One of the best colleges ever. They have many programs that will help you succeed. They even have books in the library that you can use to study if you don’t have your course textbooks on hand. Great advisors my advisor when I went to Medgar was Ms. Glenda W……… They make sure students graduate before time and on time. They offer many things. It was a virtual graduation . Dr. Lashley knows we well . I even won my traveling suitcase from them now I’m throwing it out it has water damage

Medgar Ever College is my college. As a graduating senior, this college became an integral part of my life's existence. For almost five years now __this college had sheltered me from all emotional turmoils I went through and is the college I am in while I worked on my inner childhood traumas as well as adulthood traumas:

I used their swimming pool and pool tables (before Covid locked down)to unwind from the stressed of my ongoing court hearings due to child custody that has been going on since 2017.

But it was the Free Guitar Lesson, given by Male Dept Center on Carroll Building, that helped me tremendously: I was able to honed my 4 guitar chords I briefly learned from my hs sophomore during our intramurals.

Upon registering at the guitar room, I bought a guitar 2 days later and started strymming on it at home, and then I wrote music, the next day I wrote a poem -- and put them together and played it to the Mentor the next day who told me I am musically "inclined". And the rest was history: I have written more than 20 songs from 2019 March - Feb 2023 (yep, I continue writing, as my hobby) 🙏♥

English is not my first language, but I didn't let it become my hindrance in writing and singing and publishing my songs. I felt so grateful to feel embarrassed for it! So, I shared 🥰 🙏❤

All my songs has meaning. Mantra is about letting go. And healing from heartches healthily--meaning, no numbing with alcohol and other drugs or binge eating. Instead, learn to let go, do meditation and be aware of the consequences of resorting on alcohol and other drugs, and that, if you cannot avoid ingesting them__at least do so moderation.

Because, it is better to be sober and alert in dealing with life's pains and agonies: we will have the capacity to understand where we went wrong and be able to think of all possible solutions that are healthy and safe, so that we can move on and be happy again.

My best friend graduated from Medgar in 2007, it was beautiful my daughter 8 at the time watched the ceremony and signed up as well when she turn 18 she attended and graduated 🎉🎊 Also, my advice to the young is focus and have a tunnel vision when attending college stay positive lean on each other for moral support. This is a really a good college a few changes because a lot of the old professor are no longer there. But at the end we go for education🗒

This is an outstanding venue, Medgar Evers they have dedicated administration. Including their faculty in the biology dept. Dr. Tony and Dr. Ebere are exemplary professionals and dedicated research scientist. I had a positive experience at the college. It was an academic and spiritual experience. The president and all the employees who ran the college were kind and hardworking individuals. I hope you consider my argument for your future academic objectives. Medgar Evers help the middle class and the poor. They have an excellent nursing program. And many of their students attend medical schools. Throughout the country. If you're in a foreign venue or in America consider this college for your academic objectives in life. They will help you on your journey in life.

I went to Medgar Evers College in 2004 and was in the nursing track. There were obstacles to overcome and we have to realize that there are circumstances beyond our control and that goes for the academic faculty as well as the students, for example. I left before graduating because the nursing department had lost accreditation. That does NOT mean I did not receive a decent education while I was there. I learned a lot about my major and I also learned about my history. I cannot explain how much of an influence this school has been on my progress as a professional and as a human being. I had a professor named Dr. Crawford. He was EXCELLENT. He did not tolerate any disrespect or juvenile behavior in his class. He provided a professional learning atmosphere and he is one educator that I will never forget. As for the comments about disrespectful staff, I do not recall any condescending or rude behavior from faculty or students during my matriculation.

I wen't to Medgar Evers in 2004. It is a very good school. The professors I had were very kind and they really care about the students. I made a lot of friends and study partners and learned a lot. I would recommend this college! I had a good experience.

Working alongside the professionals at Medgar Evers has been nothing less than exceptional. From the time of my sisters' admission to now we have received steadfast support.

One of the great CUNY institutions, they have tons of research opportunities, excellent professors, with small size classes. I honestly can't stop loving this school.

I spent a semester in Medgar Evers and it was the best experience ever. I have been with them since my 9th grade, been to their talent search program, their college now program and its the best school in CUNY if you want a good education and also people who cares for your education. Many in here get pay to write bad reviews about the school when none are true. Many school in CUNY are trying to Make MEDGAR EVERS College look bad, because they don't want the AFRICAN American Community and the other minorities to know the truth about how they were treating others. Its a shame to see how other African American are minimizing the school when they know damn well it is a good school. No other school in CUNY or SUNY really teach about the History of Black and Other Minority group than Medgar Evers. It is a great school. People should know about them really well before you can come in here and write a negative review about them.

I am a transfer student and complite 2 semister here. Most of the professor are helpful and friendly, all the stuff members are helpful. Bathroom ,library ,learning center all are good.

I enjoyed my time at Medgar! I was able to develop academically and culturally. The school was like a second home with a great sense of community.

They are No longer teaching classes at the Caroll building classes are being held in the Bedford building the building where Mat 009 and 010, Music 100, Art 100, English 006 and 005 used to be taught is now the Medgar Evers Immigration Center Remedial courses are no longer at 1150 Caroll St they are now moved to 1650 Bedford Ave across the street in the B building

This is a very wonderful school and alot of nice people to. Overall great experience

This school gave the motivation to HUSTLE. I plan to invest my inevitable wealth into the college to push other men of color to think bigger.
