I'm Mother-of-the-Groom and needed a dress, but didn't have the luxury of time to order one. Bridal and Formal has a room of "off the rack" dresses; kind of like a formal wear "grab-n-go" section.

Tessa was my assistant for the 60-90 minutes that I was there. She explained the layout of the room, told me how to select what dresses I liked, and pointed out the hook to use for my selections. When I had what I thought was an adequate number of dresses, she showed me to a moderate sized fitting room. Here, she helped me in and out of the selected dresses, giving me plenty of privacy between zipping/unzipping each dress. They have only a small hand held mirror to view the back, so I asked Tessa to use my phone to take front and back views of each dress. First, so that I could see the details better, and, also because I was planning to text my daughter and sisters for their input before making a final decision. That worked out really well.

I found out that dresses are designed to fit a 5' 10" person, so all of my selection were long in the torso or needed major hemming. Fortunately, they have clips and the "know how" to use them to give you the best look for the fitting.

I found the perfect dress, but it had a snag right across the back. It's something I can probably fix myself. But, because of the flaw, I got the dress for 75% off. What a pleasant surprise!

At checkout Tessa provided me with a list of alteration specialists, who could do the hemming for me.

To help the dress fit its best I walked to Sheer Necessities Lingerie (cross Benson St. and Jefferson Ave. at the light, then walk up Benson 4-5 buildings) and purchased fine quality foundations. Add that stop to your formal wear shopping list.

30+ years ago, I bought my wedding dress at Bridal & Formal. I felt beautiful on my wedding day. I've shared photos of this current dress on social media and have received positive comments. I'm hoping for a "matured" form of beauty on my son's wedding day. And, I thank Bridal & Formal for helping to make both days special for me.

I had the best experience finding a dress at Bridal and Formal, I ended up picking the first one I tried on but my stylist, Kathleen, was so patient with my indecisive personality! She also picked out so many other beautiful dresses that were similar to my style and fit my athletic body type. My MOH, my mom, and aunt all had a blast there! I am truly obsessed with my dress and love how it suited my body! I’d recommend Bridal and Formal to any bride’s as they have SO many dresses to pic from and that staff are all so sweet!

I had the best time at Bridal and Formal. I came in thinking that I wanted a plain & simple dress and left with the opposite! I had Jean and she was the best ever. She brought out of the box options for me to try and I fell in LOVE! She really made the experience an amazing one and I am so grateful for her. Jean is amazing at what she does and really learns about what you love and don’t. She is fantastic! I 1000% recommend!

Our time at Bridal and Formal was amazing from the moment we walked in. We are extremely lucky we had Jean as our bridal consultant, though I imagine any of the wonderful people at Bridal and formal would have been phenomenal. Jean listened to what I wanted, helped me figure out what I really loved and what I didn't, and ended up pulling a gown that was nowhere on my radar which ended up being my perfect gown. I am so glad I said YES to my dress at Bridal and Formal and I can't wait to come back to shop for bridesmaids and mother dresses!! I absolutely recommend Bridal and Formal!

I loved my experience! I had Bobbi assisting me and she was absolutely amazing! She made sure to get an understanding of what I was looking for and my budget. She was very personable and interactive with my family, everyone loved her. Bobbi was so good at her job and by the time I tried on the second dress I had found the one ❤ I would recommend Bridal and Formal to any bride.

I cannot say enough good things about Bridal and Formal and all of the amazing staff there! Especially my amazing consultant, Bobbi!!! Bobbi went above and beyond to not only make me feel comfortable but my whole group as well! She was so attentive to what I wanted and helped me easily tease out what it was that I liked and didn’t like about each dress I tried on (while also being such an honest and amazing hype woman throughout!!) She then put back/pulled different dresses based on that feedback and strategically helped me decide which to try on next. I never once felt rushed or pressured to pick a dress which wasn’t the same case at other boutiques I had visited that day. She brought the best energy and made the experience truly unforgettable! Bridal and formal has such a great selection of dresses- Cincinnati is so lucky to have a bridal store like this one!

