Bellissima Veils & Headpieces

Absolutely loved my experience at Bellissima!! I was having a hard time trying to find a veil, ending up going to this store and found my veil, earrings, and hairpiece all at once! Everything was very reasonably priced — way cheaper than a lot of the more commercial bridal stores. Amy was fantastic! She took her time trying to make sure I found the perfect pieces to match my dress. She even took the time to style my hair in an updo so I can get a better idea of what the veil and hairpiece would look like. Not a single complaint!! Thank you Amy for making me feel beautiful on my special day!!

I had an absolutely amazing experience shopping at Bellissima. Amy is so kind and really took her time to help me find hair pieces/jewelry that I loved. I cannot recommend her shop enough! She has so many different styles of veils/headpieces/jewelry that look even more beautiful in person. I am so happy and thankful that I found her shop! Definitely plan to stop by if you are in the bridal district.

I had the best experience at this store. Amy the owner was sensational and helped me pick out options for my accessories. After placing my hair in a mock up do she placed the headpieces and offered to take photos so I could see the back. This store is a MUST if you’re getting married. The pieces were beautiful, they have everything from jewelry, belts, veils, hair combs, tiaras, and more. The items were all very reasonably priced and I was surprised that I actually came in way under budget for what I thought I’d have to pay. 10/10 highly recommend.

I absolutely loved my experience with Bellissima. The owner, Amy, is so genuine and likable. I was having second thoughts about the dress I bought. Not knowing what to do, my mom and I walked around the bridal district and went into this store. Amy showed me a couple different things I could do and suggested I make an appointment so I could try them with my dress. It's really fun to be around people who are love their job and are good at it, and Amy is one of those people. Watching her compare different options and think about what would work best for me was so interesting. You can tell she's really thinking about you and how the details will come together. After my appointment I am so confident in my wedding day look. My mom also realized that 25 years ago she bought her wedding shoes from Amy! We totally trust her and are so impressed with the experience. I can't wait to tell all my engaged friends to go play real life dress up with her and pick something out for their big day! Amy was absolutely amazing from my initial inquiry to final product. She is the most genuine person and her work is outstanding. She custom made my wedding veil, handkerchief for mom, and garter using the lace applique from my gown. I highly recommend visiting her shop in Reading. Thank you, Amy!

I can’t thank Amy enough. I was struggling to find sleeves and a veil that matched my ideas. I sent her a few emails and not long after that she sourced the fabric and we had a plan. She was so incredibly thorough, kind, and a delight to work with. She blew my expectations out of the water. I received so many compliments on her work. I would give her a million stars if I could!

I originally met Amy when I purchased my headpiece from her about 2-3 months ago but it wasn't until recently that I realized Amy is truly a master at her craft. I rarely post reviews but felt I had to post a review in order to thank her for her handiwork. I purchased a dress with a plunging neckline for my wedding but wanted a modesty panel to be added with embroidery that matched my dress. Since my dress had pearl, gold and silver embellishments I knew this would be a hard task (see the attached picture) but Amy was able to hand create a panel with the same embellishments in the EXACT same pattern. The relief I felt when I saw her work nearly brought me to tears as I had almost given up hope that I would find something to appropriately cover me and match my dress. In addition to her pure talent she did it all within 2 days and charged me an incredibly reasonable rate that I felt was not worthy of her work. I will be forever grateful to her and feel she saved my wedding dress.

I was here with my daughter in mid-December. We are not local and were in the area to pick up her wedding dress. On relatively short notice, we were able to secure an appointment at Bellissima. The experience was unforgettably good. We were the only customers in the shop. After some initial discussion about styles and preferences and a look at the dress, Amy had my daughter put the dress on, then used bobby pins to approximate my girl's intended hairstyle on the big day. This allowed us to get a good idea of how the various hair pieces and earrings would look.
Amy offered suggestions, but was absolutely respectful of our opinions and never pushy. Her suggestions were right-on!
She was so careful with the dress, and showed us how to zip the bag so that the dress did not get caught in the zipper.
She's obviously an expert at this, and her heart is truly in her work. In the end, we selected a hair comb, earrings, a bracelet, and a veil.

