I have done advisement twice. But Mr. Tim H was the best. He truly cares about your goals and makes sure you aren’t wasting your time and money. Meanwhile, the previous one I had before wants me to take so many minors first even advised me to finish Liberal Arts before I continue Accounting which was ridiculous since I already have a degree BSHRM.
Thanks Mr. Tim H (couldnt remember the last name)

Very diverse. You can see all kind of people over here. Most of the students and staff are friendly. Environment is good. Friendly neighborhood. If you are hungry, you can find all types of food around the building. It has 26000 student. It also has a big cafeteria, big library, big quiet study place for study and a lot more . All in all this is one of the best college.

I was a student there from the years of 2015 to 2017. Would not have been possible for me to have obtained some better education at an affordable price if it wasn't for BMCC. Some of the professors are not great, and some of them ensured that every student understood. like all schools, there is good and bad about it. If a better education and eventually going to a good University is your goal, this is an affordable place to do undergrad general education. For New York State residents the price is super affordable. Go to BMCC!

Great college with students who are striving to better themselves. Without places like BMCC, thousands of NYers would have no access to higher ed. Most 4 year colleges do not have the resources to think about students who do not fit a specific SAT, GPA, or language level.

If you need a community college that is inclusive and resourceful for its students, staff, and nonstaff you are welcome. Good location and exceptional students get the help they need as well.

It’s a great place to start your college journey especially for immigrants. Since it’s very diverse, you’ll get a lot of resources from this college. Even during the pandemic, BMCC provided students a lot of support to stay in college. My college experience was nice. I am thankful to BMCC.

Let’s just say admissions had some questionable people working there. Some of the financial aid folks weren’t really not too helpful. But the professors, counselors, student activity folks were awesome and I loved the education. I’m happy to have met Larry Jackson, Kwasi Konadu & Nate Angelo during my time here.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND BMCC!! Honestly the most biggest 2 year school and most diverse school ever!! Really you get to meet a lot of different people here and honestly I am in love with this school. Friendly people. No drama. Professors are 100% decent once you encounter the right professors. Honestly this school is great and what I really like is that you can transfer and complete 4 years at another school or after you get your degree here you can go out of state to complete for a bachelors. Really great opportunities.

It’s a big school with pool, gym, basketball/volleyball courts and the resources for students to use are plenty. I though it would be a old rusty because it was a community college but its very new and each building has all the stuff a students would need also stores and cafes nearby make it a very good option even better than some 4-year colleges nearby.

Very diverse! and Offers Great extra curricular activities. They have a rowing club as they are not too far from the water, chess club and many other clubs you can join. Library is full of great books(textbooks* you can photocopy instead of buying) and study rooms have nice private cubicals. They also have plays. Overall Good school.

I attended between 2018-2019, getting my associates degree between spring 2018-spring 2019 by taking winter and summer classes. The offices and staff offered a lot of support and were always very polite; Never had a boring professor, even if the class was a boring subject, they brought it to life as best as they could. Offers many courses, monday-Sunday, on campus and online which made things very accessible to those who work or have a family. The school and bathroom facilities are clean (something I took for granted when I transferred to a four-year). Overall I had a great experience, didnt realize how terrible other schools in the CUNY system were until I left as everyone had always talked badly about bmcc.
