Red Roof PLUS+ Columbus - Ohio State University OSU

I have to travel to and from Columbus a lot with work. This hotel has always provided a clean well kept room with comfy bed, well working A/C and very centralized to dinning and shopping. Very worth the price and 10/10 recommend. I stay here every trip to Columbus

The room was clean and comfortable, with a king bed and a nice TV. The location is centralized and convenient to everything in Columbus. The staff was helpful and friendly. The price cannot be beat in the area.

Omar was the best. Early checkin available and clean room. Great start to our trip. We will definitely stay here again.

Rooms are very clean, they have a luggage cart under the stairs which comes in handy! The beds are very comfortable too! Been here for a week now and have slept very very well! Close to OSU so it does get a little loud at nite and there was a vehicle break in one of the nights so you do want to keep a close eye on your vehicle or take anything of value inside with you. Other than that it's been nice:) Our daughter is at Dodd Rehab learning how to walk after her car accident and this place being so close is very convenient.

Stayed here for the first week of my radiation treatments with husband and two daughters and it definitely felt like home away from home! The staff is friendly, and with being 5 minutes away from the hospital and a handful of places to choose from for food it definitely made our situation a whole lot better ❤

I am a travel nurse and have been staying at this location intermittently for over a year. Location is perfect to OSU hospital, the stadium, etc. The front desk staff, specifically Omar, goes above and beyond for me and other guests as well. He has a contagious positive attitude that I can always count on after a rough night at work. This location is not a 5 star hotel, but for the price, I believe is a great place to stay! Never had a negative experience with the staff here, and they are quick to address and concerns.

Me and my Husband were on are 30+ years Wedding Anniversary . I really enjoyed are time away.

Zavi was a excellent help they also keep their property clean and updated as well. I will definitely recommend everyone staying here and getting into the deals they provide.

This is my "go to" hotel when I'm working in the area. The staff are very polite, helpful, and professional. Rooms are always clean. Beds are comfortable. The hotel is located right off of OSU campus, so the location is ideal. There is a very wide variety of locations to eat at close by. Definitely recommended.

Stayed the night for a concert at OSU Stadium. Room was ready before 1pm which was appreciated and unexpected! The young man at the desk was kind. 3rd floor room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. All the workers we encountered were personable. Easy parking, elevator for 2nd/3rd floors. Straight shot walk to OSU just under 30 minutes with sidewalks, safe and visible security/police along the way. Also lots of electric scooters in the area.

After reading some other negative reviews, I was weary of going. However, they let us look at the room before checking in, and we were able to verify it was clean and free of leaks/bugs etc. As for the security deposit (which other reviews mention having problems with), we received the deposit back the same day we checked out. Your mileage may very. Overall, helpful and friendly staff, great location, and great price!

The room was clean and the location was extremely convenient. We loved being able to get food from the nearby food trucks, walk the dogs without having to go far from the room, park right outside the door of our first floor room, and be able to quickly get to the OSU vet center. We ended up having to extend our stay at the last minute and it was a very easy process. Our stay made an otherwise stressful trip so much better!

I don't hide that when I decided to book my overnight stay in this structure, an important factor (if not the most important) was the economic convenience. Leaving Italy for a long holiday, I knew I would be here for some time and it was crucial for me to find a solution that wasn't too expensive.
What I really didn't expect was to find it so beautiful that I decided to extend my stay for a further week beyond the previous almost three.
I found friends in Francis (the manager) and handyman Dragan. Helpful and caring people, attentive in meeting my needs and understanding my difficulties in being a single girl in a city she didn't know.
There was not a single moment that I didn't feel safe or that I doubted that if I needed help I would find it in them. and so it was.
It's no exaggeration that I felt at home, because this is the Red Roof Inn Plus for me, a family. Because that's what they are all together. An excellent collaborative team in carrying out their tasks scrupulously, without ever neglecting the human factor, starting from the very sweet and very kind ladies in charge of cleaning and making up the rooms.
Every awakening was a good day even when it rained (and it often happens here) thanks to their smiles and the care with which they never failed to ask me if I needed anything.
As in any family, there are rules to be respected for the common good and for individuals, including guests who happen to have at home. It is up to common sense and the rules of good manners to respect them, because in any structure (5 or 1 star), whether you stay for one night or for twenty, you must behave as if you were at home, respecting things, animals and people.
I'm still here as I write this, but it’s about to leave this place and I already know it’s going to be missed.
You understand well because for me limiting myself to an assessment of cleanliness, services offered and value for money is absolutely reductive in describing my stay.
In any case, there isn't a single one of these fields where I don't feel satisfied with what I've received. Would I go back? No, I would stay here if I could.

Omar always takes care of his customers! Great customer service provided by him, always. He is the face of the company and he represents it with exceeding expectations. Good work, Omar! Without you taking care of Joe and I, we would’ve found a new place to stay over a year ago.

Quiet, comfortable and close to everything we need. They have an awesome fire pit on site that is perfect for relaxing and getting to know some new faces!

We always stay here when we go the Buckeyes' games. The other hotels in the area are further away and you will appreciate staying here if you are walking to and from the game. We stayed here August 8th for the Motley Crue/Def Leppard/Alice Cooper World Tour and, again, we were glad because we walked to and from the stadium. The King Bed room was excellent. Super-comfy bed. We had a refrigerator, safe, desk, king bed, coffee maker and plenty of outlets and USB ports. Parking is for guests only. They have vending machines and an ice machine and extra snacks for sale in the lobby. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and they too are close-by. One time we stayed at a hotel a little further away and, believe me, by the end of the game we were wishing we were at the Red Roof Inn!
