Lowe's Home Improvement

My home away from home! We bouggt a 100 year old house 8 years ago and have gone here for all our home improvement needs. We have more work to do on this old house, so we will definetly be returning. Their carpet installation crew is amazing and did a fantastic job as well! The photos below are of the carpet/ paint we bought at lowes to improve our home.

Upon pulling in the store looked closed. It was 7:00 p.m. hey Google first before I got out of the truck and sure enough it was still open. I headed over quickly to the plumbing aisle to pick up a few sharkbite items that I needed for a job early the next morning. I was also in need of some foil tape wich I never found. Stupid man, I forgot I had the app on my phone and could have used it to find the isle and locate the tape. Indiana I couldn't find any employees . As I wonderd the store for another 20 minutes looking for the tape shortly I was followed by some Lowe's security personnel . With the wife still in the truck it was time to check out.
I headed to the cash self service check out isle. As I was scanning my items a cashier came up and said she had to take the security tabs off of the items scanned. They don't actually take the tabs off there inside the packaging. Dumb spoken error on the cashier end but never less she took the items returned them an proceeded to watch me scan my gloves. The total was $80. After inserting my cash I felt the young lady almost breathing down my neck to see if I paid or something. Surely they thought I had hidden something in my baulky Carhart winter work coat. It was only 8 out at that time.. as several folks watched me leave, surely hoping for that door alarm to go off I turned around and said to everyone, have a great night.
My point is I know this happens everyday but I'm just not that guy.. They need to profile a little better. As I tell my wife, don't take this out on me for something your pass ex's have done to you!
I am not that guy! Don't hate me, don't harrase me for those mistakes of your past customers,"play on words there" hopefully the wife hasn't had any past customers, lol.
Do a better job next time Lowe's or "little old me" won't be back.

get your replacement windows from lowes!! amazing product. cant beat the price, and u know they arent a fly by night shady company. and the installers are absolutely amazing. super nice and respectful, and very professional. really great at what they do. it's like they weren't even here!. the Marion , Ohio lowes has the window business down to a science!

Variety of home improvement supplies. They always have a nice plant selection in the spring but you have to buy what you want then because they sell out fast.

They had the deep freezer we needed at the last minute on hand in store and helped load it in the back of our truck

When I’m trying to locate items for my shopping cart it saves so much time with the help of your team members. Most recent visit in the paint department, I’ll give a shout out to Lori for her assistance in selection, location , and direction. She kept me from wandering aimlessly. 😊

Shout out to the flooring department! Specifically Cort, Amber, Dillon and Coby. Impressively helpful, knowledgeable, patience, and kind. #1 reason I would use Lowes flooring department again. Thank you!!

I found affordable prices on appliances, I was assisted by one of the stores associate . He was informative by answering my questions and checked my purchase out in a timely manner.

National chain home improvement warehouse. Employees knowledgeable. Prices high on some items, competitive on others compared to other home improvement warehouses. Clean inside and out. If you're a military veteran you do get a discount immediately, no sending off for a rebate.

While I can say that I do shop at Lowes a lot, the Marion Lowe's is not that bad in customer service. I read many people having issues with the employees. Each time I have been there the employees are fantastic. The only issue I have ever had was Kitchen cabinets, they never return a phone call or seem to be in-store when you need help.

As soon as employees saw us with a very large flat of soil they came to our assistance & loaded it in our SUV. Great price on the soil.

Had to have a piece of glass cut today. Worker was there in about one minute after I pushed the help button. Fast , courteous service that seems to be their normal. Picked up window screens and a GFCI outlet. Was in & out in about 10 minutes.

Stopped to get a few keys made and pick up a few other items. Found items in out list and found a hardware guy to help on the keys. Was a good visit.

It's great they always have what you're looking for or need

My preferred home improvement store. They carry many of the brands that I prefer, usually at very reasonable prices. Not all of their deals are advertised online so it's worth stopping in occasionally. Prefer their lumber selection over other home improvement stores, but would go to a dedicated lumberyard for large projects.

I'm a contractor and have been shopping this Lowes for 31 years... I spend a fair amount of money here every year and always receive excellent service... after reading reviews of my favorite place to shop... it makes me sad. I think the pandemic has been challenging for ALL business to service their clients, mine included...I have no doubt the bad experiences I read on line are indeed real, but are the result of many social issues in America today that can't be changed... my best suggestion is to get to know the people that are there to help. I have had my share of issues with deliveries not coming on time or rescheduled but Lowes has always made it right.
