Cooperstown Cheese Company

We recently visited the Cooperstown Cheese Company during a visit up from Maryland to see my grandmother in Oneonta. I've been dying to go to this place and it did not disappoint.

The gentleman working there was super friendly and made sure to let us know about the free cheese samples- which my kids were very excited about.

We heard great things about the cheesecakes, but the big ones were sold out. Next time I'll try to get there before they're gone! :)

The cheese was excellent and the jalapeno pickles were amazing!

Overall, a very great stop if you're in the area. I love how the company values and supports their LOCAL farmers and businesses, that alone made it worth the visit!

Stopped while we were in the area to purchase some local cheeses and snacks for out-of-town guests (we ourselves are from Virginia but travel to Cooperstown area often). My goodness such a selection! Cheeses, accoutrements (pickles, chutneys, syrups and honey), baked goods. Gift items, too, that would make it easy to make up a gift basket for wedding or important events. Cheese all had tasty samples, cheesecake (a must from this place!) is available by slice or whole pie. So much and pleasant service, too.

Wonderful shop parked full of so many things: fantastic cheeses, jams/jellies, craft old fashioned drink (lemonade is the best!), gift baskets, dishes, & much more. The cheesescake is phenomenal. Light & creamy.

OMG😛 this cheesecake makes me want to die! I'm dreaming about it everyday since I had it on our vacation. I didn't think something that came frozen could be so delicate, smooth, rich and heaven in my mouth. The whip cream becomes divine at room temp tasting of sweet fresh cream with a touch of sweetness..the cheesecake itself is smooth rich and the lightest thing I have ever had. It's so rich but so light you think you are eating a pillow of cream. Then the flavor hits and you can't stop eating.. if you don't stop and have a slice you are crazy. Also the graham cracker crust is so buttery and amazing..it comes from the farm and you can taste it in every bite. If New York was smart they would make this a number one destination because you will have your mind blown!!

This is by far one of the best cheesecakes I ever had. Nothing beats the creamy texture of the cheesecake. I had it a couple of times while i stayed in upstate. But this time around, I had bought my cooler with me and bought a small cheesecake to bring it back to nyc. The commute was almost 4-5 hours and it survived with some ice packs of course! My family had a taste and can’t get enough of it! You can’t get a good cheesecake like this in the city.

All the way from Chicago for the Dreams Park tournament! We stopped by to grab a cheesecake for my mothers 72nd birthday (7/16/2023) and a slice of vanilla/chocolate cake for my daughter (7).

Great place to stop and visit. Cheeses and cheese cakes made on premises. Owner super nice, you can sample every cheese they make. Herbs and seasonings to make your own cream cheese spread. Honey, maple syrup, sauces and pickles of many varieties, gluten free crackers & pretzels too. They can even make a gluten free cheese cake with a one day notice. We bought maple cream, some Jersey Girl Cheese, some specialty crackers and beverages. Truly a five star stop.

The cheesecake was delicious. The people were really friendly. We bought some cheese based on the samples and are excited to go home and eat it!

The owner was so sweet. Everything in here was cuter than the next. Locally made food (jams, butters, pickled items, etc.), home goods (soaps, candles), and crafts (shadow boxes, cloth bags, & more). Bought my little niece a chocolate cow, 2 soy candles that smell amazing, and an intricate painted egg ornament for a friend.

Very nice, lots of great cheese to taste and buy.

I was at a farmer’s market earlier today with my mom and sister when we bought some cheese from this company. It was the A.B.B.I.E. one and a TOTAL hit! Everyone who tried some loved it!! I didn’t have any of it myself, but I did appreciate the ingredients listed and how organic and natural they all were. Totally recommend this place if you’re looking for some well made dairy products- good work! :-)

Great cheese! Always find them at the local farmer's markets in Westchester County. While attending the Jan 22 Tarrytown Market, I bought the Jersey Girl Cheese with spring onion. As usual, did not disappoint. Key compliments: Raw Cows milk, no antibiotics, nor artificial hormones.

An absolute fabulous business, they have everything from artisan cheese honey maple syrup chips cheese cake, well you get the idea. A must stop place

Great selection of cheeses, cheese curds and other products, including cheese cake, sauces, jams and jellies, crackers, pickles, maple syrup and honey, baked goods, etc. They even have locally made pottery, soaps and lotions. A great place to put together gift baskets, too!

Just want to give a shout out to this little shop the CHEESECAKE IS WORLD CLASS hands down best you have ever dreamt of, if you are in the Cooperstown area or even the northeast for that matter you are doing yourself a disservice by not stopping in for one of these!!

Reciently found Cooperstown Cheese at the Ramsey Farmers Market. The cheese is fabulous! We
Especially liked the Jersey Girl and blue cheese varieties. The market is closed for two months. I will need to find a supply before then.

They have the WORLD’s BEST cheesecake! Enjoyed the Cinnamon Honey, too! Owner was friendly and helpful. Wish we lived closer, but will definitely be back again.

Purchased some of their cheese at a farmer's market. It was amazing!

Stopped here today after driving by multiple times ... bought a chesse cake and a single slice chocolate cake and 2 plain dounuts for my 67 year old father who Is picky ... well big compliments cause when he likes everything I bring home it's a mini miracle and he raved about the cake and dounuts... so we try cheese cake it's so good .. hands down best crust I have ever had on any cheese cake and I have tried alot .. we will be back .. thank you
