Southeast Light Delights

I didn't get anything here myself, aside a water, but my sister and her fiancee enjoyed the food thoroughly. The lobster roll has a generous amount of lobster and the bratwurst was large. The Italian ice was apparently very creamy and delicious as well. The two flavors that day were strawberry and peach. However, it was really a dole whip and not an Italian ice.

I didn't see any recent menus from this place so I have also attached that for anyone who might be curious.

Lastly -- beautiful atmosphere near the lighthouse, service was quick, and the staff was friendly.

Lobster roll (hot with butter) amd caprese sandwich . It was very delicious but 2 sandwiches with tax and tip no drinks for $72 is a hard pill to swallow . Wish the lobster roll would have at least been overflowing with lobster. It wasn't and we were still hungry

What a find! Don't pass this food truck without trying the lobster grilled cheese. Amazing! Comes with bacon, cheddar, and tomato. Well worth the price.

Undoubtedly the most delicious lobster grilled cheese I've ever had. Everything was done to perfection. I've you've never tried a lobster grilled cheese, go for it. As a fair warning, it is a bit pricey, but we'll worth it. We'll be back for lunch soon!

Popular place that does light roadside food well. The only real option on that side of the island. Price is comparable to other locations. You get a healthy portion of meat. Wide selection of drinks to quench your thirst from biking, hiking, or moped.

I have walked from Ballard's up to the light, taken a cab and rented mopeds to come out here. I did the tour and climbed to the top once (it was $5 but may have gone up by now), well worth it for the view/photos. Awesome spot!

Large delicious hot dog on a brioche bun. Best bang for your buck on the island! Awesome service. Shady spot to sit and rest.

Block Island is like entering into a time machine. After taking the ferry across, first look, same view as thirty to forty years back. A quaint Island full of activities, biking, walking, hiking, touring the famous Southeast Lighthouse. It was the first lighthouse ever attempted to be moved! The nearly year long project was a National newsreel. People wanted to know how it was even possible. Others curious to see if it would be rescued in time or meet it's doom, being claimed by eroding coast or crashing down from the move. It has been 25years and the project still raises curiosity. A great place to explore!

Only takes cash (and it is pricey) but the lobster roll is to die for. One of the best lobster rolls ever. We went to eat there as much as we could, the light house also has great views.

Sold me cold drinks after a day of bicycling even though they were closed.

This a beautiful stop on Block Island that looks to the south out to the Atlantic Ocean. You can see the construction work being done on the wind farm 3 miles offshore. By 2017 the wind farm should be in operation. If you are making a bike / moped tour around the island is definitely a place to stop. There is also a food truck there during the summer months.

Absolutely amazing food don't ever change the way you do things . It had friendly service. It was really not bad for a little place in the middle of such aa remote place . I Would make the trip to rhode Island and the ferry ride all over again . and eat there one more time .

This is a MUST GO place if you visit Block Island. 100% the best lobster rolls on the island. The people are great, too.

Absolutely worth the donation to the preservation group for the climb up. What a unique and beautiful building. The views from the grounds and the tower are breathtaking.

Must visit in block island. Beautiful view.
