New Penn

Fast and easy delivery to my company.

My vendor has used New Penn to ship product from PA to New York through the Newburgh NY terminal. This shipping company is the worst I have ever dealt with. They loose pallets, have our product just sitting around until I call can complain. Then they will tell you it is on its way and it is not. I have had to go to the terminal and pick up the product. This incompetence should not be rewarded with any future business. I have asked my vender to switch my preferred trucking company.

Had an order sent to the wrong terminal, in the wrong state, and then spent 9 days being Lied to by Angela about getting it scheduled to be delivered, only to be told that they couldn't find it again, and then finally on day 11 after it was found, called again to see if my order was being delivered or if we were just going to continue being lied to by Angela, i was told my order got broken by their dock workers on a forklift.

Liars. Unprofessional. Terrible customer service. Can't use a forklift. Will never EVER use NewPenn Again.

Normally enjoy using New Penn, quick service, affordable shipping and decent customer service. Something major has changed: Last week, had a shipment coming out of New Jersey bound for Ct.- 1 day delivery service. Tried tracking the second and third day and was promised it was out for delivery. Fourth day- contacted Jordan at the Newburgh facility who told me that they hired another company to deliver it. She had no information on where it was or when it would be there. Had to track down the subcontractor who could not tell me if they were getting my shipment or not- they told me not to use New Penn anymore.
Beware

New Penn LOST our $48,000 pallet during shipment!!! Whats worse is they cannot tell me how it was lost. The response we received from the terminal manager Steve was "I am sorry to report. Freight has not been located." That answer is just not good enough and is lackadaisical.

I was told by New Penn that they do not scan and keep record of pallets leaving their terminal and that they simply do not have that technology. How are you supposed to trust a trucking company that doesn't even know what is on their trucks?

We used to be a loyal customer but now our company will never use New Penn or YRC again. If you value your shipments I would highly suggest against using them.

Horrible Horrible Trucking Company!. They had a delivery for me at their terminal 14 miles away on 9/13. I told them that morning how urgent it was and needed it delivered anytime on 9/13. They never delivered after I talked to Angela their and she assured me it would be on the truck and delivered. So I call this morning and talk to the dispatcher Charlie and he starts giving me the run around. So, now I have to go over and pick up the item myself. They have no sense of urgency and could care less. BEWARE!!! This is the Newburgh NY Terminal.
