Valley Thrift Store

Hands-down the best and largest thrift store in Dayton! It seems more organized than in the past. The staff are friendly enough. I always find something here! Lots of household items but it’s mostly clothing and shoes. People complain about “high prices”as if every item in a thrift store should cost 50 cents. They can please go dumpster dive in the Goodwill Outlet across Woodman Drive. Make sure your tetanus booster is up to date!

My favoriteest thrift store ever. When I come here I feel like I'm in Disneyland. It takes more than one day to look through all of the things that they have.

I've found several awesome pairs of jeans there. They have extra discount days a few times a year. For a thrift store it's pretty clean. They always have adequate staff for stocking and running cash registers on busy days. I'm not a fan of their changing room policy (only 3 items) but it does keep the line moving. Pro tip: if you are trying on tops just wear a tight fitting shirt and try them on over your clothes so you don't have to wait for a changing room. They do have bathrooms as well as non clothing items and clothes in larger sizes (16-3x).

Great prices and selection. Well organized for a thrift store, and the staff is very friendly. Furniture is very affordable and in good condition. I bought 3 Fischer Price toys for $4, the batteries still worked and they looked like new. The same toys would have cost $60 anywhere else.

Got a yellow shirt for my son and it was only $0.49

I love that they always have what I'm looking for here! I got four full sized bath towels and two hand towels for $8. This place is a life saver for broke college students like me. :) Also met a cashier there who it was her first day and she was so sweet! I love being able to talk to the employees and have good conversations:)

always always always love this place spend sometime looking and I almost promise you will find many things you want or need. I got a gorgeous new with tags top 16.99 way more then I like to pay but oh I loved it .
Went again today store has been rearranged. Seems a bit cleaner . Prices have went way up Didn't find anything too exciting there this trip.

We love the store but the actions of the employees are relentless ….they are rude and mean ….they constantly act like YOU are in there way as when we are shopping and looking they come out with merchandise and are just mean about you getting out of their way and if you ask a question they are very hateful and not accommodating ..::.I have never had one that was kind and helpful which is very sad because this store is very nice although some prices are absurd there again grumpy mean people doing the pricing ..I am not sure how they do their pricing ….just wish the employees were kinder ….that is the only thing I don’t care for in this store because again such a variety and nice store ….hopefully one day employees are more kind to their customers

This is 100% my secret to everything I buy. I furnish my house here, buy all my clothing here (and I find AMAZING things. I wear all silk thanks to this place) I even got almost everything for my wedding here. If you're patient, you'll find great deals and amazing treasures. I never have left empty handed or not thrilled with my finds! Sometimes things are priced a little funky, but the finds you will get if you wait will be worth it!

Great place! Heres my barely "over 20.00" haul! New hot boots(sexy), perfect fit skinny jeans, a great lime bath towel, make-up bag and a soft tee for work! Wow! Love this place and seems "Jen" is always my great cashier! A must-do on Sundays!

Valley Thrift Store's selection of items is amazing. I've never been to a thrift store with as many options as this one. It's so cool! So many things to pick from and so many great prices I found. The staff were very nice and sweet and I saw options that I've never seen from another store before. Checking out was smooth and fast even though it was busy. I recommend shopping here, you can't go wrong!

This place is the best. I've been going here since I was in high school. You can find some real gems. Everything is 50% on holidays and 25% off every Monday. They also give coupons. The only downside is that you can only bring 3 items into a fitting room at a time. BUT I'm still giving them 5 stars because they price things individually and you can get stuff for less than $1.00.

This place is the best! I always find a great deal on cool stuff. I recently bought a Fossil watch almost brand new. Jewelry case full of lost treasures, always an adventure. New girl at the jewelry counter was very friendly and helpful. Parking lot just paved 3 days ago. Service is fast and friendly! Truly a bargain hunters paradise!

Love this store! Normally takes me hours to shop as you can get alot of good deals. So ladies if your men dont like to spend time shopping then leave them home and go. I found for my daughter a nice like new headboard that you would pay else where 400 got it for $20. Score!

Great place to get 2nd hand appliances, clothes and items. They had a washer in there today, I bought a coffee maker and my girl got a cute coach bag and wallet. All for under 39 dollars. Not bad honestly

I love both Valley Thrift Store's I've been too. I live in Hamilton, so I mainly shop at the Fairfield location, but the Dayton location was just as good if not a little bit better. The prices are amazing at both locations, Dayton may be little bit higher on some things, but it is on the higher end items that I don't mind doing since I'm saving over more than half already cause I'm shopping here. Highly recommended

I absolutely love this thrift store. There is a huge selection of not only clothes, but knick knacks, kitchen supplies, fabric, bedding, appliances and furniture. The prices are typically very low, and the prices drop if the product doesn't move. Most of my wardrobe and fabric stash come from here. As well, every Monday is 25% off total purchase. On many holidays, they also have 50% off.