My B & F experience was great! I was a little worried about going dress shopping and didn't know who to bring due to how many sisters I have and friends. I decided to go first with my friends to solidify what style I liked, then fully decide with my mom and sisters.

Jean was my style consultant, definitely sassy which I LOVED but she knew how to read each of my faces and manage the crowd. My last dress that I tried on I fell in love, but I didn't feel comfortable to decide without my mom and sisters there. She didn't pressure me to buy right then, she helped me schedule a time for us to come back and told us we can cancel any time. That was game changer because I had been feeling pressured everywhere I go.

I came back the next week and she knew her assignment. She helped to manage my sisters and mom and did it very professionally. She even worked with me on price for the dress I loved. Ultimately it was an amazing experience and I am so grateful for my time with her and my experience with Bridal and Formal.

After trying on I feel like a million dresses, I finally said yes to the dress at bridal & formal. The staff there was extremely helpful and amazing, especially Kayla. They have tons of options in the store from all different price ranges and styles. The dress and veil I picked was just a bit out of my budget and they worked with me and got the price right on budget.
I’m soo excited, I can’t wait to marry my best friend in this dress. I highly recommend Bridal & Formal.

Had such a great experience at Bridal & Formal! I also have to compliment our sales consultant, Jean. I went in with not a slightest idea about what kind of dress I wanted, and with the help of Jean, I was able to find my perfect wedding dress! This place was so nice and accommodating to my family and friends who came along as well.

I recently had an appointment at Bridal & Formal and had a wonderful experience! I had a specific designer and some dresses in mind, and they were able to have those dresses pulled for me when my party arrived for the appointment. We were given lots of time and attention (and even went over our scheduled two hours because I was having the hardest time deciding!) throughout our visit. Lacrecia was my consultant and she gave me helpful advice and encouragement, as well as suggestions for dresses I might like and what was realistic for my needs. Would recommend her and the shop to anyone!

This was my first time wedding dress shopping & the entire experience was wonderful. My consultant & stylist, Bethann, was absolutely AMAZING. My family & friends all loved her as well!! It was great having a stylist who was around the same age as me & truly listened to me. We picked out some styles & were able to narrow down what I liked almost immediately. Bethann took her time with me & didn’t make me feel rushed at all! I couldn’t recommend her & Bridal & Formal enough!!! I cannot wait to come back to pick up my dress & pick out accessories. The staff here at Bridal and Formal went out of their way to help me find the perfect dress. Would highly recommend! My mom "said yes" here at Bridal and Formal, and I just recently said yes too! The selection here is amazing, with the staff helping me stay within my budget. We were blessed with Bobbi as my bridal consultant, and she was PERFECT! My review might’ve came in late but it doesn’t take away that Bride & Formal was the right place for me. 🥰 The experience felt magical. One can feel the ambiance as soon as one walks in. I was excited but nervous. I didn’t know what to expect and was by myself. The staff was kind and pleasant.😊 Kelly was sweet and easy to work with. I showed her the picture of the dress I felt led to find and she brought me the exact one for me to try on! (To my surprise)🥰 And a couple similar ones. I loved it the first time I tried it on. I appreciate Kelly’s kind assistance. I tried the others and then knew what I wanted. She was so sweet to even send me a letter a couple days after 🥰. Most appreciated. When I came back a second time to pick up my dress and tried it on, she was smiling with me too. All in all, the entire dress-finding experience was surreal yet tranquil to me. A spiritual walk with God as I had to travel a bit far by Faith. I am thankful that Bride & Formal was part of it. God bless! 🙏

Bobbi was incredible to work with and made the whole experience so fun and relaxed! She helps to keep things light while also ensuring that you get to try on enough dresses to see what you like. My friends and mom all raved about what a great job she did! She helped me find my dress which was not what I was originally looking for but ended up being perfect and so much more "me". I would highly recommend working with Bobbi to any bride looking for a dress and wanting to make the experience amazing!

My friends and I had an amazing experience here with Bobbi as our consultant! She was extremely fun, energetic and helpful with finding my wedding dress.
