Amazing experience, when we arrived everything was fast and on point. Hospital is beautiful with advanced technology. You can tell this hospital has money $$$. Staff are dope and seem to be focus on their work. Food was close to restaurant quality with beef short ribs as a main. The place was super clean, I seen the cleaning crew clean the bathrooms every 30 min (in the ER) They keep you updated via text on the procedure of your love ones. Security was excellent, checking bags and keeping the place safe. I love it so much I’m getting a primary doctor here.

This hospital is 20 mins walk from NYPenn station.

Very good atmosphere and very strict for visitors.

My uncle got his surgery done at this location and he is doing well now.

Great place and very safe, clean and hygenic.

I strongly recommend this hospital for any neurological visits….

I gave birth here and let’s say I can’t wait to do it again. They were the best 3 days of my life. Everyone was amazing especially the nurses. They deserve all their roses. Everything went smoothly thanks to them. Their professionalism and care was above and beyond. They answered all my questions and respected all my concerns when I was in labor. In the most vulnerable moments they knew how to comfort me. The midwife I had was knowledgeable and encouraged me when I wanted to give up. She told me you are going to see your baby really soon you are almost there trust me and minutes later there he was :). My delivering doctor was Dr. Andrew Gardner another gem I highly recommend. If you are pregnant look no further this is the place to go. They also had a photographer on the second day taking pictures to capture my new little family. I appreciated the fact that they only allowed two visitors. In those beautiful first days all you need is your spouse and your baby to bond. I had an ensuite room and had all the privacy I needed. I got to choose my 3 meals a day and had open fridge if I needed extra. They also restocked if I ran out of any postpartum things I needed and I got a goodie bag to. I returned this frida mom postpartum recovery kit I got from my baby shower because the stuff I got from the hospital was way better.

I love this hospital! I took my wife to the emergency room because she was in labor. The nurse midwifes, Jenna, Carrie, Rita, and Diana was shocked when they told us that our baby has a birth defect. They immediately did a emergency C-section to save our baby. And even worse, we were told that our baby had a skin disease called Epidermoysis Bullosa, which causes a skin to blister. Our baby son John was in the NICU for 4 months. Thank you, for saving John’s life!

I don't know about you, but this hospital saved my life when I got COVID in April 2021. Top class doctors triaged me and listened to my concerns.

Did emergency surgery on me that night because of complications from Coney Island Hospitals treatment of me.

Expensive $78k for 5 or so nights , but insurance and the government covered it at the time.

The staff are super nice here. I am with my mom from this Friday, and each nurse and Dr who comes are professional, polite, and just very friendly. The food they bring for my mom is very delicious. I have been to ER a few times with my mom or sister, and every experience with the staff hospital is great. Thank you so much for everything you all do. Thank you

Heartfelt gratitude to NYU Hospital’s medical staff and Dr. Sean Breslin.
Our 90-year old mother, Eliane Le Crann, had a fall on July 9, 2023 and was in the ER of LIJ Forest Hills. They determined that she had no concussion, had a fracture on her left wrist, put a splint and sent her home at 12:30 a.m. on the 10th. We brought her to an orthopedist on Monday whose finding was that the splint was unnecessary because the fracture was from years ago that did not heal properly. On Tuesday, we brought her to her opthalmologist. There was no damage to her eye which was green, blue and black. On Wednesday, we brought her to a neurologist who ordered a brain MRI that we were able to have done on Thursday. Moreover, we consulted her PCP because she was not swallowing her prescription medicines and food. She was unable to say what she was trying to say beyond the first word. Her PCP told us to take her to the hospital as she was likely a case for feeding bag, a problematic situation.

At our lawyer’s competent advice, we brought our mother to NYU Hospital early on Friday. Dr. Breslin’s and his colleagues’ assessments, tests, diagnosis and treatment decisions brought back our mother’s swallowing and speaking functions on Sunday. We were so relieved and thankful that she did not need a feeding bag!

At the moment, our mother is at NYU Hospital’s Rusk Rehabilitation facility for brain function and mobility therapies. Profound thanks to Dr. Breslin, Ms. Tenzing, Ms. Tanya, the Neurology Team, the ladies in burgandy uniform, all the medical tests and nutrition staff.

The most caring and fast hospital visit I have ever experienced in my life! The nurses are so nurturing, they obviously take their job seriously. Test were done so fast and got results in a timely manner. There was 1 nurse I won't forget, my mom went in with me and as I lay on the bed the nurse made sure she got a chair for my mom to sit on. It's the smallest things that make the biggest difference. Thank you so much NYU, God bless every single one of you.

While most reviews were positive and I don’t discount that some have had a somewhat negative experience, I will confirm that we had the BEST experience EVER.
My wife was in for what they called an “ outpatient procedure “. Exactly don’t understand why outpatient since that procedure’s protocol was to stay overnight.
Anyway, not to get into Every detail and list staffers names
( exemplary and well deserved to mention), we found the experience to be exemplary and Spot On Perfect.
All, and I mean all who we came in contact with were absolutely professional, compassionate and simple fantastic. This was from admitting to discharge.

Years ago, a business owner of a large chain store (we all know) once told me when I complimented his operation and staff with “you must have some training program. Your employees are fabulous”. His reply was, “yes, we do but we start by interviewing and hiring the right people.”
He continues to say that their parents were primarily responsible for who they were and we just further hone them through our training program to meet our needs and fit our operation.
I thought, “well said” and never forget his comments.
As it turns out, this gentleman was a founding partner of Home Depot.
The reason I tell this story is because I find that it applies to NYU Langone.
Yes, they’ve hired staff with all the right attributes of compassion, kindness, bedside manners and professionalism.
Dr’s Guth and Thanik hold the same attributes and were wonderful each contributing with their own expertise.
As well, the hospital has a system of notifying family via texts, offering periodic updates of time element of procedure. That is very comforting to know when sitting on “pins and needles“ during that tense period.
I also received a phone call from each doctor after their portion of the procedure was done.
Additionally, notification continues through recovery including when I was able to visit bedside in recovery.

The system they have in place is as they say, runs like
“A fine tuned timepiece “

So I end with a big
“WELL DONE LANGONE”
and Thank You.

From the moment I came in to the moment that I am about to leave the Pediatrics ER, I have only got amazing service and help. They were very fast and diligent with everything they did, they provided enough information to us regarding our first born daughter. They continued to give all the respect towards us. They even offered to see us again if she was not getting better. I would 100000/10 recommend coming here if you need help with your child, they will always show you the utmost respect. They were just amazing to my daughter and me and my fiancé

Excellent care and service. Had my mother admitted to the ER for COVID after it began to heavily affect her respiratory system and the staff were extremely diligent and attentive. They were quick to get her properly oxygenated and taken care of. The nurses and doctors in the respiratory unit were nothing less than professional and effective in their treatment, making sure their patient was comfortable and confident in their recovery process.

This is my second surgery at NYU Langone. .
Last time I had arthroscopy of the knee
This time I had knee replacement surgery
I had excellent service here both times,
The nurses especially Juan Perez were the
best. I also want to thank The Patient care
technicians, occupational and physical
therapy staff and the food service and
housekeeping staff they were all friendly
and professional.
The room and bathroom were clean and
well stocked. Did not have to call to
complain about anything.
Thanks Orthopedic Staff and surgery staff
for taking care of me from the admission process to
my discharge.
