of our table well, checking on us often! Will go again! Pictures to come...

First time there. Great service. Great cooks. Got the classic arrozo con Pollo. Chicken had a great taste, good seasoning with just enough char to give it a little smoke. The free salsa was the best. Sweet with some heat at the end. The best thing they put in a pouring glass so you can put as much as you want in your dipping cup. They bring enough dipping cups for everyone at the table. So, no body has to worry about double dipping . Killer place. Good prices. Shoot from the hip and try it out. Enjoy

Good food, friendly service and didn't wait long to eat. Waiter was upbeat and singing as he did his job. I had the Carnitas which were delicious. Definitely will be back. Shouldn't have waited so long to try it.

We took a drive today up to the Indian Lake Boat Show, and we passed this place I decided on the way back out to stop and eat. This place is not only beautiful it's clean the wait staff we had, he was absolutely wonderful, very attentive ,very efficient. The food was phenomenal! The people up around Russells Point and Indian Lake sure are fortunate to have this place I wish we had one around Dayton and Beavercreek

I highly recommend La Playa!!! The food is delicious, drinks are fabulous and cold and the service is above and beyond!!! We always feel welcomed when we walk through the door. The owner and manager are visible and making sure things are running as they should. The manager, Bethany, is the absolute best!!! So friendly and high energy. Go check them out!!! You won't be disappointed!!

My husband and I stopped in for dinner last week. The moment we walked in we were greeted as if we were family at a holiday dinner! We chose to sit at the bar and were promptly tended to. We were delighted to hear the margarita and daiquiri mixes are blended from fresh fruit! No where does that anymore! We both chose the California burrito and received just that…a burrito the size of California! It was so good we left nothing on our plates! We will definitely return!

We drive by here all the time and finally stopped in. The food was great, generous portions of all the typical Mexican fare you would expect at reason prices. My daughter loved the atmosphere with the ship theme and everything water-related. She could play while she waited for her food.

One of the best Mexican restaurants around even beats the ones in Columbus that we have been to! The pineapple fajitas are one of my absolute favorites and are always on point! We try to go at least once a month if not more! I’m not a huge margarita fan but I do like theirs. Highly recommend! Bethany and her staff are always on it!

Food was excellent. Also, I love the ambiance. They keep everything business. Your food is made in a timely manner. The staff is very friendly. Kid friendly, too. As long as they're on their best behavior, LoL! 👍🦜🤠 Prices are reasonable.

The food was very good and our server was very attentive. This was our 1st time visiting and we will be back again!

We sat out on the patio and it was peaceful and everyone was smiling and enjoying the atmosphere. The food was some of the best Mexican I have ever had. Cocktails did not disappoint either. Loved this place so much!

Very busy but was seated quick. Had a party of 8 for my birthday, we had to sit separated but as a as a table opened they moved us. Server was great, we made the celebration even more fun. Definitely recommend when in town.
