The best fashion college in NYC; forget about FIT, Parsons, New School, or Pratt, the best of the best come teach here and the best job connections are also here. If you want to earn a living in the corporate sector of luxury fashion houses this is the place to be. 10/10 would give 10 stars if I could. Don’t hesitate to register and follow your dreams! Cheaper than FIT and Parsons too!!

I'm rating this College 5 stars, I'm pretty sure it's good, but I have a question about it, and if anyone knows the answer they can just comment under one of my Google + posts, I did email LIM, but I wanted to ask on here too. Is LIM literally just for fashion or is there more too it? I got a friend that goes here, and another that I'm not sure if she still goes or not. I don't know if I know anyone else that goes here. But anyway, I'm curious about if LIM is just fashion or is there more to it??

I spent 4.5 year in college here...did very well, in college, and passed, with honors. Although it has kept me employed, I never made even half what I was expected to make and the country entered a recession, after I graduated so the debt of the student loan was never worth the time/effort/and money it costed me to attend (13 years later, still stuck with that huge debt). If I could turn the hands of time backwards, I would have gone to school for something more lucrative and also, meaningful, like what I am doing, now...with only a handful of certificates. #youliveandlearn

Literally everyone in this school has the NASTIEST attitudes! Especially student financial services! They are so dismissive, condescending, and just nasty! I’m so happy I made the decision to leave! For the younger generation that might read this review, please go to a RESPECTED university and take up Marketing or business and I promise you you will get that same kind of jobs for a much more affordable education with counselors that care and guide u through! LIM is not even respected in the fashion industry, good jobs would rather see university experience. I got that straight from networking ON MY OWN within the fashion space and rubbing shoulders with CEOs. It’s what ultimately helped me make my decision to go to an in state university. I no longer have to deal with the nasty attitudes of LIM employees!

I do not recommend this school. It’s a waste of money and if you are out of state it’s an even bigger waste of money. All you get are loans and barely any funding. Also, you need 2-3 internships which are required and there’s not much help given to help you achieve those. I never heard of a school forcing students to take that many internships. Usually it is one internship and if you are working you can get credit from your job. Not here they will keep you from graduating if it means they can get that $6,000 from you. Another thing which really made me regret coming here is how inconsiderate some of the staff can be. I recently lost a parent and was told to contact the assistant Dean to get an extension on coursework. This individual called me at 6pm and started asking me personal questions. Then proceeds to ask me why I needed off from school if I wasn’t burying my parent that week. That was when I realized this school wasn’t my dream. I shouldn’t have went to a for profit school when I had amazing schools in my area where I would have had everything paid for.
