Heather Hills Park

This was my childhood park as I lived on Bobwhite Trail when I was little. I have so many wonderful memories of this park. After many years of living in other states (29 years, to be exact), I took my one year old son here one evening. I was so pleasantly surprised to see it looking so nice still. Everything looks just the same as it did all those years ago. It's a quiet secluded park and I recommend it for anyone with a little one. There are picnic tables and benches, and the entrance to a lovely trail in the woods for and added adventure. There's a little free library at the entrance now too!

Well maintained park

A nice, small neighborhood park. I am deducting one star for lack of parking (on street parking only) and one star for lack of shelter.
The playground is small and designed for smaller kids. There are a few picnic tables and benches located around the playground. There is plenty of shade provided by all the trees. But no shelter in case of rain.
There appears to be a trail... but good luck finding and trail markers. But it is still a nice wooded area to wander around in.
Not worth going out of your way for, but if you live in the neighborhood, a nice quiet place to take the kids to!
