The Local Branch

This was our second time here while visiting Skaneateles. Last time we bought a beautiful cape my wife wears regularly, and this time around we bought some sweatshirts, book, and a sticker of the new to us, trout logo which I personally love!

The person that helped us today was great! Super friendly! We even saw them later in the day out and about, and asked us how the rest of our day went!

Great people, and a phenomenal shop! We always look forward to stopping in when we visit the area!

Love this place. Cozy, friendly atmosphere, with a high-quality and eclectic selection of clothing, accessories, antique items, and odds and ends. The Skan hoodie I bought is the softest thing I've ever felt, and my Finger Lakes coozie is now a fixture for backyard excursions.

Ordered the winter hat online through the Humbl Marketplace! Ordering was easy, shipping to Minnesota was much quicker than expected and the hat...let’s just say it’s fantastic and is great quality, not to mention the personal touch with how it was wrapped and shipped. Really awesome to be able to purchase great quality merchandise from a “local artisan” I live nowhere close to! Thank you to The Local Branch for the great hat and thank you to Humbl for connecting me to an awesome merchant I would have otherwise not known!!

I absolutely love this store! They have wonderful local hand crafted clothes and decorations. I recently ordered a picture and frame from here, it came out absolutely gorgeous (the wrapping was perfect for the wedding it’s being gifted for).

Very cool shop with handcrafted leather goods and vintage items. Some high-quality apparel, as well (some of which is branded “Skaneateles”).

Honestly one of my favorite stores in all of CNY. Awesome leather goods, cool clothing, and a well-curated selection of home and personal goods. Perfect for anyone who likes the outdoors, the Finger Lakes, is a bit hipstery, and/or wants some great hand-made goods.

Old world charm, modernized. I got a really cool fish knife for my son and some nice stationary for my daughter. This stuff brings back fantastic memories of my childhood, but my kids are interested in the historic items as well. Great leather goods and clothes. I will be back soon.

The Local Branch is a very unique little store located right in the heart of the village of Skaneateles. Inside you'll find a wide array of eclectic and locally made products. Everything from clothes and shoes to books and beer making materials, this is a very unique store. They carry some antiques as well and lots of products that give you a great taste of nostalgia. Well worth the visit!

Store is small, but very personable. Had large parking lot for the town behind the store which is right in the middle of town. Great place to find authentic virgin olive oils, wonderful balsamic vinegar as well as original salts and slices.

Going to F Oliver’s is always a must on our annual trip to Skaneateles! They have delicious oils & balsamic vinegars and are very knowledgeable about what items pair well together. The Tuscan herb olive oil & Felix Oliver’s reserve balsamic are two of our favorites 😊

Amazing oils and vinegars, abundance of flavors. A warm, welcoming staff who help you with tastings and finding just the right combination. You won't be able to choose just one!

The Local Branch is one of our favorite Skaneatles shops. The Yelpin kombucha on tap is excellent and the ambiance is very cool. Worth a stop!

Love this place, the aged balsamic is excellent. FYI the Skaneateles location closed as of January 2018. Their other locations are still open though.
