Threads of Tradition Quilt Shop

Threads of Traditions quilting shop is located within Sauder Village. It is a quaint sewing/quilting shop that offers you everything to make your projects come to life. Very helpful staff that is patient with rookie quilters and pleasant to deal with. My wife and I are new to quilting this year and discovered Threads of Traditions during our first annual quilting shop hop. It was a Michigan/Ohio event where you travel to, in this case, 7 shops. Each shop offers a free pattern and 3 fat quarters for purchase. When you complete your journey, you will be entered in multiple drawings for prize giveaways and will have the material you need to complete one of the 7 quilting patterns you've received along your journey. It's a fun and wonderful concept that helps local small businesses. We will be back for sure... Two thumbs up 👍 👍

So nice to be back here and they are having a challenge quilt for their quilt show next year. I’m going to participate this for fun. They did shop is nice, clean and it was wonderful seeing a volunteer quilter doing hand quilting to keep the “tradition” of quilting.

A nice variety of fabrics from colonial times to batiks. Many kits that you can purchase for your future projects along with inspirational quilts for you to look at.

A bonus is this store is located in the same building as Sauders Museum and in a Sauders Village. Well worth your visit.

Best quilt shop ever! It is inside the sauder village. Fun staff that were also very knowledgeable. Beautiful quilts hung up to inspire customers.

Great place to learn about the construction of quilts. In progress pieces can be viewed while the volunteers are hand quilting. The staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to answer all the questions we had about quilts while my 10yo was trying to complete his 4H project.