Amy (owner) is such a caring, humble women who takes time to listen and pay attention to the small details of your project. She actually MADE my veil from pictures I found on the internet, and it was even MORE BEAUTIFUL than I imagined.

In addition to veils, she has all the jewelry you could ever dream of for you and your bridal party. DO NOT BUY JEWELRY FROM OTHERS BEFORE SEEING HER HUGE REASONABLY PRICED SELECTION. I had already purchased my bridal party jewelry that i could not return.. I REGRETTED IT!! At least I purchased my jewelry from her.

Her store is so cute and quaint, and you sit at a mirror as she develops your dream!! Please drop in or best to make an appointment to get more individualized attention.

Amy was so great! I wanted a unique necklace to go with my dress. She met with me and went over all the options to make sure it was exactly what I wanted.

Amy is incredible!! I had a jewelry emergency two weeks before my wedding and needed bridesmaid earrings asap. She was SO accommodating and helped me find the most beautiful set of earrings for my bridesmaids within the amount of time I needed them. She is just the sweetest person and I wish I had found her sooner to take care of all of my bridal jewelry needs. Highly recommend to all brides!

Amy is sweet, patient and an experienced professional. Her advice is spot-on, and she made me feel like a princess while in her beautiful shop. The selection of headpieces is dazzling and of high quality. Lastly, it was a nice surprise when the comb I ordered came in about 3 weeks earlier than Amy expected -- well in time for a hair appointment a couple months before the wedding.

Amy is AMAZING!!! She crafted the most amazing bridal hair pieces for me and for all my bridesmaids to perfectly match their dresses! She also made beautiful earrings for all the girls and a beautiful dress belt and photo frame with a hair piece attached to bedazzle it! She is so kind, so professional, and so talented! 100% would recommend her for any accessory item!!!!

Amy is amazing!! She custom made me my dream veil for half the price of what I would’ve spent in a bridal boutique. I also got my hair comb from her that was gorgeous and reasonably priced. Amy was fantastic to work with and spent so much time with me to ensure I’d get what I wanted. Would recommend her to anyone!

Working with Amy has been wonderful and I am so happy I hired her to create my wedding veil. None of the bridal salons had what I was looking for and when I met Amy at a bridal show, I knew she would be perfect for the job. I had envisioned a long cathedral length veil with white flowers cascading down the back and a blusher in the front for when I walked down the aisle. With just a few pictures and a description, Amy pulled it all together to create an AMAZING veil. I received so many compliments on it the day of and it held up really well through the ceremony and pictures. Would 1000% recommend Amy at Bellissima. Beyond the fact that she did a great job, she is very sweet and organized to work with.

I want to give 100 stars!!! Words cannot describe how sweet Amy is or how beautiful her store is! This was by far my favorite part of my wedding process. The store feels like a "real life" etsy. A hallmark movie should take place at this store! It is truly amazing!! Do not get married before going to see Amy! :) Amy will make you feel like the most gorgeous bride in the entire world!

I had a wonderful experience shopping for my bridal veil and hair pins today with Amy!
Scheduling an appointment with her was very easy via email. She was ready when I arrived and eager to help! I told her that I had an idea of what I was looking for but also wanted to look at different styles to make sure. She pulled several styles and was attentive to my feedback on the various materials, lengths, and fabric finishes. She was also helpful in educating me about those things. Once we narrowed it down to a few veil and headpiece options, I put on my dress and she put the different options on me so I could see the whole look together! She even pinned my hair into the style I'm thinking of wearing so I could get an idea of what it will all really look like day of! She did a good job of helping me find something that would look great with my dress and also fit my style for the day. Because she makes everything herself, she is able to make customizations - for example, she's taking a hair comb I liked the style of and changing it into a 5 piece pin set because I like pins better.
Overall I would definitely recommend brides shop here for their accessories!!
