Residence Inn by Marriott Columbus OSU

Hotel is very nice, especially for a residence inn. Only part that was very odd to me, and has never happened at a hotel before for me, was we had the cleaning staff knock on our door at 930 AM asking if we were checking out soon. I had late checkout already and didn't end up using it, but thought it was rather odd got very caught off guard. Would recommend staff get updated checkout rooms/status as this was kind of awkward and felt like we were getting kicked out.

I chose this hotel because it was close to OSU. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. The bathroom was huge and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet also had a good variety of items. The hot items were oatmeal (with a very large variety of toppings), breakfast sandwiches, jalapeño-three cheese baked soufflé, high quality bacon, and scrambled cage-free eggs.

This is a great hotel in a perfect location when visiting Columbus, I stay here often when traveling for work. The rooms are large with everything you need, especially for a long stay. It's attached to the OSU Marriot, and shares the MODA restaurant/bar which is a pretty good place considering most hotel restaurants are just not good. It is a bit pricey, but a good option when you don't want to venture out after traveling all day. The BLT burger is very good. The Residence Inn also offers free breakfast which the Marriot does not, so that's a little added perk. Their options while I was there included sausage, bacon, eggs, oatmeal, cereals, various juices and milk, and of course coffee.

Spacious with numerous amenities that I enjoyed. The location would be excellent for attending OSU sporting events I imagine.

We always have a wonderful stay at this hotel. The people are friendly, the rooms are modern and clean, and they will do what they can to make you happy. My husband and I just recently stayed to celebrate our anniversary and we bumped into the guest relations manager and told her we were staying for our anniversary. She brought us cheesecake and champagne to our room! They made this stay so special for us.

I've stayed here a couple of times and had good experiences both times. The rooms were updated, clean, and comfortable. The service was good, and they have a great little breakfast, which is one of those small touches that makes a big difference.

The 2-bedroom room suites are great. Spacious and comfortable. There are 2 bathrooms and they are both full size. The staff there was very helpful and they have a cute little outside firepit area. It is very easy access with the stop light there so you can turn either direction onto the Olentangy road which is convenient. Parking in general there was good (and free!) We will definitely stay again.

Very nice hotel. The staff were nice and helpful. The location of the hotel is great too as it is about 5 minutes away from Ohio State. Overall, I am very pleased by this experience.

My wife and I had stayed at the adjacent Marriott OSU, so we assumed the Residnce Inn would be similar, and it was in many ways. However, we were very pleased with the amenities of the room having a kitchenette, a full-sized fridge, and a separate sofa area apart from the bed. Certainly a huge plus for anyone staying for an extended time!
The Moda Bar was easily accessible from both the front and rear hallway elevators, and the food and drinks were perfect before heading out on the town that evening.
We arrived back at the hotel around 3 am. and were surprised by the amount of activity on the floor above us. There were lots of stomping and running about, but it was the weekend, and we didn't see the point in complaining and ruining someone else's good time. The bed was comfortable and had us off to dreamland in no time.
Another great amenity to the Residence Inn is its free breakfast buffet. It was a nice start to the morning as we were heading out. We've been back a second time after our first visit and experienced all of the same qualities from before. Certainly recommended for the location and price!

I’m a pilot and travel for work so I stay in a lot of hotels. This hotel is fantastic. It’s clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff are the friendliest and most helpful staff of any hotel I’ve stayed in. Lindsay, Amy, and everyone at the reception are lovely, accommodating, and always seem genuinely happy and helpful. Denise and Jessa who work in the lounge keep the lounge clean, organized, and stocked with great food and snacks (the coffee machine is also awesome). Everyone is very pleasant and helpful! I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

I’m currently a guest here with my daughter and fiancé. I have to say, the customer service of the staff here is incredible, the grounds are well kept, fresh clean rooms, and clean common areas. I highly recommend this property for a stay in the area.

Very nice lodging option. I've stayed at both the residence inn and the connected Marriott. Both are fantastic facilities. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient for business travel with quick and easy access to 315. It's also got a fair bit of dining options located within walking distance. If you prefer not to walk, their in-house restaurant is awesome too! I got the pastrami sandwich, though it wasn't a NY deli style sandwich, it was still super delicious!

Wonderful hotel; wonderful staff. I could not ask for anything more: great location, easy parking, clean rooms, terrific amenities... An absolute delight all-around. I will be coming back here anytime I'm in Columbus.

Stayed here for one night for the Justin Bieber concert. This is one of the nicest hotels for the price, hands down! The staff was very friendly, the rooms had great amenities/was clean upon arrival, & the hotel was very nice. On top of that, the restaurant in the Marriott was delicious. Overall, would come back again!

This is a new Residence Inn that is outstanding in nearly every aspect. The people working there were very nice. The room was spacious and had everything you would need. The bed was comfortable. The workout room was big and well-equipped. The breakfast was restaurant-quality and excellent. It is attached to a new Marriott which is also very nice. My only minor gripe is the pool is a bit underwhelming for such a large place. This is going to be my new go-to hotel when I am in Columbus and I look forward to returning.
