Mark's Texas Hots

We came here from Toronto Ontario to try out Marks Garbage plate. Holy smokes it is so good. The atmosphere is also pretty cool! The staff are friendly and the customers are characters lol. It's known that you'll see a fight or a domestic and it's true!!! It was amazing. 8.9/10 recommend

This place is a Rochester classic! Stopped in for breakfast and ask them to make me a Texas hot omelette and they were happy to accommodate. You could also think of it perhaps as a breakfast garbage plate? Either way very good and really nice people

I had a good experience late at night he treated us well it was taken only but the food was freshly cooked and tasted great they were very fast despite several parties. I think it's a great portion size for the price and I got my money's worth. The rating is only lowered a little bit because it's not any particularly fancy place or food that's difficult to me or recipes unique we found their butt what they say is offered is what you will get--nothing fancy, nothing odd, you know what you're getting because they list everything they put in the meal you order. thing is a lot of people don't want anything fancy or odd I just want the food good simple tasty and filling and I got that here, and I'm confident everybody else I've seen there is just as pleased.

I have to say I was impressed with this garbage plate. I have only eaten the "original " at Nick Tahou's, but I liked the homefries on Mark's plate better. The meat sauce between the 2 were equal. Nick's seating area is much smaller, and somewhat more "rundown" but we had a great waitress. All in all we will definitely go back.

Amanda is fantastic. Great customer service and great conversation. Wonderful human all around we will be coming back for her specifically.

Local greasy spoon diner. Covid changed some of their hours and they no longer serve breakfast around the clock which is sad because I only ever want a spinach and feta omelet at midnight. It's fine, the fries are very bland & the Mac salad is questionable if you catch it at the wrong time but the garbage plate comes together nicely so it all blends. I like it better than tahoes

I have been eating marks since lake ave. Still tast amazing. I like to call in my order and eat at home. Warko, your food is still amazing. I love your meat sauce

In my opinion the food has def taken a step up. Could be slightly better products or better cooks. But either way.... cmon it's a ROC fav... long live Mark's Texas Hot. And I adore the ladies that work there. They're harx working but don't break a sweat. And their smile will melt the ice in ur cup.

Went here for the first time today. These 2 plates and orange juice was only $15. They have really good specials too. Everyone is also really friendly there. Had a great first experience.

Truly a unique diner of its own, with friendly staff that treat you like you come in all the time!

I always get the garbage plate here it's inexpensive and the waitresses are always nice. One of my go to places when I'm on a budget....

I haven't been to Mark's in a long time but they always have the best chicken wings it was my wife's first time she loved it she had the steak sandwich with fries and she tastes my chicken wings she was happy we will be back.

Never been in person, so I can't speak to the atmosphere. Always great food any time of the day. A true hold put of the great nearly "round the clock" places I grew up enjoying.

Just had their fish fry.... it was a large serving, cooked fresh, very tasty, also it was breadcrumbs not batter which made it better as I get tired of breaded. Will definitely be ordering from here again also it was delivered faster than normal order time. So good.

It is a dinner I used to eat at daily 25 years ago. Just stop in when I visit. Still the same place. Not fine dinning but darn good. The staff is always nice and the coffee always hot and ready.

Same as it ever was! A greasy spoon with it's own charm and attitude. Great plates in a kind of divey environment...just the way a "Hots" joint is supposed to be. Let the food do the talking.
