During my long stay here at Presbyterian I hands Down had the Best Hospital experience. I had to amazing nurses , Raquel & Samatha. They fulfilled all my needs with amazing positive energy & aura. everyone was super understanding and caring. Everyone was very professional & it was such and clean & fancy environment. They will literally make sure you have everything you need to feel comfortable, While making sure you get the care that you need and deserve. The Male that ordered and served the meals was also Very hardworking and nice. I wish more hospitals can be more like Presbyterian If I could I would give this establishment more stars Great Job !

My daughter gave birth on 1/1/24 and the entire staff was amazing. Especially her nurse Nyeisha!! She was so caring, understanding, loving and everything else you want a nurse to be. Any concerns and or questions we had she addressed them all and went above and beyond.

Came to the ER here with a health scare and could not have been more impressed with the care I received. From the ER doc (Dr. Bourlas) to the nurses, orderlies, and all the rest of the staff, I was given expert treatment with compassion and kindness. The people here do fantastic work under difficult circumstances.

I fractured my foot the other day and went to NYPLMH. From the first staff member I had contact with at the front desk to the last who discharged me (there was about 8 in total), I experience nothing but the upmost professionalism and courteousness. Everyone was extremely polite and uplifting. I was in and out with an x-ray and diagnosis very quickly for an ER. Many thanks to all the staff.

So I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while. I wanted to wait until I delivered. I am also surprised to read such negative reviews about their L&D experience. I delivered this past July. My OBGYN is Dr. Rosca. She’s a rockstar. I did not have the easiest delivery or pregnancy and she was a much needed calming presence. I appreciated that she was attentive and not an alarmist. That she listened to me when I talked. Towards the end of your pregnancy they rotate you between all the Practitioners in case you deliver when your Primary is not on call.
I found that all of the OBGYNs had superb bedside manner and were very informative and able to explain everything in laments terms.
During my delivery my husband and I were so surprised how seamless everyone worked. Everyone on the team communicated with each other and provided excellent service. So much so that my husband wanted to mimic their teamwork in his own workplace.
My delivery was long and did not go the way I’d hope but the team was very kind and caring. They helped me deliver a healthy baby safely that’s all I can ask for. Whenever I told people or my husband told people where we were delivering they all told us that NYP Weill Cornell was the best place to deliver in NYC. One of these people works midtown at NYP also which I mentally noted.
My sister came to visit me the day I delivered. She’s been an Anesthesiologist for over a couple decades. She was also surprised at the top notch care I received. So again, super confused about these bad reviews but I’m sure people have their reasons.
I had a wet tap which was not ideal but the team corrected it a couple hours later which helped me breastfeed and ambulate easier so I appreciated their swift service recovery. All of the staff from environmental services, Nursing especially!, PAs, Anesthesia, Kitchen were caring and gave superb care. I felt like we were at a Michelin restaurant the service was that great.
Thank you for making our first pregnancy and delivery journey so memorable!

I normally do not leave reviews, but when I do, it means I had a really good time. I was allowed to stay with my wife as long as she needed me to. My wife came to this hospital and had to get induced. The nurses and doctor were so helpful and extremely attentive and especially overnight. My wife and I had our first baby here, and we had a very pleasant experience because the staff made everything so easy and smooth. I recommend this place to anybody, especially for new parents, they answer all your questions. I couldn't hold my tears while thanking the nurses and staff for a successful natural delivery. I wanna give this hospital more than 5 stars because of excellency. I'd be shocked if anybody leave less than 5 stars review.

All of the staff are welcoming and helpful, from the doctors to the janitors and those who bring the food. Everything was communicated clearly and efficiently and from our arrival in the ER to the inpatient room overnight for monitoring, everything went smoothly.

We are so grateful that we were with Weill Cornell/ New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan for the pregnancy
and birth of our first child who is now almost 3 months and thriving. Every doctor, physician’s assistant, nurse, technician, and security guard treated us with the utmost care and expertise. My partner and I often pause to marvel at the consistent positivity of our experience.

A very special thank you to Dr. Vanessa Pena, our OBGYN, Dr. Anca Rosca and Dr. Jason White, of our
delivery team, and Jodi and May from the awesome L&D Nursing and NICU Teams. Another special thank you to the L&D Triage team - we had to visit the ER on more than one occasion during my pregnancy and were always treated with the utmost kindness and responsiveness.

As a black woman navigating the medical system, I was very concerned that I would not be listened to or receive thorough care or survive the process. I shared this with the various care teams and they listened empathically and told me about the protocols they have put in place to begin to mitigate bias in their practices. The race and gender diversity of their teams is also testament to their efforts.

History, statistics, and my own life experiences affirm the very unique and special journey I had during my
pregnancy and birthing experience. I am genuinely shocked and amazed that I can write this type of review.
As we plan to further expand our family, we will certainly return to Weill Cornell/ New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan.

What an awesome, fantastic, care given, nice, amazing, loving hospital. The staffs, doctors, nurses them all is phenomenal. I wouldn’t want it, nor have it any way then for Presbyterian hospital at 170 William st to care for me, and treat me at anytime. Thank You to Dr Gonya and his whole team 🙏🏾

I had surgery at New York
Presbyterian Downtown hospital and spent a total seven days here. From my arrival at the ER until my discharge I rate the medical and nursing staff that treated and cared for me above excellent. I've had stays at other hospitals but I found the staff at NYP to be extra caring.
I thank each and every one of them.

I gave birth in this hospital and had the best experience. The L&D nurses could not have been more supportive, kind, caring, and knowledgeable. The PA’s and doctors were also incredibly empowering, always explaining what was happening and reminding me that I was in charge and had options throughout the process. They were also welcoming to my doula. I would go out of my way to deliver here again.

I love going to this hospital the staff works quick to get you in and out of the emergency room. I went there with a laceration on my top lip. I was treated by Dr. Kenneth M. Rose (PLASTIC SURGEON).I wish I could give him 10 stars. He was very kind, gentle and informative. Dr.Rose told me everything he was going to do before he did it! I was worried and scared he reassured me the hardest part was over. Not to be scared he even made me laugh a bit in my time of pain by talking about different things. He's the best!!!! A day later I was worried about my lip being swollen texted Dr.Rose after hrs and he gave me a call right away! Asked me questions and told me not to worry it's to be expected. He is an awesome doctor with outstanding bedside manners.

This was the best experience I've had being in a hospital.☺ I'm already petrified of doctors and surgery 😒😔, but the entire staff made my stay truly a great one. All the nurses and doctors were truly remarkable. My doctor , Dr. Andrew Sands was remarkable. Dr. Walsh my anesthesiology was the best. The operating room nurse, scrub tech and the entire staff really went above and beyond to comfort me in every way possible. They kept checking on me every 5mins prior to surgery and even after, just to reassure me that everything was going to be alright. I would highly recommend this hospital and especially Dr.Sands and his entire team. Their knowledge, professionalism, experience and most importantly compassion for their patients is unmatched. ✔🙌💯
