SpringHill Suites by Marriott Columbus OSU

My mother and I had the pleasure of staying at Springhill Suites last week for several days and we were so impressed with all the staff! They were all so amazing and had great customer service skills. The shuttle service back and forth to OSU Wexner relieved so much anxiety we had! The room was clean and quiet. We planned on using the pool but didn't get a chance to. I would recommend staying here to everyone! Keep being amazing!!!

In town for work at Ohio State University. Front desk associates were amazing. Bartender (Chris) was very inviting and had a great vibe. All the way around great place to stay and would recommend to anyone!

I stayed at SpringHill during a work trip in Columbus. As an out-of-towner, I found this hotel to be excellent location wise. It seems like Ohio has 100+ different highways, and this location is a quick drive in any direction. The room is nice and spacious. It's fully equipped with a fridge, microwave, couch, smart tv, desk, and coffee maker. The lobby is inviting and clean, and the staff are wonderful. I booked through work and was expecting a king bed, but walked into 2 queens. I called the front desk and the man who checked me in let me know that because it was booked through a 3rd party he more than likely did not have the availability to change the room, but he would do his best to assist. Unfortunately, no kings were available during my stay, but the willingness to check and give great customer service stood out. I loved the hotel bar - the ability to stay "home" and drink a relatively nice glass of wine (SIMI Cab, $20/bottle retail) also stood out. Luke, the bartender, was 10/10. Friendly, sociable, remembers people's names along with their drink order, quick service, and attitude was unmatched. Wednesday night the bar was PACKED - every stool full with people standing behind them, & he still made a point to check on people at the fire pit and the people sitting at tables around the bar. Truly, he deserves a raise. Overall pleasant experience and I'm looking forward to rebooking for my December trip. My *only* complaint would be thicker bath towels, but compared to the rest of the hotel, that is insignificant.

The toilet and shower were different rooms which was a bit odd but overall a very good stay.

This place is amazing! We stayed as a family of 5 and we felt very comfortable in the queen suite. Staff went above and beyond and made us feel valued. Breakfast was amazing with great variety, something for everyone! We loved that the toilet and bathtub were in separate rooms, especially with having a family of 5. The only down side was seeing that our nightstands had fresh coffee stained rings when we first got to the room. I hate to even mention that because everything else was so SO nice...Besides that, the room and the stay were PERFECT! Thank you SpringHill Suites!

Very nice. We need to be close to the Wexner Medical Ctr, which is a Mike away. Also a nice variety of places to eat nearby.

Centrally located to all sporting events. Staff friendly breakfast was fantastic not the usual hotel

Excellent stay! The hotel is very clean and the rooms are large. Love the separate shower. The breakfast is very good and there are so many choices- something for everyone. The general manager Al is very inviting, personable and so helpful. There were many teams staying there and it was so quiet. Just love the special touch of the hotel displaying balloon bouquets in the team colors with their name at the top in the lobby area - what a special touch. Looking forward to returning.

We stayed here twice over a week-long period of time. Both rooms were spacious and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Matthew-the gm, was very kind and willing to be flexible. He went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of. Breakfast had plenty of options. The location was perfect to walk to campus, close to some great restaurants, and easily accessible to anywhere else we wanted to go. Overall, it was a great experience!

We only stayed here one night on the return trip of our vacation this year, but this was far and away the best room of our trip.

Most hotels had pillows that barely held anything, but here there was one soft and one actually firm pillow. The beds were comfortable as well, firm enough without being like rocks.

There was a sofa that could turn into a day-bed, and it had a trundle bed as well, if needed. In the same area as the sofa was a small desk/office area that was separated from the beds by a frosted glass pane, making it possible to use the area without disturbing those trying to sleep, another difference from most hotel rooms, where the desk is directly adjacent to the beds.

Finally, and perhaps the most useful part of this room, was that the shower area and toilet were separate rooms, which I'd never encountered before in a hotel. This made it possible for two people to use the sinks, or someone to shower while someone else needed to use the restroom.

There are also several good restaurants and convenient locations in a very short distance from the hotel.

Overall, I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

Rooms are very nice, very well-maintained. Complimentary breakfast is simple but good: yogurts, make-your-own waffles, oatmeal, and additions such as walnuts, brown sugar, dried fruits, etc. Bananas and oranges provided, as well as sausage, muffins, bagels, breads. Coffee provided, as well as fruit juices. Has indoor swimming and fitness center.
Hotel is situated on a main thoroughfare, and less than 2 miles from OSU. Dining and shopping are within walking distance. Public transit exists in the area. The location itself isn't attractive, but you don't usually go to a hotel *for the hotel* and it's in a good spot for accessing other things in the area.

Staff was friendly and helpful, provided information on attractions and such in the area. Staff stayed on top of making sure everything was clean and functional.

I came into this hotel with very low expectations. It's a Springhill Suites next to a college. In almost 4000 nights with Marriott I have seen that combination go to hell many times. This place is great. The staff is amazing and friendly. Not overly chatty which is nice. When I asked where Starbucks was and it was not just simply "go down the street"...it was "if you are using drive through actually pass it first to make it easier for you". Little details like that make a difference. The rooms were clean and the AC worked. The internet was fast. This place is great!

Unbelievable week stay! Nick and the staff went out of their way to make our stay was pleasant as possible during a medical emergency. Close to OSU medical facilities. Close access to everything you could need. Well lite parking area's in safe location, terrific services, clean 5 star design suites, great breakfast, and a calming patio to catch your breath.

Great location. Near Tim Hortons, Hoffbrau House, and so many other restaurants. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, and the area was nice. Only downside was breakfast was limited for those who can't have gluten. Boiled eggs and bananas was it, and the bananas ran out quickly.

Great room, loved the desk area with good lighting and plenty of space. I was here for most of a week and it was comfortable, roomy and nice. The separate toilet room from the shower was a good surprise, and the sofa a good place to chill. Breakfast was good too. Staff were all great and plenty of onsite parking. Thanks for the great stay

The facilities are very clean. The rooms are big and nice and well-appointed. The breakfast has a lot of options and the people were very nice. What really impressed me about this hotel was how prepared the hotel was for the groups of gas coming in. This was one of the best experiences for our team and I would highly recommend this hotel!

Nice hotel, very spacious rooms, and clean. The office in the room was really helpful with getting work done. The staff was pleasant and nice. Would recommend staying here and would stay here again.

Breakfast was basic (hotel food) and the gym is very small. Open space in the lobby for doing work. The staff was friendly and not overbearing.
